We are four college friends who live in different cities on the East Coast and this was a perfect meeting place for us to have a reunion. The house is gorgeous and definitely not "rustic" by my standards. Well equipped and furnished with some lovely artwork. It is secluded without being in the middle of nowhere. Hari was great to work with and we'll be back again! The only thing that surprised us (but we didn't mind) is that it is literally next to a ski resort which is perfect if you are looking to ski!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

A wonderful experience--the house is very well maintained, in a beautiful location and close to both Greenwood Lake and Warwick. Hari's place is lovely inside and out and the wood burning stove was a treat on an ultra cold snowy night. We will definitely be back.Owner response: Looking forward to having you back! Cheers, Hari

We spent last weekend at Hari's cabin in Warwick, and everything was beyond perfect. The house is really cute, well-designed, and spacious. Everything was extremely clean, and Hari took the time to clearly label the contents of different cabinets and closets, which was a very considerate touch. We also especially enjoyed the fireplace after playing outside in Old Mount Peter's freezing snow! Hari was prompt and kind in all of our correspondences, even making some stellar recommendations of places to visit during our trip (go to the Iron Forge Inn-- we loved our dinner there so much, we went back for brunch the next day!). Hari seems genuinely concerned with making sure visitors enjoy their stays, and he was super attentive to the few questions we had. Warwick is a lovely town and staying at Hari's cabin was fantastic. We would recommend it to anyone!Owner response: I'm so glad you had a wonderful visit. Look forward to hopefully having you visit again.

Our family was so thrilled with our summer vacation at Warwick that we recently returned to stay for a week during the winter break. Our two daughters aged 6 and 4 had endless activities to do in both seasons. Hari suggested a list places to visit with children including farms (throughly recommend the breakfast at Rogowski's farm), local swimming spots, and the Bellvale Ice creamery during the summer and of course the cabin could not be situated any closer to the Mt. Peter ski slope during winter. The house/cabin was simply perfect for our family - spacious, (complete with toy room!) and private garden views. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need complete with a separate dining area and lovely lounge area by the wood burring stove - very relaxing after a day in the snow. The grill and spacious terrace with mountain views was perfect for the summer. Our kids were absolutely delighted by the local wildlife including dear, chipmunks, fireflies and we even saw a groundhog near the shed. Hari was fantastic to deal with and very helpful on all fronts. We will definitely be returning again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+.
Owner response: so great to have you back.

What a wonderful weekend in Warwick! We wanted a place that was close to NYC, but I did not realize how beautiful it could be. The home was cozy and comfortable. We bought wood at the local grocery store and had fires every night. We loved that there was no TV and could enjoy each other's company in peace. The yard is amazing and just a few moments away is a ski lodge. It was a wonderful place to see the view. And during the day we hiked, went apple picking, visited the farmers market, and ate really well! The owner had excellent recommendations for things to do, places to go, and food to eat! I wish we could go back every weekend.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/2

We returned again this past summer for our second stay at this peaceful, spacious getaway. The owner's pictures accurately reflect the home's appearance and setting, which was clean and well-maintained. This is the perfect space for our family. The main floor layout with living room, kitchen and playroom flowing into each other with bathroom and encircling front and back porches allows us all both proximity and space. The surrounding woods offer wild-life viewing during the day and star-gazing at night. The house is close to the town playground and library, shopping, dining, and farmers' market. The property owner and manager are very sincerely kind and especially attentive to our feedback and needs. Prior to our first visit last year, the owner sent us very welcoming, informative and detailed information about the house and activities and dining in the surrounding area, which really enhanced our stay. We are already planning our next visit.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.
Owner response: We love having you back - look forward to seeing you again soon. Cheers, Hari

My husband and i wanted an easy gateaway for the long weekend. We wanted to bring our 2 year old to the country side. This lovely chalet was just what we needed, very private and cozy. Our daughter had a great playroom which was huge bonus. The area is beautiful, many things to do. We look forward to go back when its colder so we can use the wood stove. The booking process could not have been easier. Thank you!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, age 55+.
Owner response: Catherine, I am delighted that you had a relaxing time with your daughter. We really look forward to seeing you in the fall / winter season. Best, Hari

Great getaway! Our stay was short and last minute but the booking process was quick and smooth. The cabin itself is charming.......clean & comfortable. Everything in the kitchen was neatly labelled so no guessing games. The location is quiet and even though there are some houses nearby we never saw nor heard anyone.....which is exactly what we wanted. Wish we had more time to lounge with a book on the hammock - and our fave part, our 10 month old had a playroom all to himself! Big bonus :)Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.
Owner response: We are very glad that you had a pleasant stay. Look forward to having you back. Cheers, HC

We stayed for 12 days and absolutely loved the house. It was comfortable and friendly, the porches were fantastic and we found a dozen places to hike and swim. We grilled fresh fish and vegetables every night. Storm King Arts Center is nearby as well. The owner and the property manager were both helpful and very, very nice. We can't wait to go back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: It was a pleasure to have you stay. Look forward to having you again at the house. Have a great summer!!
