  My husband, 10 lb. poodle and I stayed in this delightful spot for 10 days in September 2012 while visiting our son and his family in Steamboat. This is a comfortable, clean and most pleasant accomodation that was minutes away from all Steamboat has to offer. A quiet spot with a homelike feel. I was surprised at the many conveniences offered and would definately visit again on a future trip. So close to the mountain I can only imagine what a wonderful ski accomodation this is. Wonderful spot for two couples or a family with each bedroom (with bath) on separate floors for privacy. Definately rates an Excellent rating on all scores.

  I hesitated to write a review, worrying that this home would become popular, and may not be available when we visit Steamboat next year. How selfish am I??? I can't do that to our wonderful host. We (and our dog) had a truly memorable vacation in an extremely comfortable home, in a beautiful setting. We hope to return again and again.

  My husband and I stayed here with his daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter and our JRT, Skooter. I was in Steamboat to run the 2008 Steamboat Springs marathon and the family was there for much needed get away. We were extremely pleased with our selection. The property was true to the description and pictures on the website. The views were spectacular, the location was perfect for walking and bike riding - just the right distance from downtown Steamboat. We were lucky, the owners were home at the time; they are so friendly and helpful and our dogs romped around together. This property was truly home away from home. I cannot wait to return for the 2012 Steamboat Half-Marathon and having a evening on the deck with the owners. Consider this property for your next visit to Steamboat. The proximity to town and the location truly allow you enjoy all the Steamboat embodies - clean air, quiet, warm days and cool, star filled nights. Have breakfast in town at the Shack and enjoy a marg at The Rio, and sports at the Tap House. Take a bike ride or a run along the Yampa on the miles of paved or engineered paths. Have a great visit to Steamboat Springs!

  I was looking for a pet friendly rental in Steamboat Springs and found the Lane Guest House. This place was clean, convenient and comfortable. The location was super and also just a short hop to the main ski parking lot. We’ll definitely use this guest house again next year! Thanks to Ed and Lauren.

  We stayed for a week in this wonderful duplex. Plenty of room for the four of us. Great deck and barbecue area. Upstairs is spacious with kitchen, living room area and bedroom. Downstairs has another bedroom with bathroom that my wife and I stayed in. Very comfortable and relaxing. Great location for biking and hiking. Super quiet neighborhood. Our teenage boys loved the hot tub! Ed and Loren are fantastic hosts and helped us navigate our first trip to Steamboat. Thanks!

  My wife and I decided to return to Steamboat after 25 years. Wow has this town grown! We feel fortunate to have found this home. We visited all of the old stomping grounds with much delight returning after long days to a warm, clean and comfortable home....and pet friendly. I would recommend this rental to anybody wanting the same. Thanks again Ed and Lauren for the hospitality.

  It's sometimes hard to find condos for just two people. We were delighted to find this one and it suited us just fine. Very cozy, well equipped, and so convenient for skiing and the town.

  What a unique, fantastic and very well equipped property. Comfortable and cozy, the fire place really warmed us up quickly when we needed it. Plenty of space - simply ideal. You couldn't ask for a better location - very close to shops and the Gondola. We enjoyed the Send Off celebration for the Olympians to Vancouver together with our hosts Ed & Lauren. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat since we had the snowboard vacation of our lives here.

  The house was great – really nicely furnished and very well equipped. We loved the neighborhood – it’s an easy walk to the ski area & also the market. Your place was so close to shops & restaurants and skiing.
