The views from this luxurious penthouse are unrivaled. The wrap-around terrace provides an unobstructed 180 degree view. From the verdant mountainside to the gently lapping waves you will think you have died and gone to heaven. You are in a perfect location.
Unless you plan to stay for a month, (please consider it), you will be unable to sample all of the fabulous restaurants. The gourmet restaurant, La Palapa, located on the ground floor, is the oldest and best restaurant on the beach. You are, indeed, in a paradise...both tropical as well as epicurean.
Spend the day sitting on your terrace watching all the action on the beach, or sit by the large rooftop pool, sipping a cool drink. Want more daytime action? Head for the Municipal mercado, or the wonderful shops along Basilio Badillo. Perhaps you might want to take the water taxi to Yelapa!
Without doubt, La Palapa is the best condo building on the beach. There is maid service 6 days a week, (excluding Mexican holidays), as well as 24/7 security.

We've been coming to PV for more than 25 years and this was the best trip ever! The condo is beautiful and in a perfect location on Los Muertos beach. You can walk right into La Palapa restaurant (and we did). We also walked to all of our favorite restaurants and along the malecon every night. The wraparound terrace is outstanding, offers the most spectacular view of the bay and affords both morning and afternoon full sun. The master bedroom and bath are very comfortable. The housekeeping services were a great plus, with daily service. The only shortcoming was too little storage space (drawers) in the second bedroom/bath. I would love to come here again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, age 55+.

I have stayed at numerous units in La Palapa over the last twelve years and this is the finest one I have seen. Beautifully re-modeled and decorated with unbeatable city and ocean views. Being the penthouse, the ceilings are extra high, giving it a palatial feeling. I very much enjoyed my stay and would stay in this unit again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, age 55+.

I've been coming to the Zona Romantica / Los Muertos area of Puerto Vallarta for many years and this year decided to splurge on a nicer place to stay. It turns out it was the perfect year to do so because we hit a rare winter rain storm for a day and a half, and having a cool place to nest was especially valuable. This condo is in the perfect location, just a block south from all the resteraunts we like to go for dinner, and a block north from the blue chairs beach were we spend our days. The view is stunning from the 7th floor, and this building juts out further onto the beach than neighboring buildings so we had 270 degree view of the beach and the hillside of the town to the south. I'm not sure you will find a better view that is also a few steps to the beach. When we were there they were just finishing remodeling the fishing pier on the north side of the building visable from the deck. I read it's now open, but it hadn't yet opened when we were there, something to save for the next time. There were a number of thoughtful touches like extra beach towls, and blankets for the 1 cool night, and the welcome book with some local history that we hadn't know about. This is the BEST property on the beach! I have stayed here several times. The views are spellbinding. The unit is exceptionally well maintained and clean. Shopping and wonderful restaurants are all within walking distance. If available rent this unit ASAPRecommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+.

We stayed here for ten days just recently. We have been coming to PV for the past 10 years and have stayed at many places, but this by far is our favorite place and we are looking forward to our next visit. The place is decorated with class, the kitchen was very well equiped, linens were new and very clean, furniture was nice and comfortable. The views were amazing from the wrap around balcon, from ocean, beach, to the hills. Very relaxing, private, classy, and comfortable place. We highly recommend this place!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway, age 55+.
