Nice Stay At Copper House
Nice Stay At Copper House

My husband and I had the wonderful pleasure of spending a long weekend at the Copper House. There are so many nice things to say, I don’t know where to begin. The building is square and is safely secured behind a metal privacy fence. Once inside the fence there is a gravel yard with lovely cactus (they were blooming when I was there), along with a picnic table and a trailer with bicycles for us to enjoy. We didn’t have any but there is room for dogs to run and a place to grill. The house itself is wonderful. It is full of light. When you first enter through the sliding door you are greeted by a very clean, bright new modern place. Everything is set in white. The floor has plush throw rugs. The kitchen is spacious with an eating island, lots of prep areas, a full refrigerator, microwave and a Jenn-Air stove! The bathroom has a large closet and an awesome rain shower. The water gets hot at once, so no waiting for water to heat and it is a constant water temperature and pressure not usually found in hotels. Then there is the bed! It is probably the most comfortable bed my husband or I have ever experienced in a vacation rental. It is a very high quality mattress with very comfortable linens. (I am trying to hunt them down for my own house). The top of the room is surrounded with windows placed very high, allowing much light during the day. But it is quite dark and very quiet in the evening. In addition, this place has room for a small family. This is not a place for someone who likes to hang out in a dark hotel room watchin’ tv, this is a place for people to enjoy the experience of Tucson. It is in a central location very close to many parks, golf courses, restaurants, and the University. My husband and I are very much looking forward to visiting the Copper House again in the future!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Had a wonderful time at Casa Solariega. Clean and bright, well equipped and comfortable. Easy access to everything in Tucson. Patio was a perfect place to rehydrate with wine and beer after a day of sightseeing. Enjoyed every minute of our stay.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

My husband and I were very pleased with our experience at the Copper House. The place was very clean and tastefully furnished. The bed was extremely comfortable. The only things missing were tools for the BBQ and a cookie sheet to cook frozen pizza, but that in no way made our stay less enjoyable. Thank you for giving us such a fun alternative to a hotel!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Our week long stay at Copper House was exceptionally great! It began to feel like home the first day. Your place is very cool but also had every amenity we were looking for. Your attention to detail and the well-equiped kitchen made everything easy and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe and secure at all times. It couldn't have been better. Tucson is a very special place. We loved every minute. Thanks, Michael!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

This hip home has become a favorite of mine when I visit Tuscon. Light, bright, relaxing and just the right size for me, but still large enough to have freinds stop over for a sunset sip.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Live in Montana and needed a get away to warmer weather for a long weekend. Found the Copper House online as we did not want to stay in a hotel. The house was clean, organized, and very private. It is fenced on all sides and has a nice outdoor patio to sip your coffee or other choice of drink in the cooler mornings and nights. We found the location of the house made it easy to explore Tucson and the surrounding areas. I noticed in one review that they wished the house had wi-fi. The owner of the house must have taken notice and wi-fi has been installed - just need to plug in the router. Overall, we enjoyed the house very much and recommend it to everyone.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

1ST VISIT TO TUCSON W/OUR DOG. REALLY APPRECIATED HAVING A COOL & COMFORTABLE PLACE TO GO AND HANG OUT A BIT IN THE HEAT OF THE DAY. MY ARCHITECT HUSBAND WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE COPPER HOUSE & ITS DETAILS. CLOSE TO CENTER OF CITY IN A KIND OF FUNKY, BUT QUIET, NEIGHBORHOOD. NEIGHBORHOOD DIDN'T REALLY MATTER BECAUSE THE HOUSE ITSELF IS FENCED & VERY PRIVATE. IT'S A LITTLE OASIS WITH A HIP INTERIOR & NICELY LANDSCAPED OUTDOOR SPACE. WE ENJOYED IT VERY MUCH.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, pet owners, romantic getaway.

Positives: great location, absentee owner was friendly & helpful in advance of our stay, pet friendly, nicely equipped kitchen, good climate control system, and super comfortable bed. The house is quite stylish in and of itself. Negatives: very dirty white floors and worn sofa with torn upholstery full of food crumbs and hair. Very little privacy, with a floating glass bath door & no shade on the bathroom window (at groin level). No grill, no comfortable outdoor chairs for enjoying the Tucson weather. Internet access is not wireless, but one cord which we had to drag around and switch between computers. We'd asked for the "available" extra bed for one night and got a stinky rollaway cot that smelled like an ashtray--unusable. Overall, sort of a missed opportunity, because it's obviously a place the owners took great pride in designing and building.Recommended for: Pet owners.
Owner response: In two years all reviews have been 4 or 5. Since this persons visit three months ago there have been only 4 and 5 star reviews. My goal is to make everyones visit perfect so I must first say that I regret that even one person was disappointed. Though I do not recognize this individuals name I invite them to phone and if they were indeed my customer they may be entitled to a rebate. Cleanliness is paramount and if on this one occasion it was remiss I do apologize. The issues: Couch fabric has been purchased. A wireless router will be installed. The window in question is blocked from view by a privacy fence but I will see to it that the glass is replaced. I cannot do anything about the super comfortable bed, the nicely equipped kitchen, the great location or the obvious pride taken in designing and building.

The Copper House is an extremely comfortable and fun place to stay! We loved having coffee and breakfast out on the patio while listening to the birds and viewing the mountains. It is centrally located in a very quiet neighborhood. We were never far from world-class hiking and fantastic restaurants. There are so many things to do in the area and we loved staying at The Copper House, we hope to return very soon!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.
