Ocean Village Resort is a beautifully landscaped, 1,228 unit Condo Resort. This Condo is on the first floor facing the Ocean (you can watch the sun rise in the morning, and hear the ocean at night), and 10 yards in front of it is the 1st tee of a 9 hole Golf Course ($3 greens fee in season, free off season). (A Putting Green is 40 yds. to the left of the Condo). It's about 75 yards from the Ocean, with a beautiful beach, and from the main pool, which is Olympic sized, with a Jacuzzi there, a Kiddie pool, Tiki bar and Bocce Ball court.
The Clubhouse, at the Olympic sized pool, has it's own restaurant with a beautiful bar and dancing. The lower level (next to the main pool) has a Work Out room, Sauna, and shower facilities.
There are also two other heated pools in the complex, another Bocce Ball court, two Shuffle Board courts, and 10 Tennis courts (six just to the left of the Condo).
Amenities:: Note: As of Sept, 2011, the condo will have wireless internet service.
The Condo is fully furnished and equipped- washer, dryer, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, utensils, etc. The Condo was completely redone after the hurricanes.
All linens and towels (and beach towels) are provided.
There is central A/C, ceiling fans in the living room, bedroom, and porch, a 27-in color TV with cable and VCR, in the living room and a 27' TV with VCR in the bedroom.
The bedroom has a Queen bed, and there are two queen size pull out sofa beds in the living room.
There is a furnished, screened porch so you can watch the sun rise, and enjoy the ocean breeze and the sound of it at night. Also, there are two sets of golf clubs for your enjoyment on the 9 hole golf course, and three tennis racquets.
Activities:: Fishing-You can rent and go out on a fishing boat from the Fort Pierce City Marina, or just drop a line at the Fort Pierce jetty, two miles north.
Baseball-The spring training camp of the NY Mets (St. Lucie) are about a 1/2 hour away.
UDT Navy Seal Museum-about 20 min. away on North Hutchinson Island.
Manatee Observation Area-10 min. away in downtown Fort Pierce-great place to see live manatees (best viewing in winter)-no charge.
Disney World/Universal Studios-approximately 2 hours away.
Kennedy Space Center-approximately 1 hour 45 min. north.
Ft. Pierce City Marina-downtown Ft. Pierce, on the Indian River-two mid priced restaurants (one right on the river), Marina, shops, special events.
Diving-11 dive sites(15 to 60 Ft., some with old ship wrecks) all within an hours drive.
Shopping:: The Treasure Coast Mall -US1 in Jensen Beach.
The Prime Outlet Mall- two exits north at I-95 & Route 60 at Vero Beach. It's beautiful and has some great bargains. (It's where I usually shop).

This is a lovely comfortable condo where we had a very enjoyable vacation. The condo is very clean and well-maintained with all the conveniences described in the advertisement on the "Home Away" web site. We will hove no hesitation in recommending this rental to our friends.. communication with the owner was easy and pleasant. The condo is ideally situated being close to the pool, club house, Inn, putting green, tennis courts, and it is right on the 1st. tee of the golf course. There are interesting locations to visit nearby, plenty of good restaurants in the locality, good shopping in the area, and the baseball park is just down the highway !! We hope to return next year.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Have rented this condo before and think the location is one of the best in the village. Well equipped kitchen. Owner very easy to deal with and very flexible. Love the golf, tennis and the new tiki bar. Restaurant and beach are great too. Will be back again in early 2011 hopefully.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

The description of the unit is all that it is described to be. The unit was very clean and comfortable and well situated. The owner is very helpful with information about the unit and makes the "check-in" process hassle free.This property is very tranquil and quiet and although there were families with small children vacatioining there, I was able to find a quiet spot on the beach to enjoy reading without any distractions. The main pool has a tiki bar that serves up a nice lunch with very affordable prices. The resort has many amenities such as golf and tennis, in addition to the water activities. We went out for dinner and found some very nice restaurants in nearby Vero Beach and Jensen Beach. Since we have friends that own units at Ocean Village, I would definitely consider renting this unit again.Recommended for: Pet owners, age 55+, families with young children.

What a wonderfully excellent property to spend our vaction! You never know what to really expect when you book a vacation sight un seen. George, your condo exceeded our expectations! The accomodations were great and updated, the kitchen was wonderful and was stocked with everything we needed and then some. The location was perfect, the golf course, pool and beach all within walking distance. Never have we stayed in a more accomodating place. The owner, Mr. Oakley is great to work with, and we are so greatful to have had the pleasure of staying in his home away from home. We will be back for sure next year. Thank you so much for everything! I highly reccomend this property to anyone looking for the perfect place to vacation!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

This condo proved to be everything we hoped for and more. Super kitchen that was fully supplied, beautifully decorated condo, and wonderfully located within the community. Walked out our patio to the 1st hole, close to the pool and to the tennis courts. Close beach access, too! Park your car and forget it. Super A/C made August in Florida comfy. Security people were alert and helpful when we had questions about procedures, etc. This was our first Home Away experience, and we'll be back for more.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

My Mom, sisters and I had a great time at Ocean Village this week. The condo is very warm and inviting, with every convenience we could ask for. And what a great location, so close to the pool, the ocean, tennis and the first tee. As the "travel-agent" for this trip, I appreciate how easy it was to make all the arrangements, as the owner is very easy to deal with. We found Ocean Village to be wheel-chair friendly, as well, so Mom was very comfortable. We are seriously thinking about making this girls-trip an annual event, so you will surely be hearing from us again!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

This was a great rental! The owners were excellent to work with, the property is beautiful, the condo was clean, decorated great, very comfortable! We loved it and would definately go back to this property or any property owned by this owner!!!! It exceeded all our expectations. My husband and I spent the month of February 2009 at this condo. We felt at home right away. The condo was very clean and well maintained. All towels and linens supplied. Having the washer and dryer in the condo was really great. All modern appliances. It is in a prime location. Very close to the pool, beach, hot tub and fitness center. The on site restaurant is so convenient and the food was good and the prices reasonable. The owner was so nice and made the rental process very easy. There are many different kinds of sports available at the resort so you can be as active as you want. We enjoyed our time exploring the area and staying on Hutchinson Island was a beautiful experience. A little bit of paradise!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities.

My wife and I had a wonderfull stay at this vacation rental. Everything we needed for our stay was provided.The condo was very clean. The amenities at the resort were great. Golf in the morning, then beach and pool could'nt have been any better. The small local resturants were fantastic.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.
