This is more than a vacation rental!
THE ARTISTIC EXPERIMENT: A r t A p a r t R o m e was born from the idea of the owner (a young engineer and art lover) and a young Roman artist.
Inspired to the Ancient Romans' concept of making the house an art piece, A r t A p a r t R o m e is an "artistic experiment" and the result of the cooperation of 4 artists from different nationalities who made a unique piece of art out of every space of this beautiful apartment.
THE APARTMENT: A r t A p a r t R o m e is a 150 square meters (1614 s.f.) apartment. It was renewed in Spring 2010 with the intention of giving our guests the best combination of space and functionality, in order to accommodate up to 7 guests with all comforts.
3 spacious bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a dining room, the fully equipped kitchen and the balcony: in every room, as well as at the entrance and in the corridor, you will find original pieces of art that will make your stay here a unique experience.
LOCATION: A r t A p a r t R o m e is the ideal vacation rental for families with children or a group of friends who want to come to Rome for living the city as the Romans do.
Located in a very silent street of the prestigious Parioli neighborhood, A r t A p a r t R o m e is perfectly connected with metro (the station "Euclide" is just 5 minutes walk and 1 stop only from Piazza del Popolo) and buses (bus #52 takes you directly to Trevi's Fountain and near by the main sites; bus #910 takes you directly to Termini Central Station). Also a Taxi Station is just 150m from the apartment.
Its strategic location offers plenty of options to our guests beside reaching easily the main monuments and archaeological sights.
The Auditorium and Music Park is just walking distance as well as the National Gallery of Modern Arts, the MAXXI (the brand new museum of contemporary arts) and the Park of Villa Glory (perfect for a walk in the green or for jogging).
Also the famous Museum of Galleria Borghese is just 2km from the apt.
Finally, the area is full of great and famous restaurants as well as wine and cocktail bars.
You liked our A r t A p a r t R o m e but you need more sleeps or space? We have an other apt. and a B&B in the same building, so feel free to ask us when sending you inquire.

Amazing Apartment Experience

What a find! The apartment was even more spacious than the online information indicated. Every room was so creatively decorated and immaculately clean. Andrea is a true gentleman and was a pleasure to deal with. His recommendations on local dining as well as help with finding overnight accomodations in Firenze were superb. I have already recommended the apartment to my cousin (an artist herself) who is planning a trip to Rome later this year. Grazie di tutto!
Owner response:Thank you Gabrielle for your good word. I really appreciated your comment! All the best and I hope to see you and your family next time.

My family and I stayed at the art apartment in Rome and were completely satisfied. We were close to the metro and had a place we could call "home" during our stay in Rome. The washer made it easier to pack less and the kitchen had everything we needed to make any kind of meal we wanted. Beds were good size and mattresses were firm. A/C was nice and cool. Andrea and Marco were very helpful with directions and booking local activities. We would definitely stay there again.

In July of 2011, our family stayed at the a r t a p a r t r o m e in Rome. The apartment was much larger then the photos indicated and immaculately clean. Also, the layout was great for our large family, 2 adults and 4 kids, 11, 8, 7, and 3. There was ample space for everyone to have a place to relax in the evenings and for some of the meals we ate at 'home”. The air-conditioning worked well and was much appreciated after a hot day in the sun. The location worked well for our family, but you are a little bit out of walking distance from the sites. We had no problem with the train and appreciated the quite evenings during the height of tourist season. On a small note...I really appreciated that they left some of the basic supplies, dish soap, salt, pepper, olive oil etc... So many rentals clear everything out and having these little extras there was really is thoughtful. I also loved that there was a DVD player that would play Dvds from the us and a nice size TV. Again...very thoughtful and comfortable, especially for the little ones. Overall, this was an excellent rental and I hope to return again with my family.

My wife and I with our 5 children (ages 18 thru 6) made a family trip to Rome. Our stay was an unforgettable trip, and artapart really made a difference. Very good distribution and location, ample bedrooms with really good matresses (important to rest well and recover after a long day). Bus 52 stops 20 meters from the house (we took it every day to return; for going to visit better walk down to Euclide and take the 910 bus to Termini or the subway to Flaminio, where you can take the metro). The apartment has everything you need to cook, eat, wash... only missing a dishwasher. The air conditioning was wonderful. The terrace very nice for dining outside after the day visit. Very convenient Carrefour Express nearby. Thank you Marco for your hospitality and for your explanations and recommendations for restaurants. Thanks also to Elia for driving us from Fiumicino at a really late time.

Fabulous, spacious, immaculately clean, temporary home in Rome. Easy access to tourist areas, yet feel like a local. Loved the artwork, the search for the hidden cats and the skeleton in the closet. Larger refrigerator and dishwasher would make long term stays for 6 more appealing. Also could use more hooks for hanging towels. Would definitely stay again. Worked very well for 3 couples.

The service was very welcoming and helpful. Arriving by car in the dark and in the middle of the rush hour was not a good idea but andrea kindly and patiently guided us in. The apartment is big and spacious and great with two bathrooms. Extremely clean, smart and tidy. We were two adults and four children (4-13 in ages). The biggest plus has to be the location. It is one stop away from the centre of town on the suburban train service and literally takes 2-3 minutes to walk to the station and then 3-5 minutes by train. It is great to have the flexibility to get into town but also escape to calmer seas at the end of the day. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Art Apart. It was a wonderful apartment and we all enjoyed it. We also liked the quite neighborhood and the Euclid circle. We found a couple of very nice cafes, bars and restaurants, all within easy walking distance. We really liked that it was away from the tourist areas. We would absolutely recommend it and we look forward to our next trip to Rome.

This was our first time to Italy & we couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome. For our family of 5(2 of them teenage boys) this apartment was perfect. The apartment was clean & well presented, bedrooms were large with comfortable beds, everything we needed in a kitchen, supermarkets & great restaurants nearby. The kids loved the artwork,as did we.Bus stop & train station were close & with Marco's help easy to navigate.Marco was always easily contactable by phone & helped us with any queries.(arranging transfers)It's just 1 train stop from Piazza del Popolo & then you can walk to all of Rome's main attractions.Definately try the local restaurant Ambasciata d'Abruzzo,it was our best meal in Rome. Thanks Marco & Andrea for making our stay in Rome so enjoyable, we will be back to stay with you again.
