No stairs to climb, just exit the lanai and stroll thru the beautifully manicure gardens to the beach, pool, tennis courts, croquet court, barbecue/picnic areas, volleyball,fitness facility, and shuffle board. Take a short walk to the right of the resort for great island shopping, food, and recreation.

This NON-SMOKING two-bedroom, two-bath condominium comfortably sleeps six people. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and private bathroom plus a flat screen TV & DVD. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and the living room has two full size (double)futons plus a flat screen TV, DVD & stereo system. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pans, dishwasher, coffee maker, and microwave with a comfortable dining room.

THIS CONDO HAS ITS OWN WASHER/DRYER!!! Ground-floor lanai makes easy coming and going and the entertainment center provides cable TV, DVD and a stereo. High Speed Internet service is in the condo and can be purchased on a daily or weekly rate. (Building E)

  • My wife and I stayed at the Hofheins condo for our honeymoon. It was the most amazing trip I have ever had. The condo is incredibly comfortable and very well decorated. As it is right next to the beach we would walk out our door and watch the breathtaking sunrise every morning. The condo is perfectly situated on the east coast. Which makes the drive to any destination on the island just a few short minutes. In fact there is a stunning waterfall and one of the best snorkeling areas only 5 minutes from the condo. Also within 2 minutes of walking are plenty of wonderful restaurants. Thank you Bryan, Arden, and Farrah for helping us have this experience, which we will never forget. Chris and Azy Capua

  • We had a great stay on the beautiful island of Kauai and it was in great part because of your condo. It was big enough for our family, centrally located, it was very nice furniture and well equiped kitchen. We had one little glitch and it was resolved IMMEDIATELY, it was wonderful service. Inside was great, grounds were beautiful, it was all good. I will be recommending it to friends.

  • The condo was spacious and had all of the necessities to make it a very comfortable stay. We enjoyed all of the amenities (croquet, shuffle board, pool, jacuzzi, putting green) of the resort. The staff there are great and the grounds are beautiful. It was wonderful to walk a few steps to the beach to watch the sun rise and check the tide pools for a variety of creatures. The location is terrific for travel any where on the island and the Old Town Kapa'a had numerous places to shop and dine. We hope to make it back there.

  • We loved staying at the condo. It is centally located to just about everything and an easy walk to town and the beach. We really appreciated all the free ameneties the condo complex had to offer like croquet and tennis. All in all a perfect vacation.

  • Thanks so much for the way in which you handled our stay at your condo. Indeed it was ideally located for dining, shopping and the ocean. While we were out more than we were in it, nevertheless, was nice to have a clean place at a resonable price to hang out. By the way,we found a coconut just outside the door. We shredded it and used it to roll our Talapia in for a fine dining experience. Thanks again.

  • Our stay at the Pono Kai was wonderful. The condo was perfect for our needs. The porch was great to eat breakfast on as we overlooked the gardens and ocean. It was nice having a kitchen to do breakfasts and lunches in. We loved being centrally located on the island. Whether we decided to travel to the north shore or head south, it wasn't much of a drive. Now we are just figuring out when we can go and do it again!

  • My husband and I and another couple stayed for 5 days in May,2007. The condo is spacious and well keptjust like the pictures,the grounds are nicely landscaped and pool area very nice. The beach is just a short walk through the condo grounds. One of the best things was the washer&dryer with all the supplies. There was security and that made it nice knowing the parking lot and condo's were being watched at all times. We would stay there again and not hesitate telling others,it was a great place.

  • Farrah, My wife and two daughters had a wonderful five days in your very well furnished and clean condo. The lower level was terrific for sitting outside in the morning and walking directly to and from the beach. A short walk into town for snacks and shopping make it a great location in Kapaa. I would not hesitate to recommend it to family and friends and will use it on our next trip back to Kauai.

  • This is a great condo. It's really spacious, and having a washer and dryer in the condo is definitely a plus! We've stayed at Pono Kai many times because it's such a great central location, and this is the nicest condo we've been in. Thanks for sharing it with us!
