  This is the ideal beach vacation experience. The home is just steps to the ocean and the pristine beach and offers a spectacular view. The home is beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable and has all of the amenities. Every detail of the home is high quality. Bikes, games, and internet are a few of the extras. Hiking, shopping, dining, and wining are all within a short drive.

  What a great house! Our family had a wonderful time in Rockaway/Nedonna Beach- even with all the rain during our 4 day stay (rained for 3 of those days). The house was perfect for our needs and we loved being so close to the waves, even though we watched mostly through the window at times. Great location, larger selection of movies, fun games and 'musical instruments, and wonderful use of space throughout the home. We also appreciate your help with the cable and how accommodating you were for us. We'd recommend your home to anyone! Thanks again- awesome trip because of the house!

  The description is "spot on" and the other reviews are too. My wife and I went to 3 other places within 10 miles of Beach Star this spring and while the others were nice, Beach Star was by far the best. Our family of six adults gathered for 4 nights and 4 1/2 days of eating, drinking and relaxing. We spent most of our time in 3 places- the beach, the patio and the kitchen. The weather was great. My iPhone app said it was 93 degrees in Rockaway Beach on that Sat. but it felt like 73 on the beach. The evenings were more than cool and plenty breezey so unless you build a fire on the beach, dress warmly or enjoy the view from inside. When we were there driftwood was hard to find but there are places nearby that sell "camp wood" bundles. If you want to chillax this is the place.

  We have stayed at other homes at Rockaway and this by far has been the best. Very clean, upscale and nicely decorated. It truly is a home and not just a rental. The kids loved all the movies. We enjoyed cooking, playing games and reading all with a fantastic view. The weather was stormy which made the house that much more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this home. Thanks again Randy, you did a great job with your house.

  The property was well equiped and maintained, it was even nicer than the pictures, The owner was quick to respond and helpful when ever we called. We enjoyed the Jetty and the winery in Tillamook. It was a very relaxing stay and the food in neighboring towns were all good. I would recomend this place to everyone and cant wait to vacation there again. Martin and Joan

  WOW!!! Everything that was listed was just as described, the pictures are just as it is, BUT when you get there it just takes your breath away. A most romantic stay for our 40th anniversary!!! The owners were wonderful to work with. In sharing our photos every one is amazed. Thank you for letting us enjoy the Beach Star!

  This was the perfect place for our beach getaway. The home was open and airy and also warm and cozy with incredible views of the ocean. Great kitchen for gourmet meals, comfortable furniture for reading, playing games, or ocean gazing. Perfect for enjoying the beach rain or shine. Home has all the extras and very luxorious. Great for small or larger groups, with large rooms and comforable sleeping accomodations. Owners were a joy to work with. This was by far the best beach home we have ever stayed in.

  Having stayed here the past weekend with my family, I will definitely be back. The veiw is absolutely amazing. The owners were so great to work with. The home is so beautiful, yet comfortable. Nothing stuffy about it. We had a fabulous 2 days of sunshine and 1 really great storm to watch from the large windows in the livingroom. We are a family of avid readers and the variety of books to choose from, was a bonus. The kids were thrilled with the large library of movies also. Just steps to the beach! Thanks so much for letting us enjoy Beach Star! I'll be referring this beautiful home to many of my freinds.

  My family has just spent a wonderful weekend at The Beach Star in Rockaway beach, OR. The home was comfortable, relaxing, is very well laid out for kids, grandparents and parents a like. The views were spectacular. I walk up the stairs to the living room and the ocean takes my breath away. The couches were comfortable and placed where grandpa could sit and tend the fireplace while watching the kids play. The kitchen was well stocked with tools and quality appliances . The layout made it easy for mom and daughter - in - law to navigate, without bumping into each other. The living quarters were cozy and comfortable, and the views of the ocean inspired us continuously throughout the weekend. The lower level was almost like a second unit, with it's additional sink & fridge. Plus the kids could watch movies & play games without disturbing the adults upstairs. We also enjoyed the local restaurants and the kite festival that was held while we were in town. The listing represents the home and amenities well, but it is much better in person than you can capture with words or photos. The home was clean, and easy to keep clean picked up, decorated in a comfortable relaxed fashion. I would recommend this property to friends and will enjoy taking my family to it again.

  This is the nicest beach house I have ever stayed at! The house is immaculate, the decorations are interesting and appropriate, the walk to the beach is short (just across the back yard), the view is amazing. The pictures in this listing are well representative of the property and the house is definitely well worth the money spent. My extended family used this house for a week-long vacation and there was plenty of room for all of us to have our spae while also not feeling like the house was 'too big'. Rockaway is a great setting for a week away at the beach. It is a sleepy beach town with a few restaurants and antique shops, and there is plenty to do within about 15 minutes drive. Make sure you don't miss walking up the beach to what I would call 'the driftwood graveyard', it is quite a sight. My wife and I have two small children and the house was very easy to baby-proof, we just moved some knickknack off of the bottom shelves. We didn't bring a baby gate with us and we were fine, but I would recommend you bring one along. The short walk to the ocean made it possible for my wife and I to take the boys to the beach every day, even if it was just for a very short time to appease our very excited boys. The owners were a pleasure to work with, very helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this property and renting from these owners.
