We have stayed at this property several times over the past five or six years and have always enjoyed it. It was always in great shape and well-maintained. The listing photos always reflected the rental's appearance and amenities. The owner whom we have dealt with many times has always been very cordial and helpful in answering our questions or concerns. We would (and have) recommended this condo to several friends and relatives and will continue to do so. We would recommend the Cane & Taro restaurant in Whaler's Village, as well as Kimo's in Lahaina.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.

Johns condo was exactly what we were looking for on our 5 day getaway! :) the condo was exactly as described in the past reviews! Royal Kahana was located only minutes away from Lahaina where we spent most of our vacation shopping, dining, and snorkeling in the beautiful aqua blue ocean. Nothing could beat the ocean front view we woke up to every morning! The sounds of the waves brought me out to the patio every morning just to soak in the scenery. Thank you so much for contributing to our unforgettable vacation John! You were so helpful :)Recommended for: Girls getaway.

Our 9 day stay in March 2012 was fantastic. The views of the ocean channel between Lani and Maui were simply breathtaking. We could not believe how close we were to the ocean and beach. Listening to the waves with a glass of wine made for a wonderful experience. The owner John was very easy to work with and everything was as advertised. When this direct oceanfront unit came up for sale, It had the most perfect view that I have seen at the Royal Kahana.
