  We rented the condo from Chas. for a girls weekend. We had 7 ladies sharing this 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath condo and it was spacious enough for everyone. Check-in was with the bartender from the on-site bar called Bar None. He was very helpful and informative. When we found out we only had 1 door key and 1 "fob" (more about fobs later) we explained that 7 ladies would be better served with more keys/fobs. He contacted Chas. and within an hour of arriving we received a total of 7 keys and 4 fobs. Fobs are necessary to get you in the building and pool area. This worked out for our group as were were usually in groups of 2/3. The theater and game room are just as pictured and we had fun utilizing the facilities. The lazy river and pool area are awesome! The beach/coastline was "swamped" with seaweed this particular weekend and it isn't bulldozed away near Diamond Beach. There is a nice sandy area in the fenced-in pool area and our group enjoyed playing paddle ball there. There isn't much shade by the pool and lazy river but there are cabana's that are available. The condo is at the end of the "sea wall". The sea wall is a massive concrete structure that runs from Diamond Beach all the way to the east end of the island. This is great for biking and walking on, especially when the sea weed is "high" - it was 3 feet high in some areas on the beach near the condo. Our group walked along the sea wall to Jimmy's pier one night for dinner. It is about a mile away. They have good fish tacos and wine and beer. The condo has 2 nice, full bathrooms, one with a separate bathtub and rain shower - it was tricky to get the water hot in the rain shower but one of the group figured it out. The master bedroom with king bed has two windows. The second bedroom with king has NO windows and the third bedroom with double bunk bed has one window. The half bathroom came in handy for our big group. The kitchen had everything we needed. We all had plenty of room to move around and sit around and visit. The balcony is awesome too. Chas. has recently updated his outdoor furniture and the bar height stools and table are awesome so you can see over the balcony rail. The glass on the balcony isn't easy to see through due to the salty sea spray - even on the 6th floor. All the windows could use a cleaning due to the salty sea spray and bird droppings. A couple of tips: Be sure to bring your own beach/pool towels and take your own blow dryer - there isn't one there.

  We really enjoyed the condo. The view is amazing and the amenities are wonderful. The property is well kept at the resort. The owner was very accommodating with a couple of items that needed to be fixed upon arrival. It took the owner a couple of days to get back with questions before our stay but was very available during our stay. The only thing I would say is that the floors need a good deep clean, we had a baby with us and he was all over the floor and realized it needed to be cleaned better. A little disorganized in the Master closet and a broken chair needed to be fixed. Also, no cable. Seems like a new converter box needs to be installed for it to work. Overall , we had a great time and a wonderful stay. We would def. rent again. I would recommend Gaido's on the Seawall, if you are vegetarian or Vegan they can accommodate you if you call ahead.

  I spent over a month planning a Spring Break trip for my daughter and her friends. We had 10 in the condo and plenty of room. The common area if very spacious and the deck is amazing! The kitchen had everything we needed as we ate most of our meals in. I am picky and the condo was clean and furniture and bedding nice! The pool is great as is the fitness room! Location is perfect for movies, restaurants and walking on seawall or beach! Chas is so nice and he has friends on-site to help w/keys and local suggestions. You will not be disappointed!

  We celebrated a 70th birthday on this trip and had family members ranging from 8-70yrs old present. We all enjoyed the property very much. The amenities at Diamond Beach were great. The gameroom was enjoyed by all and the private movie room was awesome. We also swam in the indoor pool several times. The view from the balcony was wonderful and we spent plenty of time in the mornings listening to the waves while having coffee. Overall it was a very positive travel experience.

  This condo was even better than we expected and we knew from other reviews that it was a great place. The condo has a modern but comfy feel. We celebrated a girls' weekend there in November and were able to fit 4 adults and 2 kids very easily in the unit. We enjoyed the convenience of having a kitchen and being able to cook a couple of meals each day. We reserved the private movie room and even used the indoor pool. Are already planning a return visit in the summer to be able to experience the happenings outside!

  If you're going to Diamond Beach you might as well rent the best condo on the property. This is where we will be staying from now on (unless a Penthouse unit becomes available). The balcony with this condo is huge and the view from the sixth floor is impressive. My wife and I have been vacationing in Galveston for many years and have rented everything from beach houses to rooms at well known hotel chains all over Galveston Island. The only thing I don't like about this condo is that I don't own it.

  Well, what can I say...except this time we stayed for an entire week and was so WORTH every second!!! Just read my previous review dated Oct 2010 and it sums it all up. All I can say is FABULOUS, GORGEOUS, OUSTANDING, WONDERFUL, TERRIFIC, etc. We shall return again real soon! Thanks again Chas for allowing my family and I to stay in your magnificant condo!

  A group of women that had graduated from high school together decided to celebrate their 60th birthdays this year. We looked at various locations and felt that this condo had everything we wanted. It was perfect! We loved the large open space with the living, dining, and kitchen areas combined. That way you never missed being with the action! The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and there were plenty of towels. Chas was wonderful to work with and made certain that our stay was perfect. The Diamond Beach property is lovely, we loved looking at the pool areas while sitting on the huge balcony. It was very easy to get to the restaurants and shops on the Strand; but it was nice to get back to our condo to visit. I would definitely recommend this condo and hope to return some day to enjoy it again.

  The pictures show exactly what you will be renting. Living area spacious. Balcony is large and has a great view of the Gulf. I would recomment this to my friends and family.
