In addition, with skiing at Bousquet only 5 miles down the road, Butternut just 20 minutes away along with Jiminy Peak approximately 30 minutes away the skiing population will love this location!!

The Unique Benefits at this HouseThe quietude, of this lush property belies the fact of the amazingly central location it enjoys amongst all the wonderful Berkshire attractions.In fact, Tanglewood is literally a bike ride away. The house is about as comfortable as any home can be, affording privacy together with many family gathering places. It comes fully equipped with fishing rods, a tandem canoe, mountain bikes, board games and a good selection of novels. Sounds perfect? It is perfect!

My family had the pleasure of staying in this home for a week last August. It was perfect for us. The home is beautiful, and the grounds are lush and great for a toddler to run around. Beyond the home itself, the best part was the location. Richmond isn't one of the towns that people often think of when planning a Berkshires getaway, but it's perfectly located between Lenox and Pittsfield. It's minutes to Tanglewood, a short drive to Lee, and easy access to the grocery stores, museums, great playgrounds, and other necessities in Pittsfield. I hope to stay here again some day!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

I had the pleasure of staying in this lovely house recently with my husband and 3 small children.The location is quiet, but very close to everything. The house has a very relaxed and elegant interior - it felt like a special place to be during our week away. We enjoyed playing in the yard, eating on the big deck, snuggling up and watching movies in the big living room, cooking in the beautiful kitchen, and my husband and I could even get some peace and quiet in the sitting room. The owners are gracious and thoughtful; the house is very well organized. We've stayed in many rentals in the Berkshires and have always loved Richmond most of all. This house has become our new favorite spot.
