Glynn Cottage is a luxurious new custom beach home located just a few steps from the Atlantic Ocean. It is located in the award winning Coast Cottage neighborhood ....complete with two gated oceanside pools, a pavilion with two baths and a gated boardwalk leading to the wide beach. Glynn Cottage is a spacious three story house equipped with an elevator serving from ground level to all floors, living room, dining room and separate den/ 5th bedroom, three bedrooms each with a king-sized bed and a private bath. The fourth bedroom has two sets of bunk beds and a private bath that also opens to the hallway. The second level is very open and spacious where the gourmet kitchen opens to the living and dining areas so that. everyone can gather in one comfortable space. Our kitchen has Kitchenaid appliances with granite counters and maple cabinets. There is also a powder room. The front and back porches on this level are fully furnished with table and chair sets for serving meals....views are phenomenal!! The master bedroom located on the third level has a private balcony for beach and ocean viewing as well as a morning bar, and his and her separate closets. This stunning master bathroom boasts a large footed soaking tub and separate shower as well as two separate vanities with sinks. Each of the four baths are custom with natural stone, granite or marble counter tops and shower seats. A spiral stairway leads from the third level hallway to a roof top deck with panoramic views of the beach, Jekyll, Cumberland and Sea Islands....sunbathing at its best! Beautiful mouldings, high ceilings and dark oak floors complete the Glynn Cottage. Music is wired throughout the house, including the porches. In addition, there is an outside shower for rinsing off the sand when you come in from the beach!! We think you'll love our home as much as we do and will want to return again and again.
Wonderful restaurants, fishing, golfing, biking and sight seeing await you for a truly memorable vacation. There are several parks nearby, including a water park, as well as, the Pier, St. Simons Lighthouse, library and theatre. There is no better place to be!
Bedding includes: 1 king in master with spacious bath, 2 first floor bedrooms with kings and private baths and 1 first floor bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds and private bath that also opens to the hall. Additional first floor den with sofa bed and doors for privacy. Maximum occupancy is 12. No parties, student groups or wedding events, please.

This was our 7th trip to SSI, and for good reason. We LOVE the island and all its natural beauty and grandeur. We typically stay in a nice condominium on the beach but decided to change things up a bit for this vacation. We contacted the owners of Glynn Cottage and made our reservations… From the very first communication with our hospitable hosts, to the moment we gathered our belongings and sadly headed back home, we were nothing shy of thrilled and delighted with "Our Cottage" on St. Simon's Island. Glynn Cottage was extraordinarily warm and welcoming. We felt right at home…right away! The cottage was very clean and bright and had all the comforts and amenities of the finest accommodations available. We were pleased with every facet of our stay at Glynn Cottage and have already called back to discuss reservations for our next trip. I would recommend Glynn Cottage to anyone, and will definitely stay here again! What a memorable 2012 vacation!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Glynn Cottage is truly the perfect place to enjoy St. Simons Island! We had three couples down for a few days leading up to the New Year and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.The home is simply beautiful and having three large bedrooms w/king-size beds and private baths offered perfect privacy for each couple. The large living area and kitchen worked out great for our time together. The views from all of the different balconies were spectacular! The owner is super nice and so easy to work with. We can't wait to visit this home again and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit St. Simons.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

I just wish we were aware of your cottage before this year. Our personal likes: close to the beach and pools. Parking "head on" for three autos. Elevator you are willing to allow guests to use. The floor plan is great! The First Floor was perfect in its layout for all our clan to sleep comfortably. The Second Floor was roomy and perfect for us all to be together. My wife and I had the Third Floor, our Private Suite upstairs. The gas tank on the grill was full...never seen that before!! Loved the keyless entry.
