Located just a on the edge of Ashland. Beautiful and quiet with a vineyard just a quarter mile away. The owner, Debbie, was very nice and accommodating even bringing popcorn that evening and promising a treat in the morning. Our stay included a brunch and our treat was a tasty breakfast that included biscuits and gravy from her grandma's receipe that is over 100 years old. There are horses, our daughter truly enjoyed, and plenty of wildlife to see. We enjoyed the stay and will be staying there again in the future and recommend it.Did you find this review helpful? We stayed in the cottage, which was well stocked with all supplies (fully stocked kitchen, bathroom, linens, DVD videos, outdoor seating and play areas). There were even some yummy snacks on the table upon our arrival. Debbie is one of the friendliest innkeepers we have ever met on a vacation rental! She was welcoming but non-intrustive, and she was so kind to give our 7-year-old daughter a horseback ride. The property is absolutely gorgeous! Our view from the cottage was a huge open field with horses grazing. It was peaceful and beautiful. The studio and cottage are both set WAY back from the road, so there is no traffic noise from Highway 66. We loved walking the lovely, well-kept grounds (20 acres?) and had a wonderful stay! Our 7-year-old daughter loved all of the animals (there is even a woodpecker who will fly down to sit on your shoulder if you're still and patient enough!). Debbie's son was wonderful to talk with about Ashland and surrounding areas as we are considering a move from Northern California. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay and we will definitely be back.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

My mother and I rented the cottage for a week from the owner, Debbie. We had a very peaceful and enjoyable stay! The location, just 10 minutes south of downtown, was perfect for getting away from the city. The ranch, on 20 acres, is just lovely! There are about a dozen horses on the property, along with some friendly cats and dogs. We spent many hours swinging on the gliders, just listening to the birds, the creek and watching the horses. The cottage itself is comfortable, but a little quirky. 2 bedrooms and a loft bedroom, each with a queen bed. There is also a futon bed in the living room. Full kitchen, living room with a small tv-dvd player-dish network. Only one bath downstairs with a shower over tub. Window air conditioner in the loft upstairs, and portable fan downstairs kept things fairly cool. Nice yard that kids would love to play in. Very much a country home.....don't expect it to be luxurious! The owner is so friendly and helpful. She showed us they also have a nice studio to let that is attached to the main house. It is a very nice set up that can sleep 2-4. Nice little kitchen, bath, sitting room, and outside patio/garden. There is a long-term rental house on the property, and there are creeks and trails nearby. Debbie will also board your pets/horses during your stay, and if you would like her to take you on a ride on her horses, that can also be arranged! The ranch does get somewhat busy on the weekends with lots of activities and visitors, but during the week it is very, very quiet. We had a lovely stay at Little Creek Ranch, and will most certainly be back next year.Recommended for: Pet owners, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children.

Thank you Debbie! You made moving my "girls" to Washington so much easier. To those looking for a equine (or other as I understand) motel, along highway 5, this is the place to go. Debbie was helpful from my first panicked phone call. She took my reservation and had no problem with the fact that we couldn't arrive until 9 or 10 pm. She was out ther with her headlamp on guiding us in. We were so tired and I'm sure my girls a little distressed. Debbie made us feel at home and inknew we had nothing to worry about taking an overnight break. I guess our minis were a hit as they had many human visitors and photo ops :-) We picked them up Saturday morning, again greeted by Debbie and her lovely lab. We loaded up and hit the road, made it to our final destination feeling great. Thank you with all my heart Debbie.Recommended for: Pet owners, sightseeing, families with young children.

My family and I stayed in the Garden Studio at Little Creek Ranch in July 2011. It was just the right size for two adults and one child. It was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The owner, Debbie, is absolutely wonderful and went out of her way to make our stay perfect! She treated us like members of her family. The ranch is very pretty, quiet, and relaxing. Everything is green and there are flowers everywhere. Our toddler loved going to see all of the animals each day. We made friends with the chickens, dogs, cats, and horses. We only stayed 3 nights, but we wish it had been 3 weeks! Ashland is just a short drive away and is a charming little town with plenty to do. We loved exploring Lithia Park there. You will not be disappointed staying here. We'll be back for sure. See you soon Debbie!Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

We were exhausted, the horses needed to get out of the trailer, and it was dark. The owner waited up for us, met us at the driveway with a flashlight and helped us unload, get the horses settled and had coffee ready when we got up. The property is beautiful, has amazing views, and privacy. The barn is well lit, well maintained, and spacious. Being on the road with horses is hard on everybody, I wish there were more places to stop with nice facilities, reasonable rates and hospitality. Debbie at Little Creek Ranch went above and beyond and her warm reception was greatly appreciated.Recommended for: Pet owners, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Our group of 3 families with 5 adults and 8 kids stayed here after a rafting trip on the Rogue. Debbie is a gracious hostess and very attentive to guest's needs and making them feel at home. The ranch is beautiful and close to town. We will definitely stay here any time we visit Ashland.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

We just got back from our second stay at Little Creek. It's a nice, peaceful location, with a wonderful hostess, Debbie. It's quiet, but close enough to Ashland if you want more excitement. The photos do not do this place justice! One night, the sky was so clear we had a spectacular view of the Milky Way. Looking forward to our next trip.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

Little Creek Ranch is by far the best, most wonderful place we have ever stayed in and around Ashland. The pictures on this website, though accrurate, do not do the place justice. The house is roomy, very comfortable, clean, and well-kept. I had absolutely no trouble logging in and using the wi-fi throughout the week. We cooked in the kitchen every night that was stocked with plates, cookware and utencils. There was even a yummy welcome tray with snacks. There were plenty of towels and blankets with a washer and dryer to make it easy to pack light. If you like animals, you will love Little Creek Ranch. There are 7 horses that graze on the hill just outside the house and two dogs and three cats that roam freely all over the ranch who are very friend;y and love any and all attention you want to give them. The owner, Debbie, lives with her family in the house next door so if you need anything, she is right there to help you out. I came up with my 10yr old daughter who had a great time hanging out with Debbie and her family and is probably considered an honorary member of the family at this point. I can't recommend Little Creek Ranch enough, though I hesitate only becasue I don't want it to become so popular that I will have trouble making reservations every year to come back. We will never stay anywhere else in Ashland. We have found our 2nd home in Little Creek Ranch. Thank you, Debbie, for everything and see you next summer!Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.
