Why the Owner Chose East Beach
My husband and I bought our St Simon's house the year we were married (2001) and have enjoyed spending time there with our two children. We both enjoyed St Simon's with our families as children and are continuing the tradition with our own children.
It is a wonderful escape from Atlanta which is our full time residence.
The Unique Benefits at this House

We stayed at Heaven of Eighth in August of 2010 and July of 2011. The house is comfortable, homey and very well kept. Decorated beautifully too. The marsh sunsets are stunning and the short walk to the beach is easy. The house is stocked with not only all the linens and kitchen ware, but well stocked with beach toys and chairs. The wheeled cart is a great plus for taking everything down to the beach! The bikes were wonderful for biking around town! Owners are very friendly and responsive!

3 Attorneys and 1 CPA shared this spacious and lovely home for 3 nights in early October. The marsh view was wonderful all day long, especially at sundown. Quite a little walk to the beach, but well worth it. Nice bike paths from there to almost everywhere. Privacy, inside and out. Comfy beds; 2 of them Kings, which was a must for us. Great dining space. Well equipped kitchen. Clean throughout. Wonderful art work and decorating. The bikes were fun to use & saved us $ not having to rent. Well worth the $. You won't regret going to this place.

Our family of six loved this home! Clean, impeccably decorated but comfortable, with all the amenties you would need. Great East Beach property with beautiful marsh views and an easy walk to the beach. The beach was amazing and our kids had loads of fun digging sand castles, catching hermit crabs, and collecting shells. We will definitely return to St. Simons again!

Ken and Deborah from Augusta,Ga. Review Submitted: April 2011 We had a wonderful vacation in your home. Waking up to beautiful views of the marsh and peaceful surroundings was a great way to start our day. We feel that East Beach is the best area of SSI. Being away from the crowds is a plus, but only a short distance to the beach, Gould's Inlet, and the Village. The house having a spacious floorplan was accommodating for all of our guests. We have enjoyed our many visits and plan to return again soon. Ken and Deborah Augusta, Ga.

Such a great location and charming home! Review Submitted: August 24, 2010 Date of Stay: August 2010 My girlfriends and I went to St. Simons and stayed at "Heaven on Eighth" for a college reunion of sorts. We absolutely loved the house especially the sunset views and the close proximity to the beach. I grew up going to my grandmother's beach house just 6 houses away, so staying at "Heaven on Eighth" brought back fond memories of my childhood. We had 4 cars that all fit perfectly in the driveway and all 8 of us slept comfortably. The summer kitchen was great for coffee in the morning and late night snacks after fun-filled evenings in the Village. We spent a lot of time at the beach and because of the beach buggy it was EASY to get to and from with ALL of our stuff. "Heaven on Eighth" is a peaceful place with the marsh on one side and a vacant lot on the other; great for a big group of people looking for a home away from home for a few days. With its proximity to everything we were looking to do, amazingly roomy accomodations, and breathtaking views, "Heaven on Eighth" made our girls weekend a true success!! We will be back!
