  We just returned from a short stay in the three-bedroom unit on the main floor. We were very comfortable with four adults and two young children, and we were especially happy with the super short walk to the beach. It was very nice to only lug our beach things and two kids about half a block before we climbed the dune to the shore. The owner was very kind, answering my many, many questions right away and made it easy to rent. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the house and very much appreciated the menus (good pizza recommendation!) on the cork board. We'd love to do this next summer too!

  What a wonderful vacation! We stayed in the middle unit for a week in June. The unit looked just as we expected from the pictures- spacious and very clean. We have five children, 12 years to 17 months, and everyone had a great time. There was plenty of room for everyone and everything. The beach was so close that we literally walked only a block before our feet hit the sand. Days were spent at the beach, and in the evenings we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and grilling out. During the week the beach was not crowded at all. And even on the weekend, though there were more people, our beach was still less crowded. We would highly recommend this property to others. Michigan City is a great place for fun in the sun. After driving from southern Indiana, we can’t wait to return next summer!

  I can't say enough good things about our recent stay. My son and my girlfriend and her son and I stayed for a week in the main floor 3 BR unit and we can't wait to make another summer getaway in the coming years. The house has everything you need for a week at the beach. We drove 5 hours from the Louisville area and it sure beats a 10 hour drive to the Gulf of Mexico. The owners are very easy to work with and are happy to answer any questions. Chicago is only an hour away and we enjoyed making two trips to Chicao to catch a Cubs game and hang out at Navy Pier and Michigan Ave.

  We had a wonderful stay in the basement unit. We did not feel as though we were in the basement - each room had at least one window. The owners were very accomodating! Everything was so clean and quiet. It was great to be within walking distance of the beach. THANKS!
