Brand New La Ropa Condo Directly Behind La Perla

  We stayed here for a week over Thanksgiving 2012 and had a great time. It's not directly on the beach - but it's a very short walk - 5 minutes or so to the beach. We liked the location, the condo was clean and new. No dishwasher, and no elevators and on 2nd floor - didn't bother us except carrying up suitcases/groceries. I went with a 1 year old and it worked really well for us -beautiful pool right there and easy to walk back for naptime. And Liz had a pack and play to boot! Was very quiet, and the beach wasn't too crowded. We used the beach chairs/umbrellas at La Perla every day, which I think was only 50 pesos or so for the whole day - and could order drinks/food also. We at a few different restaurants along the beach - all were good - also it was easy/convenient to cook in. The guard can call a taxi for you to go into town or to the supermarket. The neighbor who helps out in taking care of the condo was very helpful and prompt with any problems/questions. And the complex seems very well maintained. We had a great, relaxing vacation!

  Thanks Liz for a great 2.5 week stay in Jan 2011!! Condo has everything needed to be considered comfortable and completely stocked with everthing you need...clean and perfect livingroom furniture to stretchout and relax after a day at the beach!! La Ropa Beach a 2 minute safe and level stroll across the street, close enough to hear the waves at night while sitting on the patio! Tons of great restaurants within an easy short walk or Centro Zihua for a mere $40 Pesos. Found most folks at the Complex very helpful, friendly and eager to assist. The Owner "Liz" was excellent to deal with, very prompt with all emails, a real pleasure to deal with!! Would certainly plan another trip back next winter.....Zihua truly is a Gem and thier is nothing finer then La Ropa Beach and Los Mangos!!! Book and enjoy!!

  My husband, two boys and mother-in-law stayed here for 5 nights. It was in a perfect location right near Playa La Ropa. The owner was incredibly responsive and provided me with so much information about the condo and local flavor. I had no trouble navigating during our stay because she had clearly articulated everything prior to our arrival. Security was very helpful with our luggage and everyday questions. The condo is lovely. Tastefully decorated and has everything you and your family could ask for. My toddler even had a pack n' play to sleep in! One less piece of luggage we had to bring. We cooked in quite a bit since downtown has this vibrant produce market everyday. The kitchen is stocked with every appliance and kitchen utensil you will need. Everything is clean and brand new. There is a pool for all guests to use and it's to die for! You can do laps, relax on the chairs and there is a wade pool for kids. The residents are super friendly and welcoming. The beach is literally right across the street. You can choose from several great restaurants or take a boat to Las Gatas a small beach just beyond Playa La Ropa and sip on some amazing tropical drinks, get a massage or just relax with some new scenery. This is a magical place and this condo was a gem of a find. We will most certainly return. The owners have definitely spent a good amount of time here as they know what a family needs to be comfortable during their stay and their suggestions of what to do and where to eat were right on! You can not go wrong at Los Mangos in Zihuatanejo! Many thanks again Liz!

  The condo was clean and quiet with a beautiful pool. A short 200 yard walk to romantic restaurants and the breath taking Zihuatanejo beach. The condo has 24 hour security at the controlled gate entrance so it is exceedingly safe. A quick cab ride to all the shopping, sites and culture of downtown Zihuatanjo this condo balances seclusion and safety with convenience.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, pet owners, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.
