Red Pine is located at The Canyons, the largest ski and snowboard resort in Utah and one of the 5 largest in the United States. The 2013 summer season kicks off June 13, 2013 and is in full swing through mid-October where you can enjoy scenic gondola rides to 8,000 feet; free Saturday concerts beginning July 20th; gondola-served hiking, mountain biking, and disc golf; miles of hiking and mountain biking; and Wednesday’s Farmer’s Market starting June 5th. Our condominium is just steps away from the cabriolet (open gondola) that will whisk you up to the base of the mountain where you can take a breathtaking gondola ride. Afterwards, be sure to stop in and dine at The Farm located on the Ski Beach across from the base of Red Pine Gondola. The Farm, named “Best New Restaurant in Utah” in February 2012 by Salt Lake Magazine, offers a modern American cuisine, both indoor / outdoor dining, and features an amazing selection of wines.
Just 4 miles to Park City, Utah and Park City’s historic Main Street, we invite you to experience everything Park City has to offer. Enjoy your choice of over 100 restaurants and bars, a fabulous nightlife, quaint shops and art galleries, summertime performing arts, music, events, and festivals. Experience the Alpine Slide, one of the longest Alpine Slides in the country, the 110-foot zip line, and again, hundreds of miles of hiking and biking trails. Some of Park City’s major events include Park Silly Sunday Market; the Park City Gallery Stroll; the Park City Food and Wine Classic; and the Park City Kimball Arts Festival. Do not forget that Park City is home to the Sundance Film Festival held every January. Park City Transit is free of charge and will take you to any location from Kimball Junction to Deer Valley. From out-of-this-world skiing in the winter to a great summer filled with lift served mountain biking, hiking, scenic chairlift rides, dining on the deck of Royal Street Café and the Deer Valley Grocery ~ Café, mountain bike races, and the renowned outdoor Deer Valley Music Festivals. 2013 is the 10th anniversary of the fabulous festivals held every Friday and Saturday evening beginning June 29th through August 10th.
Take beautiful scenic drives, shop the Tanger Outlet Center featuring 60 brand name outlets, participate in summer water sports at one of four nearby reservoirs, or how about a round of golf at one of the nine public golf courses in the area. I own 3 ski shops... 2 in New York and 1 in Connecticut. I booked this condominium for a young couple who are customers of ours. They could not have been happier with the accommodations. They felt that the quality was that of a high end hotel, but included the conveniences of a full kitchen with dining area and a washer and dryer, plus the privacy of a home. They said the bed was extremely comfortable, as was all the furniture and that the condominium was tastefully decorated. Put all that together with the convenience of being just a few hundred yards from the Cabriolet (the high speed lift that takes you to the ski area base) of The Canyons and you have an ideal setup... at a fraction of what it would cost at any of the fancy hotels.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

My boyfriend and I rented this cute condo for our first ski trip out west. It was everything we needed and more! The condo was meticulously clean and fresh towels and linens were provided. The description and pictures on vrbo are completely accurate. Cherie was wonderful with helping us plan our vacation from transportation to directions around Park City! She was prompt with our reservation and the process was very easy. The kitchen was stocked well with all the things we needed to make many nice meals after a day around the town. The tv's and Internet access were easy to use, and the bedroom and bathroom were well updated and comfy. I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone looking for a clean and cozy stay in the Park City area! We will be back in the future and there is no doubt that I will contact Cherie to stay again in her Red Pine rental!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

What a treat Cherie's condo is. Well furnished, fantastic bedding and towels and complete, super organized, recently renovated kitchen. We felt like we were in a 5 star hotel. Her instructions were complete and clear and she was flexible and easy to book with.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

We just returned home after seven weeks in Cherie's beautiful condo. We have been enjoying our summers in Park City for 25 years and this condo has everything that you need to have a wonderful vacation. Cherie has thought of everything. It is beautifully decorated and is so comfortable. All you need is to pack your bag with your personal belongings as this condo has been supplied with everything that you will need. Parking is very close to the front door which was a plus for us, and the patio with table, chairs and barbeque was so very pleasant in the mornings afternoon and evenings. The bed was great and we enjoyed the ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom. I really liked having a washer and dryer in the unit. It was so much better than going to the laundry room at the club house. You can walk to the Farmer's Market that is held every Wednesday during the summer and ride the gondola to The Canyons ski resort. The free bus service will take you all over town, even to the outlet mall, is so close that you will not need a car. We would recommend this condo to anyone that is looking for a special place to stay while visiting Park City.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car.

The condo was beautiful and newly renovated. It was so conveniently located. We had a car which isn't necessarily needed, but parking was sooo easy to find on Main Street when we went there to eat and stroll, and we also went on several drives so it was convenient to have. The gondola for the Canyons resort is walking distance. The club house with the pool and hot tub were awesome and perfect after a long day on the slopes and just a two minute walk from the condo. It had everything we needed, and it was a great touch to have the washer/dryer in the unit. If we head back to Utah hopefully in the near future, we would stay here again. I definitely recommend this to couples :-) Very centrally located! Thank you Cherie for everything - you were wonderful to work with!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

This condo is centrally located, newly remodeled, fully equipped, the owner is super friendly and makes sure your stay is all it can be. It is 35 minutes from the airport at the base of The Canyons resort. An 8 minute ride to Deer Valley and 5 minutes to Park City. The free bus stops close by. A great view of the mountains from the bedroom window. The most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. Top quality linens. Great parking. An outdoor pool, indoor and outdoor jacuzzu and an indoor sauna. Perfect for a couple or a small family like ours. I will not stay anywhere else in the Park City area. We had a wonderful stay at The Canyons. The condo is beautiful and equipped with everything that you need. Cherie was so helpful and couldn't have been nicer. It was just my husband and I on this particular stay in Park City and the condo was everything we expected from the description and photos online! It was very clean and the renovations are wonderful making this condo feel like a home away from home for us! The location is great if you want to be close to the Canyons resort and it is only a short drive to several of the local area attractions and shopping. The owner was very helpful and quick to respond to any of our questions. We would definitely recommend staying here to anyone interested and will consider staying here again ourselves if we are traveling without friends and family next time!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

We spent 6 weeks in this unit last summer (2011) and it certainly lived up to our expectations. The decor is up to date with comfortable furniture and top notch linens. We couldn't have asked for anything better.Recommended for: Age 55+.

About the owner: Sisters, Cherie and Michelle, are the owners of this beautiful Red Pine condominium. Michelle is a practicing registered nurse in Idaho and Cherie is a banker in Salt Lake City.
Why the Owner Chose Red Pine:
Our father purchased this condominium in 1979 as a summer getaway for the family and as a ski rental in the winter months. We have many happy memories of dad at Red Pine. Our condo is a 'clean one owner' that has had very good care. After a year-round tenant moved out, we decided it was time to finally update and renovate, and boy did we!!! Check out our photos and notice that very special attention has been paid to every little detail of our condominium.
