  What a great time we had staying at the Hangout House. The house is adorable. You can see the ocean from every room in the house expect the spare bedroom. We loved how the living room and kitchen flowed together and the view was fantastic. The house is designed so you get the true hawaiian feel. Ocean breezes kept the house very comfortable. The covered lanai was perfect. We enjoyed coffee each morning on the lanai and the sunsets were so beautiful in the evenings.. Many times after a tropical shower would pass by a beautiful rainbow was seen from our lanai. The North Shore is the place to stay while in Oahu. Thanks for a wonderful stay and we look forward to our return visit.

  This was paradise for the whole family, ages 7 to 81. Breathtaking ocean views, beautiful beach right out the back door (perfect for swimming, snorkling, surfing, beach-combing), wonderful walking/biking trails right out the front gate, ocean breezes through the house, beautiful trees and flowers everywhere, far away from crowds but close enough to tourist sites for quick day trips. Ten days was not enough!

  We spent 10 days here at the begiining of June 2010. Just what we were looking for. Right on the beach, private, clean and well appointed. We have rented a lot of houses and condos on each of the islands over the past 25 years and this is our favorite The lenai was spacious and offered the most stunning view of the surf, beach and sunsets. Great surfing, swimming and snorkeling right in front of the house. We only left the property and beach to get groceries and shaved ice. Just a small set of stairs up from the beach with an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. The house was well equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, linens, and lots of great touches. Loved the sliding glass doors to the lanai and how wide they opened so the house felt open and airy. The first couple of days the surf was higher than usual for the summer and the sights and sounds were just magnificent. The rest of the time it was much lower and great for our 8 year old to play in the water. Was up early each morning for a long walk down the beach and spent every sunset on the lanai looking for the elusive green flash. Perfect!

  Real Hawaii ana house. You can enjoy the beach from the covered Lani, lay in the sun or under the iron wood tree in front of the house. View from the Lani unobstructed from Sunset to Rock Piles.Hawaii vacation at its best. Try Sharks Cove for great food. Starbuck"s and Sharks Cove only minutes away. Great bike and Walking path.
