We stayed in this Pono Kai Condo in Nov. 2011. We had a wonderful vacation! The condo unit was so neat and clean; everything that we needed was readily available. We were not fully aware that this condo was part of a much larger complex until arriving; it was wonderful to have access to so many different activities - Bocceball, croquet, beautiful grounds, feeding the fish (the children loved it!), pool, hot tub, and ocean beachfront. The condo location is such that we made day trips to sites and beaches all over the beautiful island of Kauai. Thanks to Farrah; your place was beautiful and your help was great! We would definitely come again. We'll never forget the crowing roosters to awaken us in the morning!

This unit really sleeps 8 if you open up the futons. It is extremely well equipped and is very well maintained by the owners. You can tell they have pride in their property. The grounds are really beautiful and facinating. They also have the most beautiful Coy Pond I've ever seen. They are constantly cleaning and trimming the grounds - but no noise only absolute silence. The beach on the grounds is beautiful and perfect for supervised kids. The Staff people were really great -- knowledge of everywhere to see, everywhere to eat-- etc, etc, and some secret places for specials!! they also have a beautifully maintained sparkling swimming pool and hot tub. They is so much to do right on the grounds!! Staff scheduled us like pros on everything. Also, your cars are parked right outside the door -- you don't have to walk a block to your car!! This condo is extremely well priced and I would highly recommend it to anyone. This is really a bargain unit that is beautiful and has everything. I will definitely be going back. Try it -- you'll love it!!

This condo has been super to stay at when we have been on Kauai. It is in the center of the island and close to downtown Kapaa. The condo itself is very clean and has everything that you need for your stay. We enjoy working with the owners. They have been very nice to us. We will use this condo again.

We love staying on the island of Kauai and at the Pono Kai. The condo was very comfortable and had everything we could ever need. This 2-bdrm condo is roomy and comfortable. It is on the ground level - easy access for anyone of any age. Washer/dryer and kitchen amenities were wonderful. Our family really enjoyed all the outdoor games and equipment available (bocce, croquet, volleyball, shuffle board, pool, and hot tub) on the property. The outdoor barbeque grills are wonderful. Fresh herbs available in the herb garden - so nice! We also enjoyed the beach supplies provided by the condo (beach chairs, beach towels, sand mats, cooler, boogie board, and other water/sand toys). Would highly recommend this unit.

Just back from my first visit to Kauai and really enjoyed your spacious condo with all its amenities. The washer/dryer was perfect as we did a lot of swimming and other activites. While there is no beach front access, there is a "baby beach" to the right of the condo and a walkable beach to the left. A surfing/body boarding beach is a about a five min car ride going North on Kuhio highway. Lydegate Park, under 10 min by car (going south), is perfect for shallow snorkeling. Old Kapa'a town offers lots of breakfast/lunch spots frequented by locals. Pono Market is a great place to buy ahi poki, lau lau and other Hawaiian favorites. Grocery shopping can be done at nearby Safeway, Foodland and Big Safe. If you go to Big Safe later in the afternoon, the shave ice at Hawaiian Blizzard is the best! Thanks for making our stay on Kauai a great one!

My wife and I stayed at the Hofheins condo for our honeymoon. It was the most amazing trip I have ever had. The condo is incredibly comfortable and very well decorated. As it is right next to the beach we would walk out our door and watch the breathtaking sunrise every morning. The condo is perfectly situated on the east coast. Which makes the drive to any destination on the island just a few short minutes. In fact there is a stunning waterfall and one of the best snorkeling areas only 5 minutes from the condo. Also within 2 minutes of walking are plenty of wonderful restaurants. Thank you Bryan, Arden, and Farrah for helping us have this experience, which we will never forget. Chris and Azy Capua

We had a great stay on the beautiful island of Kauai and it was in great part because of your condo. It was big enough for our family, centrally located, it was very nice furniture and well equiped kitchen. We had one little glitch and it was resolved IMMEDIATELY, it was wonderful service. Inside was great, grounds were beautiful, it was all good. I will be recommending it to friends.

The condo was spacious and had all of the necessities to make it a very comfortable stay. We enjoyed all of the amenities (croquet, shuffle board, pool, jacuzzi, putting green) of the resort. The staff there are great and the grounds are beautiful. It was wonderful to walk a few steps to the beach to watch the sun rise and check the tide pools for a variety of creatures. The location is terrific for travel any where on the island and the Old Town Kapa'a had numerous places to shop and dine. We hope to make it back there.

We loved staying at the condo. It is centally located to just about everything and an easy walk to town and the beach. We really appreciated all the free ameneties the condo complex had to offer like croquet and tennis. All in all a perfect vacation.

Thanks so much for the way in which you handled our stay at your condo. Indeed it was ideally located for dining, shopping and the ocean. While we were out more than we were in it, nevertheless, was nice to have a clean place at a resonable price to hang out. By the way,we found a coconut just outside the door. We shredded it and used it to roll our Talapia in for a fine dining experience. Thanks again.

Our stay at the Pono Kai was wonderful. The condo was perfect for our needs. The porch was great to eat breakfast on as we overlooked the gardens and ocean. It was nice having a kitchen to do breakfasts and lunches in. We loved being centrally located on the island. Whether we decided to travel to the north shore or head south, it wasn't much of a drive. Now we are just figuring out when we can go and do it again!

My husband and I and another couple stayed for 5 days in May,2007. The condo is spacious and well keptjust like the pictures,the grounds are nicely landscaped and pool area very nice. The beach is just a short walk through the condo grounds. One of the best things was the washer&dryer with all the supplies. There was security and that made it nice knowing the parking lot and condo's were being watched at all times. We would stay there again and not hesitate telling others,it was a great place.

Farrah, My wife and two daughters had a wonderful five days in your very well furnished and clean condo. The lower level was terrific for sitting outside in the morning and walking directly to and from the beach. A short walk into town for snacks and shopping make it a great location in Kapaa. I would not hesitate to recommend it to family and friends and will use it on our next trip back to Kauai.

This was our first time to Kauai, and oh what a beautiful Island!! The condo was beyond our expectations, 5 star quality linens and bedding, fastidiously clean, comfortable, and gorgeous. The Lanai was much bigger than you see in most hotels, and ocean front is definately what you get. The grounds were so beautiful, we knew we were in paradise everywhere we looked. It was wonderful to know that after a long day of exploring the north side or the south side, the central location didn't require any back tracking at the end of the day, and to relax in front of the plasma TV, while enjoying an evening snack or meal was bliss. I would definately recommend this condo to anyone wanting a central location, comfortable amenities and beautiful sunrises!

Had a wonderful stay at your condo! My husband, myself and our three daughters stayed for a week in November and found the accomodations perfect for our needs. A kitchen, laundry room, and ground floor was a must traveling with kids. The grounds of the complex were beautifully maintained and the staff at pono kai were very friendly and accomodating. While on the island we snorkeled, kayaked, and did alot of exploring which was great from this location due to it's central location on the island. Bryan & Arden, your new condo is far superior to any of the places Tricia and I have stayed in Kauai in the last twenty years (7 trips). It felt comfortable from the moment we arrived until we had to leave a week later. Kapaa is equal distance from both ends of the island which makes it easy to choose beaches, shopping, restaurants, golf courses, etc. The staff at Pono Kai was very helpful and accomodating. We give it an A+.

Our stay at the condo was great! Condo is spacious, quiet and resort's grounds are nicely done. Island is very beautiful and laid back. Just what our hectic lives need. If you're looking for alot of night life, this isn't the island for it. The helicopter ride is a must.

Bryan-I don't even know how to begin to tell you what a wonderful time we had in Hawaii I don't think I told you before, but the purpose of the trip was to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Your condo is so wonderful and we all agreed that Kauai was the favorite island of the two. We covered most all of the island, and were treated to some very special activities and sites. The cousin of our friend lives in Waimea, and she spent a day showing us things the average tourist would never have seen. We also took the helicopter tour and that was a highlight! We sure found it to be very comfortable and perfectly located. I could go on, but I really just wanted to thank you for allowing us to make Kauai such a memorable trip for us.
