These two units located on beautiful Lake George are perfect for large or multi-family vacations. Here, your family will relax in the quiet, residential area of Pilot Knob, about 15 minutes drive from the Village of Lake George. While we are situated on the lake side, water views from the house are obstructed by other homes. The lake is a few hundred yards walk along a beautifully landscaped path next to the owner's house, also on the property. There are 180 degree views from our spacious large dock complex where guests enjoy boating, swimming, sunbathing, dining, and playing with their families.
The guest house is 1850 s.f of raised one-level contemporary living space with 3-bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for 6 persons. It features modern furnishings and many upscale amenities including a large "great" room with combined living, dining room, fully stocked kitchen with new appliances, and an adjacent sun porch. The house has central air conditioning or whole house attic fan for outdoor breezes. Bedroom 1 has a master king with its own bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed. Bedroom 3 has two twin beds. Bedroom 2 and 3 share a second bathroom. The unit features quality mattresses, linens, and plush towels. There is a brand new oversized washer/dryer inside the unit. Park in the private 2-car garage or our large outdoor lot.
The Maple Cottage is 1200 sq. ft. and sleeps 6 people in 1 king bed and 4 stacked bunk beds. This warm and charming cottage is decorated with rustic furnishings in an open living/dining area and has a fully equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms with showers. A washer and dryer is available on the property. The cottage deck has patio furniture including 2 tables, seating for 12, and 2 umbrellas. A gas grill is nearby for the perfect outdoor BBQ!
Down at the lake, the dock complex is one of the largest and nicest in the area with unparalleled views looking south, west, and north. The rental includes a 39-foot covered dock slip or uncovered slip for larger boats. Relax on a chaise lounge, sip a glass of wine at our outdoor bar, play games, and dine at the outdoor table. We also have a sandy beach perfect for young children, fantastic swimming, and storage areas complete with rafts, noodles, and other beach toys. There's even a full refrigerator to stock your cold drinks!
Party in the 3-bedroom garage space with a vintage pinball machine and jukebox loaded with 70's music on 45 rpm records! The units are behind our year round lake home and everything is kept in pristine condition. NO SMOKING OR PETS ALLOWED IN EITHER UNIT. The property has wireless internet and a generator that keeps the power going in all of our houses no matter what!
Due to the number of stairs inside the buildings and around the property, we are not handicapped accessible.

Lake George is a natural 32-mile long lake in the Adirondacks and is noted for its beauty and clean water. Swimming and boating on the lake are perfect summer activities and the surrounding green mountains make this lake like no other. My husband and I feel fortunate to wake up every morning to this stunning view, no matter the season.

My wife and I vacation in various areas throughout the country each year. We are very specific about our type of accomodations where ever we stay. Comfort, cleanliness, convenience and compatability are paramount in obtaining a sense of warmth and happiness with our choice of lodging. Let's face it, if you're going to spend good money for a vacation, one would want to get the best value for money spent. This Pilot Knob location is by far, an absolute jewel! The husband and wife owners/maintainers reside in their own home on the same lake front lot. They are two of the finest people you will ever meet. They make you feel like you've been their friends forever and their generosity is beyond comparison. These genuine personal attributes are what make renting one's property a complete pleasure. The house is as clean as a pin. Everything you could possibly need has already been addressed in the property. Furnishings, electronics, kitchen items, linens, towels, heat, AC, a garage...it's all here!!! The waterfront facilities; dock, raised deck, PFD's are all here as well and exceptional! One could return to this property every year and never tire of it. We were very fortunate to find this property, it's location and above all, it's wonderful owners. We will certainly return next season.
