Brisa Del Mar is located on the warm secluded beaches of the Sea of Cortez, just 2 miles north of the town of Los Barriles in the Hermosa Vista Subdivision. Architecturally designed with two “sails” extending from the roof, a feature which sets this home apart when viewed from the Sea. The rock arched walkway leads you to the front door, where upon entry you are mesmerized by the amazing view of the Sea. A wall of windows in the sunken living room with access to the lower patio and beach entry literally footsteps away. The kitchen, breakfast nook and dining area offer the same incredible views with access to the upper patio. Each bedroom features a view of the sea with a private patio entrance. A split bedroom floor plan allows privacy between guest bedrooms and the master bedroom suite.
Relax with a morning cup of tea or coffee on the veranda and be mesmerized by the spectacular morning sunrise. You may spot dolphin, whales or see rays performing their acrobatics with the incredible "plop,plop" as they spiral and spin back into the water. Or, after a day of beach combing, swimming, snorkeling, wind or kite surfing, sport fishing, ATVing, horseback riding or hiking; come home to relax and unwind with refreshments and beachside BBQs. Build a bonfire on the beach, awaiting the romantic moon rise out of the Sea; or, view the awesome star bright sky on moonless nights.
Our beaches are frequented by the home owners and visitors who live on the North Beach. We are far enough out of town as to not attract the multitude of tourists who visit the resorts in town. Yet you are a short 10 minute drive into town for restaurants and shopping.

Why the Owner Chose Los Barriles
We have been vacationing in the Los Barriles-Buena Vista area since the mid 1970s. We started fishing out of Rancho Buena Vista in 1977. In the mid 1980s we moved over to Hotel Palmas de Cortez, owned and operated by the Van Wormer family. After many years of enjoying the hospitality and lifestyle of the Resorts, we decided to make an investment in a beachfront home of our own. We love the Sea of Cortez, we love sport fishing, and we love the people and lifestyle in Los Barriles.

One of the most enjoyable benefits of staying at Brisas del Mar is sitting on the upper veranda at daybreak, watching the ever amazing transition of the seascape; from the crack of dawn to the spectacular rising of the sun, from the very edge of the earth, up and out of the Sea.

The highlight of this vacation experience for me was the feeling that you could reach out and touch the ocean from inside the home. The huge sunken living room offers expansive windows, and sits at beach level providing a distinct connection to the Sea of Cortez. This house is orientated in such a manner that allows for maximum privacy, and there is a sandy beach just steps away from the backyard. The residence is nestled at the end of a sparsely populated road. The feeling of "we are going to have fun" starts when you pull into the driveway, and continues as you enter the front door and see the endless aqua blue waters through the back windows. My girlfriend and I stayed at this wonderful beach front home, yet it is large enough for a big family-you cannot go wrong with this choice.

I had a terrific stay at this property, beautiful, clean & comfortable. The beach is wonderful, excellent fishing, it is the whole package! I have stayed here twice and both times I have had a great experience. There is nothing here to disappoint.

The stay at Brisa del Mar (casa) was one of our favorite vacations. The casa is located at the end of the road, 3 blocks off the main road and there is absolutely no noise or traffic. Making it perfect for listen to the rays putting on their "flopping show" in the evening, while enjoying a margarita. The sunrises are spectacular as the sun seems to rise out of the Sea of Cortez. Our primary reason for coming was to fish and we weren't diasppointed. On one day we caught and released 3 marlin and kept a dorado. Plus, we had numerous strikes and lost several marlin after hooking. After fishing, a brief stop at the Palmas del Cortez Resort for refreshments. Then to the casa for BBQing and more refreshments. We came for fishing but if you only want to get away and relax, this is the place. The casa is as comfortable as the pictures show. We will be returning.

I have stayed at the Naticchioni's beachfront home on several occasions. The listing description is right on, as verified by the photographs. The property is well maintained and sits right on the beach. The owners are very helpful in coordinating transportation from Los Cabos airport and have local contacts to maintain the property and act as resources to make your stay enjoyable. Los Barriles is home to a large sportfishing fleet with excellent fishing for marlin, dorado, tuna and other sportfish. If you are looking for a quiet beachfront experience, with nearby nightlife and wonderful sportfishing, you won't be disappointed with this location.

Gorgeous, beachfront property! A beautiful courtyard with banana trees, bougainvillea, plumeria and other beautiful/fragrant flowers welcome you into this meticulous three-bedroom, two-bath villa. There is a view of the Sea of Cortez from every room in the house! Almost every day, with a cup of coffee in hand, we watched the sunrise and the fishing boats head out. Later in the morning, we grabbed either our snorkel gear or the surfboard in the garage and explored up and down the coastline. From the patio we watched rooster fish, dolphins, and the entertaining rays on a regular basis. This convenient location is fabulous, just minutes from town for shopping, activities, and restaurants. The locals hooked us up with a great fishing Charter Company and we scored Dorado (largest was 62 lbs) and on the second trip out a Marlin (150 lbs). Take time and drive north up the coastline on the partially paved road to see the Bay of Dreams, it has the bluest water and whitest sand beaches I have ever seen! (Toss-in your snorkel gear). The owners are amazing people, and a joy to work with. We love Los Barriles and this villa, we will definitely stay again!
