  Our time at Flor Del Mar was so much more than we were expecting. We were so well taken care of by the staff and the accommodations were absolutely amazing. Our group of 14 people found the rooms clean and well-maintained. The owner was very helpful before our arrival with suggestions to make our stay even more enjoyable. The location of the property was perfect for us. We were within walking distance to a beach but could also drive to other area beaches in a few minutes. We loved that we were not located in the middle of the heavy traffic areas but we were very close to nice restaurants/shops within 10 minutes. I wholeheartedly recommend Flor Del Mar for anyone wanting to experience the perfect get-a-way in on of the most beautiful places on earth, Huatulco, Mexico.

• A Great Escape!

  My wife and I just got married in Huatulco and wanted a place to escape with our family for a few days before our honeymoon. Flor del Mar was the perfect place! We had 7 pairs/couples--so it worked perfectly to rent out the entire place! Every room was unique and comfortable, my new wife and I stayed in the wonderful cave suite. The main living room, pool, and bar were great places to relax and hang out. We were also given special beach access, where the sunrises are picturesque! Joan, Shelby and Grandma were incredibly gracious, helping us with whatever they could! Every morning, a delicious Mexican breakfast was made for all. They even arranged a trip to the waterfalls and took all members of our party to the airport at several different departure times--a huge savings on taxi costs. In short, this is one place we will never forget. We hope to be back in the future!

  Flor del mar is the best Villa to enjoy Huatulco, We rented the full Villa and this house was our best decision, the house is amazing, the owners are very friendly and the property was clean and well maintained. I further recommend Flor del mar for Families, I'm sure that this house is your best option

  We just returned from Huatulco and already want to go back. This was by far one of our most enjoyable and relaxing vacations our group has had in many years. Flor del Mar was perfect for our family and friends that joined us on this trip. The villa was very nice with amazing views of the Pacific Ocean, the staff was like being with family, and the food was incredible. The peacefulness of the location was the best. We woke to the chirping of birds every morning, instead of alarm clocks, and afternoon siestas in the hammock, what a way to relax! We arranged a couple of group activities with no problems. The fishing was great, with fresh Dorado for dinner who could complain, and with the town only five minutes away the ladies had all the shopping they could handle. The weather was perfect, and being from Chicago, we enjoyed thawing out on the beach and sipping margaritas and cervezas by the pool. We were looking at all inclusive vacation packages from Apple vacations, but we are glad we chose Flor del Mar. It was cheaper, more personable, and way more beautiful. We did however use one thing from Apple, we used the USA 3000 flight direct from Chicago to Huatulco. It was a direct and cheap flight which saved a lot of hassle. We will be returning to Huatulco and Flor del Mar very soon.

  My family and I rented Flor del Mar for an spectacular seven days. It was one of the most beautiful and relaxing vacations of our lives. The house was amazing, with breath taking vistas and equally stunning accommodations. Joan and the staff made us feel right at home, with great food, great fun, and great memories. Huatulco is our new Mexico destination!!! It is unlike anywhere in Mexico that I've been. Its perfect weather, its beautiful scenery, and its warm friendly people make it an very unique vacation spot. With a direct flight from Houston, via Continental Airlines, makes this prefect for us. We will be back for many years to come, and we highly recommend Flor del Mar for your stay.

  Flor Del Mar was perfect for our vacation. We wanted resort lifestyle without having to get up early in the morning and fighting the crowds just to get a spot by the pool or beach. We had our own private pool and the local beach is practically uninhabited with good snorkeling. Every meal was exquisite our hostess provided. She worked with us on our meal plan to tailor it to our needs and if we wanted to do the cooking or go out, that was no problem. Her home was our home and we were practically all family by the time we left. We will definitely be back.

  This home has it all. Peace, quiet, cool shade with breezes and tropical birds everywhere. Coffee served in the palapa at sunrise with a spectacular view of the bay. Great family atmosphere, two pools, hammocks, private beach. This treasure is exactly as described, but more. Very relaxing atmosphere and I cannot say how much we enjoyed the food served to us. Our hostess showed us several good restaurants during our stay, as well. We took several day tours, coffee plantation and the catamaran to the "bajias". Flor del Mar is a great homebase for exploring this special part of Mexico. Our hostess was gracious, well informed and a great cook! You cannot beat this value for family vacation. Our family plans to return again.

Flor del Mar BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1 Payment: 1.1 Bookings shall be confirmed in writing by Flor del Mar on payment of a deposit (said confirmation does not refer to the Booking Application Form). 1.2 Receipt of any deposit prior to Flor del Mar's written confirmation of the reservation shall not constitute acceptance of any booking. 1.3 The balance shall be payable thirty days prior to the commencement of the guests arrival. 1.4 Arrivals booked less than thirty days from its commencement will be paid in full upon booking. 1.5 All payments shall be made to Flor del Mar as stated at the top of the booking application form, by credit card via pay pal, money order or in cash only. 2. Use of the Property/Limitation of Liability: The Renter will use the property and its facilities in accordance with these Booking Terms and Conditions and the accompanying Booking Notes and will do so at his own risk. The Renter covenants to indemnify and save Flor del Mar and the Property Owner/Manager harmless from any claim for damages or costs which may be asserted against them by the family or guests of the Renter as a result of personal injury, sickness or death, or loss or damage to property, however caused, arising from the use of the property and its facilities. For himself, the Renter hereby releases and discharges Flor del Mar and the Property Owner/Manager harmless from any claim for damages or costs which may be asserted against them by him as a result of personal injury, sickness or death, or loss or damage to property, however caused, arising from use of the property and its facilities. The Renter accepts full responsibility for the use of any recreational equipment, such as boats, and motors, etc., and agrees to pay for any repairs or replacement of said equipment, other than for normal wear and tear. 3. Cancellation: Any cancellation made by the Renter shall be in writing addressed to the Company at the address stated at the top of the booking application form. On receipt of such notice of cancellation Flor del Mar shall endeavor to rebook the holiday accommodation for the entire period of the original booking. 3.1 The Renter acknowledges that he/she has been informed of the ability to purchase Holiday Cancellation Insurance at the time of booking, and that Flor del Mar does not provide this service directly. If the Cancellation Insurance was not purchased, or the reason for cancellation is not covered by the insurance company, (i.e. is not an insured risk), the following terms are applicable. 3.1a If Flor del Mar is successful in rebooking the holiday accommodation for the entire period originally booked it shall refund to the Renter all monies paid (whether deposit or full payment has been made) less a cancellation fee of $100.00 per period booked. 3.1b If Flor del Mar shall only succeed in rebooking the holiday accommodation for a portion of the period originally booked, it shall refund the monies paid relating to the period re-booked, less a cancellation fee of $100.00 per period booked. 3.1c If Flor del Mar shall be unable to rebook the holiday accommodation at all then all monies paid by the Renter (whether deposit or full payment has been made) shall be forfeited to Flor del Mar. 4. Alterations to Property Description/Inventory: The information contained in any printed and website materials are believed to be accurate at the time of printing/viewing. However, the Company reserves the right to make alterations there to and Flor del Mar shall endeavor to inform the Renter of such alterations. If the alterations relate to fundamental elements or services, Flor del Mar shall attempt to provide comparable fundamental elements or services. If these comparable elements or services prove unacceptable to the Renter Flor del Mar shall bear no responsibility other than to provide an appropriate refund for those unavailable fundamental elements or services. 4.1 Fundamental elements refer to water systems, plumbing and electrical systems, major appliances such as refrigerator and stove. 4.2 Fundamental elements do not refer to recreational items such as televisions, VCR's, or satellite dishes. These elements are provided at the discretion of the owner as an added feature for Renter use. While every attempt will be made to ensure that such equipment is in working order during a holiday, should breakdown or some other situation occur whereby these elements are not available for the term of the holiday, neither Flor del Mar nor the Property Owner/Manager takes responsibility for replacing or refunding the Renter for the lack of use of these elements. 5. Noise: Neither the Property Owner nor Flor del Mar can control - or be liable for - noise or disturbance caused by occupants of properties adjacent to or near the subject property, or their family or guests. 6. Drinking Water: All Renters are recommended to use treated drinking water, regardless of the water source of the property accommodation. Neither the Property Owner nor Flor del Mar takes any responsibility for the quality of the property drinking water source, or the quality of the water body the property is located upon. 7. Wildlife: Birds, iguanas, spiders, other insects and other forms of wildlife are found in and around properties from time to time. The Renter acknowledges that neither the Property Owner nor Flor del Mar can ensure that he will not encounter these aspects of property life during his occupancy. 8. Number of Persons Using the Holiday Accommodation: The number of persons present overnight (including children and guests) shall not exceed the maximum number indicated in the booking reservation. The number of persons present during the day (including children and guests) shall not exceed the maximum number indicated in the booking reservation, without prior authorization from Flor del Mar. 8.1 Renters who contravene the maximum number stated for each property will be subject to immediate eviction without refund or an additional nightly charge of $100.00 per person, at the discretion of Flor del Mar. 8.2 There will be no subletting of the property permitted. Where separate parties will be occupying the property at different time periods, booking forms must be completed for each party. 8.3 There shall be no camping, tenting, or otherwise placing auxiliary accommodation facilities on the property without prior written authorization. 9. Access: The Property Owner and/or Flor del Mar's agents shall be allowed access to holiday accommodation at any reasonable time during any holiday occupancy. 10. Repair: The Renter will keep the property and all furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects in the property or on the property at the beginning of his/her occupancy, in the same state of cleanliness, order and repair in which they were found. Failure to do so, to the satisfaction of the Property Owner, may result in cleaning costs, or repairs incurred by the Property Owner. 11. Smoking, & Other Conditions of Booking: Renters shall abide by the conditions of booking and any other instructions contained in the Property Instructions, Inventory Listing and/or as noted on the face of this form. All such conditions apply to guests visiting the property, whether day visitors or overnight. 11.1 Renters who contravene said conditions shall be subject to immediate eviction without refund and/or a penalty of $100.00 per day at the discretion of Flor del Mar. 12. Facsimile Agreement: The renter agrees that this agreement may be executed by facsimile transmission, or certified receipt email and that the original facsimile signatures will evidence the binding obligation of the parties to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. 13. For ease of drafting only, the Renter has been referred to in the singular and in the masculine gender. References to Renter shall be made in the singular and feminine gender, or in the plural, as the context may require. I have read, understand and agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions as set out above. I understand that the property owner(s)/manager, Flor del Mar will not be liable whatsoever for any loss or any injury to myself or anyone on or using the property or its’ property during my rental term, however caused. I acknowledge that when I have delivered this Booking Application Form to Flor del Mar, and a Booking Confirmation has been issued to me by Flor del Mar, I will have entered into a binding contract with the Property Owner/Manager, the conditions of which are set out in this Booking Application Form, the Booking Notes, and the Booking Terms and Conditions. I have read and understand all of this material.
