Our home has three bedrooms and 2 full baths. The master bedroom has a king bed and a small loveseat that converts to a bed. The other bedroom upstairs has a queen bed and a full bed. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed. We also have 2 roll away twin sleepers perfect for children. The living room is two story with a wood burning stove. The enclosed screened porch overlooks the golf course. Also, have a outside grilling deck with gas grill. The house has all the modern amenities, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer, air/heat, satellite TV/stereo. There is also a fire pit for marshmallows and story telling. It is on a 1 acre private wooded lot but close to so many attractions. 300 yards from a private association only beach for the neighborhood.

This home had everything--lots of room, peace and quiet, clean and beautiful interior. Close access to Lake, has stunning beach view of lake bluffs. It was the perfect retreat for our family!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We enjoyed a lovely Columbus Day weekend at this home. The house comfortably accommodated 2 couples + 3 children (5-8 years old). Jennifer was very helpful and easy to rent from. The children loved playing with the frogs in the pond and exploring the woods. The highlight of their stay was roasting marshmallows on the bonfire. There was plenty nearby to do during the fall--apple picking, South Haven stores, and beautiful beaches.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at this house. I grew up in the area and since moved away more than 15 years ago. It was the perfect retreat from the hustle of the busy city. It reminded my family and me why we are so fond of Southwest Michigan. The accommodations were perfect. Other members of our family were able to visit us during our stay which made this more enjoyable since we have some aging family members that we have not seen in quite some time. My family and I hope that this home is available for next year’s reunion. We are already calling this “Our Home away from Home”!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

We had the pleasure of staying in this home in July. There were 8 of us and it was extremely comfortable. It was a short walk to the beach and the boys enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. The beds were so comfortable and we really appreciated the beach toys and rollaway beds. The bathroom upstairs was awesome! Booking for Summer 2013-South Haven!! Memorial Day through Labor Day. Summer has horseback riding,private beach, shopping, dining and golf. Rates: Memorial Day-Labor Day we rent on a weekly basis-Fri-Fri $2100 If the home has not rented 3 weeks prior to a date we will rent for less than a week, with a min of 3 nights-$300 a night. Also, we require a $250 security deposit, refundable after checkout/inspection. After Labor Day we rent on a nightly basis.

Year Purchased: 1999
About the owner: Greg and I bought this home in 1999 when it was new construction. Greg grew up in beautiful Michigan and wanted to have a place there for our four children to enjoy. We love all that Southwest Michigan offers; beach, dunes, golf, great restaurants, shopping and relaxing. It is a great place to go to get away from everyday life.

We bought in this location because South Haven is so beautiful with so much to do for the entire family.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
When we are in South Haven we love to go to the beach or golf. We love grilling out and eating on the screened in porch. We like to go to one of the many farmers markets and get fresh fruits and vegetables. We love going on walks and sitting around the bonfire at night toasting marshmallows.
