The location to the Water, Beach Clubs, Restaurants, History, Day Trip To Cozumel And Maybe The Best Street Nn Latin America On 5th Ave.-- its kind've like walking through two miles of Circus Soleil--just flat out FUN to walk in the evening. No car needed as its pretty well a short walk to everything. The people are happy and respectful and certainly it's a very safe and secure city.

The Caribbean is just around the corner---walk another 80yds. and have a fabulous hour massage right by the water for an astounding $20.!!! then follow that up with an afternoon of walking the beach and being served drinks and food under your own private Palapa. Our rooftop pool is quiet, very clean, water views, shower and washrooms. The building is extremely well taken care of, 24/7 security, and after the hot Mexican sun you'll appreciate how cool and shaded the unit feels when you arrive home. Take a short nap and get ready to head out to 5th ave. for the time of your life. After a visit to Playa we fell in love with the city then very gradually we became addicted to the town. We love it and know you'll love the place and want to come back---we'll do our best to make it a great vacation for you and your family.

Dear Mike and Isabel. Sorry these comments are so late coming. Wanted to thank you both for sharing your condo. It was everything we had hoped for. Because we had stayed at The Meridian before, we knew what to expect. However, your place was so much more! Everything we needed was available. The fans in the master bathroom and master bathroom are a great touch. The photos were exactly what we found. The property was clean and so well decorated, we felt we were at home. Our 3 weeks was excellent with great weather, food and beverages. We loved your condo and the fact that it was located on the second floor. We returned from the beach every afternoon and had cool beverages on the large wrap around balcony. Corner units are the best! Our guest really enjoyed her room and the privacy of her own bathroom. It worked out really well. We returned to our favourite restaurants (Pommerello on 24th - now reopened on your street again we hear, El Emporio on 38th between 5th and 10th, Origenes on 38th near the beach where you can now bring your own wine at no charge - nice touch) and found new ones (Da GiGi, Babes Noodle and Bar & the Mexican restaurant at the corner of 30th & Constituyentes (across from the Mega). Thank you so much for the recommendation of La Cueva del Chango and for answering our many questions while we were getting ready for our trip. We hope you will still be renting your condo next year as we may want to return - for a longer stay! Thanks again.

We had three couples staying at this condo and it fit us perfectly! Watching the sunrise from the pooltop swimming pool was a great way to start the day. The beds were all very comfortable and the couple that drew the short straw and got the pull out sofa bed even commented on how confortable it was.We loved the fact that it is located at the north end of Playa del Carmen which means more room on the beach to spread out but still within walking distance to all of 5th ave and beyond. A "Must try" is Cueva Del Chango for breakfast, 2 minute walk from the condo, perfect every time. We have done the "All Inclusive" vacations and if I was to go back to the Dominican or Puerto Rico, I would probably do an All-Inclusive again, but for the Playa area, there is no way we will ever do an all-inclusive. We always felt very safe and the people are so friendly and genuine and the food at most of the restaurants is outstanding. There is just no reason to go there and stay at the same resort and eat the same food and do the same thing everyday for your entire vacation. We rented a van and drove to Tulum, another day we went to Cozumel, another day we went Ziplining and another day we went to Akumal. When we got back to the condo each night it felt like home, not just a hotel room. Thank you Mike and Isabelle, we could not have asked for a better vacation.

Just spent a week in this spectacular condo and my first reaction was wow! Everything you could possibly need in a great place to stay is found in this condo; from spectacular beds, linens and towels; to beach chairs, to a modern washer and dryer, fully appointed kitchen, huge dinning room , wireless Interest and more. The owners have thought of every single detail and the location is amazing. A block east to the spectacular Shangr-La beach; a block West to LaQuinta (5th Avenue) where all the restaurants, shops and people watching are happening. And the best part is that the property is opposite the tranquil forested canopy of 6 acre property of quietness! That means sleep is delicious and the morning birds your only wake up call!
