Doublebed and two single ones in totally separate spaces. Two bathrooms: one full with jacuzzi, the other small. Promotional rates for reservations within the next two weeks.

We just spent a week in early March in Roberto's wonderful apartment. It is located in a pleasant, safe neighborhood full of shops and services, and just two blocks from the beach. There is a wonderful bakery-cafe-deli just across the street with the most divine bread and croissants, and 2 grocery stores nearby. Not to mention a cab stand right around the corner. Roberto is a most congenial host and was very helpful in getting us oriented in Rio.Coffee on the patio in the morning was a real treat.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My friend and I stayed in Roberto's apartment for almost two weeks. Its location in Leblon is fantastic - two blocks from the beach and minutes away from some amazing restaurants!!! The area is very safe at all times of the day. The place itself is very charming with two large rooms along with spacious outdoor patio area. The A/C is working very well, which is very much needed, especially during the summer months. The owner, Robert, is around and ready to help whenever needed.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Immeuble très bien situé dans le quartier de Leblon, avec de bonnes communications pour atteindre les centres culturels et artistiques de Rio, de plus, à 5 minutes des plages et commerces à proximité. Appartement spacieux, aménagé avec un sens artistique prononçé, disposant de tout le confort, avec une terrasse merveilleuse, permettant de recevoir des amis dans d'excellentes conditions. Ma compagne et moi y avons passé un séjour inoubliable. Nous ne pouvons que le recommander pour des personnes cherchant un lieu de grand charme à Rio.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

My wife and I and two sons stayed here for one week. The apartment is in one of the best parts of Rio, just two blocks from Leblon beach. The area is far superior to Copacabana or Ipanema. This is an extremely nice and very safe area with many great restaurants and bars. There are shops and supermarkets right next door so it is easy to get supplies. Transport to other parts of the city is simple as there is a taxi rank just outside. The apartment block has a doorman and is very secure. The penthouse apartment itself is execellent - just what we wanted. It is decorated in an older style with original paintings, chandeliers, piano and exudes charm. It is spacious with two very large rooms as well as a separate kithchen and bathroom. There is a double bed in the main bedroom and two single beds in the living room. Both rooms have good quality air conditioning. There is TV and Wireless Internet. The high point is the beautiful roof garden which is decked with mature plants, a water bed (very comfy) and an aquarium. The owner, Roberto, is a well known playwright and was very helpful, giving us plenty of information about the area. We would highly recommend this apartment.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We cannot say enough good things about this apartment and our experience here. Safe neighborhood, doorman at front, two blocks from leblon beach, fantastic restaurants and watering holes right around the corner. The owner was extremely helpful, including showing us around the neighboorhood on the first day. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable, including a beautiful veranda. We would recommend this apartment to anyone and plan on coming back to stay here again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Our stay at the Penthouse Loft in Leblon was fantastic and I would highly recommend this apartment. The apartment was very spacious, well kept, very clean and in the safest areas of Rio, close to the beach with lots of bars and restaurants close by. The owner was very helpful regarding any questions that we had prior to our trip. Whilst we were there, he was very informative about Rio and was always at hand to assist with any queries about the apartment. The apartment was an excellent place to relax and spend time in. I will definitely be revisiting.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Stayed here two years in a row for a week. Place is as described. Owner very helpful to help out situate us and informed us about attractions in the area. For the price of a regular hotel you get your own large place and feel homey. Central location with shopping, restaurants and close to beach. Its a safe area so you dont have to worry here. Highly recommendedRecommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Why the Owner Chose Rio de Janeiro:
I first chose it to live in. I sometimes use the penthouse/loft (about 1500 sq feet) as rehearsal space, while I live in another apt in the same building. My family bought it for me 42 years ago.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
Leblon is the right side of Ipanema Beach, slightly less crowded. It's the most valuable area in Rio. Many restaurants, much shopping, very late night life.
