  We really loved our stay here. We stayed May 14-19 and the weather was GORGEOUS. The house was beautiful and perfect for us, as we had 4 small children staying in the home (ages 4, 2, 1 and 9 months). I loved that there were so many games, toys and amenities to make life easier for us. The baby gates came in handy, as well as the kids' plates, cups, utensils and small table and chairs for kids to use in kitchen. So convenient not to have to bring games and beach chairs, and everyone loved the swings and hammock downstairs too! The elevator definitely made life easier as well. There were a few things around the house that didn't hold up too well from normal use, but for the most part we were able to fix them without having to call for help. Also, it would've been more convenient if a few other things were provided, like linens, towels, toilet paper, etc, but the rental agreement did state that we'd have to provide those items. Not a deal breaker by any means but since we were driving from TX, would've been nice not to have to bring those items. Overall, great trip, beautiful home.....we will be back!!

  We stayed in this beautiful ocean front home and had everything available to us that we needed for a terrific stay. The furniture was gorgeous and the house was very clean and sanitary. We usually see bugs that come with an ocean home but we never saw a single bug the entire stay! The owners were an absolute pleasure to work with and very patient with the hundreds of questions I had for them. There are children safety gates, a pack n play and so many toys we could not count them all. We had our own playroom set up for the kids when we arrived. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for an oceanfront home with all the amenities of home. Thanks and we hope to return to your home again! Jen

  My family and I were very happy with this rental. The description and pictures were accurate. The property was well maintained and clean. The house was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay there. We even enjoyed meeting the renters in the property connected to our rental. They were lovely and asked if we planned to come back next July 4th. We received our security refund promptly and we couldn't be happier with the experience.

  We had rented the property directly from the owners via contacting them through VRBO. Both the site and the owners were excellent and we had a smooth and perfect rental experience through both. Would absolutely recommend this property to anyone coming in to the Surf City area from out of town. We came in from FL and everything met our expectations and was exactly as described. Our son returned happily safe and sound and was able to relax and finally get some much need sleep in a warm and comfortable home.

  We love this beach house! The 5 bedrooms are perfect for my friend group and the elevator makes our loading and un-loading a piece of cake. The house is well appointed and a gorgeous view from every story. It is simply the best!

  Wonderful house!!! Owners were fantastic to work with very informative and prompt to respond. This 5 bed room ocean, 4 full bath + an outdoor shower gave us all the space we wanted for 3 families. This house is so versatile, you could do 5 couple get away, multiple families, or family reunions. House is beautifully decorated and as stated very clean. Extremely kid friendly and literally everything you need for vacation. Toys, beach toys and chair, grill, really nice kitchen fully stocked. We will continue to enjoy this fantastic home for years to come.

  My family and I loved this duplex. The bedrooms were perfect and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need. The house also provided a good number of beach toys and games as well as toys for the house. The main living area was accomodating for our size and my in-laws stayed in the top bedroom and were in love with their private deck area to get away from the buzz of the kids. The owners were great to deal with and were always quick to respond to any questions I had. I would highly recommend this house! We hope to stay here again in the future.

  This house was decorated beautifully, very clean, and the location is ideal! The house is close to the ocean so going back and forth is no big deal. The elevator was great for the unloading and loading of belongings to different floors. The best part of the house for me was that it was kid-friendly. I have a toddler who likes to escape so the extra baby gates fit the bill. The kids toys, the bunk bed, the swings, the sand toys, etc. really helped entertain my little boy. Another great feature was there was a TV in every bedroom (except the twin room) in case anyone wanted to escape the chaos. My brother and sister-in-law brought their little dogs and I think they spent the entire time on the deck sunning themselves! We would definitely rent this house again! Thank you!!

  We were so happy we selected this home for our fall family getaway. There was plenty of room for all of us and the kids were so happy to be 'right on the beach.' The house was super clean, beautifully decorated and well-maintained. Even with a day of rain we had plenty to do with the kids books/ toys /games and multiple tv's. We watched dolphins from the porch and made several trips to a nearby sea turtle nest - hoping to see them hatch. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a fabulous beach rental that allows pets. We also found a yummy restaurant that we plan to visit our next trip to Topsail.
