We had a fabulous time at #302 Nohonani. We really enjoyed the condo and the beach right out front with the turtle and whale watching. This is a great condo with a good location. The view from the lanai was amazing! I was a little worried when i realized that the condo didn't have air conditioning but found that it wasn't needed with the ocean breeze. The fresh air flowing through the condo was wonderful! We saw turtles and whales from the lanai. That was a real treat! Miranda was great to deal with. Very helpful and easy to get a hold of. I would definitely recommend this condo. The only downside for us is that we couldn't stay longer!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We spent four days here and enjoyed them tremendously. We loved listening to the surf, especially at night and enjoyed watching the turtles play on the reef right outside our window. The unit is comfortable, though the second bedroom is somewhat noisy (street noise) and the light outside the window stays on all night. The kitchen is well stocked and very attractive, but rather hot...no windows. We had a problem with the ceiling fan, but when we called the property manager, they sent someone up within an hour to fix it. The condo is in a good location...close to Lahaina...excellent beach right out back. The pool is clean and refreshing. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Despite the lack of reviews on vrbo, and despite my overwhelming selfishness to keep this gem private and to myself for future rentals, I'm compelled to describe Nohonani 302 for you. Quite simply, it's much, much better than advertised. The pictures do not do the unit justice. It's even more spacious and comfortable than the pictures indicate. The lanai is dazzling. You will see turtles on the shore of the private beach every day, nearly all day. There's a natural reef about 100 feet out, and the water is roughly waist high for an adult to that point. There are 3 BBQs available, 2 are obvious near the pool and the 3rd is at the south end of the property. I used the 3rd one multiple times without a wait. The pool itself, while small, is always clean and refreshing. There are only 28 units in all of Nohonani. There were several times when the pool area was just myself, my wife and my mother-in-law. It's quiet, private and extraordinarily relaxing. It's in Honokowai, which is a short trip in the car, a quick jaunt on a scooter or even bike ride or walk away from the major things to do and see in West Maui. It's close to the Farmer's Market, which is a real treat. It's right down the street from incredible food, including the Ono Tacos stand, which I absolutely recommend. Maui Brewing Company is just over a mile away; the list goes on and on. Miranda is the property manager for the unit, and she personally ensured all of our needs were met during our stay. I can tell you with certainty that we will consider unit 302 at Nohonani as our very first option on future trips to Maui.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
