Just a 28 minute drive from Coeur d'Alene and 5 minutes by car or boat to Carlin Bay Resort which has a full service restaurant and live music on week-ends. The quiet little town of Harrison is 15 minutes by car or boat and offers many weekend activities including bike rental for exploring the Trail of the Coeurd'Alene's. This is an incredible bike trail that has 72 miles of paved trails that will take you from high mountain splendor, to the chain of lakes. This is an easy trail for any level of biker. A must do!!

Beautiful house. Many memories made. Owners delightful. Would stay again in a heartbeat. The best Lake Coeur d' Alene has to offer.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

We stayed for a week in early October 2011...and it was the best! Location is great and views are stunningly beautiful. Rooms inside the house are so comfortable. The deck is amazing -- there's a terrific gas grill outside. The only problem you'll encounter is the depression that sets in after you have to leave. We most definitely want to do it again!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car.

We had an amazing time at the beautiful "cabin" or what we would call a home. The place was clean and beautifully funished. Very comfortable for our family. The view and sunsets were awesome with dinner coming late in the day as we were having to much fun in the late afternoopn sun. Thanks for a great summer vacation. About the owner: We were born and raised in the CDA area and have been property owners on the lake for over 18 years. We have our home in Post Falls and have 2 grown children.
Why the Owner Chose Carlin Bay:
I love Lake Coeurd'Alene and always dreamed of owning lake property. My dream came true 18 years ago. We love the warmth and sun so a home on the East side of the lake was perfect for us.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
A perfect day at the lake starts with a quiet walk along the 300 foot private beach, followed by breakfast on the oversized deck looking south down the entire length of the lake. Watch for the resident bald eagle to pass by on his way to his fishing perch. The day continues with water sports or relaxing in one of 5 different areas from sand, grass, patio, deck or dock and all offer either sun or shade areas. Evening brings a beautiful sunset with a great glass of wine and BBQ. Finish the night with a bon fire and roasted marshmallows. Ahhhhh. . . . paradise.
