Perfect for a ski trip with friends!
Perfect for a ski trip with friends!
My friends and I had a great time staying at this chalet over President's Day weekend! -It was clean and comfortable, and came with fun surprises like a dart board, air hockey table, and games. -The hot tub is AWESOME! - The location is super-convenient... just a 12 minute drive to the Mt. Snow slopes and a few minutes from Smokin' J's BBQ -- a must-visit if you like bbq. The owner was also very nice and responsive, and accommodated my request to pay via PayPal instead of check. This was my first time renting a house through VRBO, and I had a great experience. Highly recommend this property.

Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.
We rented this property with two other couples and we had a great time. The house was very nice and the hot tub was relaxing. It snowed while we were there so the skiing was great.

About the owner: We are a family of 4 from the New York area who are not professional landlords. We use and maintain the home for ourselves, and only rent occasionally, so it is very well taken care of.
Why the Owner Chose Wilmington:
The area is a wonderful country getaway, only 3-4 hours from New York, Boston and other metropolitan areas. Great skiing/boarding in the winter, and golf, hiking, fishing and mountain biking in the summer. Plus the fall foliage can't be beat!
The Unique Benefits at this Chalet:
The home is on a secluded, semi-private road on one full acre of property. The back of the home is a small mountain of state land, great for hiking and snow shoeing. The front deck has tremendous views of Mount Haystack, which you can enjoy while sitting in the 8 person hot tub!
