Our river front home is located in the town of Denton on Maryland's Eastern Shore. The house is situated on a 1 acre wooded lot on a quiet section of the Choptank River. The area is rustic and is perfect for nature lovers as well as boaters. Area wildlife include ospreys and eagles as well as other waterfowl. Our deep water dock (25 mlw) is perfect for boaters as well as those that enjoy kayaking, canoeing, and swimming. There is an excellent boat ramp one half mile down river.
Historic St. Michael's is a 40 minute drive away where you will find shops, a winery, maritime museum, and restaurants where you can enjoy authentic Chesapeake seafood. Delaware and Maryland beaches are a 45+ drive away for those interested in the boardwalk.
The house has a large dining area that will accommodate multiple family get-togethers as well as a family room with cable TV/DVD and a den. The bedrooms are spacious and allow for any number of sleeping arrangements. The second TV/DVD is located in the master bedroom. Outdoors, a picnic table is located near the dock under a shady grove of trees. A great getaway!

This place was amazing. We had 8 people staying here, and we all fit comfortably. The owners were very kind and helpful. They made sure that the house was clean and ready well before we arrived. The area was pretty scenic, and we all loved the private dock on the river, as well as the spacious backyard. I would recommend this house to anyone.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

The house was comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed the large dining area and fireplace. The river front and dock area behind the house is a great view and cool place to bring the gang for a bonfire. The beds were alittle too firm for our taste but we would come stay again. The owners were very helpful and pleasant!Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, families with teenagers.
