Why the Owner Chose The Mesa (Beach Area)

I purchased this beautiful home for a number of reasons: Location, location, location. Unobstructed ocean views, modern conveniences and minutes from the city center make it a great location.

Peaceful Oceanfront Home

We have a Sister's get together every year for our birthdays. We chose Santa Barbara this year and it was perfect. The weather was wonderful in the 60's and the location was fantastic. Patrick was wonderful ! He left information on local restaurants and activities in the area. The photo's do not do it justice. The property was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The rose garden was wonderful they were blooming and smelled so good. Sitting in the hot tub overlooking the ocean and the Islands were amazing. I would recommend this property to anyone who would like to kick off your shoes and open a nice bottle of wine and chocolates :) It was a perfect 4 day vacation for the Sister's and shopping in Solvang was wonderful, just in time for Christmas!

Happy Home on the Ocean

We stayed at this home over Thanksgiving, so we put the kitchen to the test! It, along with the rest of the home, passed with flying colors! Everything was wonderful, and the owner was so helpful and accomodating. The house has a spectacular view, and location. You just feel your worries slip away as you sit in the hottub looking out at the sparkling Pacific, or dine with friends and family at the dining room table....looking out over the ocean. Shoreline Park is right out the door, so you can start your day off with a walk or run right along the water, and mingle with the locals. The layout of the home is very balanced and soothing....open and bright, warm and friendly. It has great gathering spaces, comfortable beds and linens, and overall one of our favorite spots yet. We have been around the world, stayed in 5 star hotels and lots of VRBO's. One of our favorites! We will be back!

Santa Barbara home on the coast

Guest: Tom from Indiana (Indiana)
Date of Stay: 04/10/10 Review Submitted: 05/08/10

My friends and I had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful home for a week in April 2010. What a delight it was! The home was easy to find and to access, and met our needs beautifully. The owner anticipated our needs, and left instructions to help us accomplish all we needed, from tips on when to expect the gardener to brochures on restaurants and sightseeing opportunities. All of our interactions with the owner were helpful and pleasant. And there is so much to do in the Santa Barbara area, from touring the historic areas of the town to the wine country to the North. The restaurants are outstanding, and easy to reach from this well-situated home. But we also enjoyed just sitting outside looking at the ocean, watching the whales and other wildlife as they cruised by. The home was immaculate, and had beautiful grounds. The highly functional kitchen was our collecting place for breakfast, where we planned the day's outing, but we were unable to leave the house without enjoying a cup of coffee as we watched the day beginning over the Pacific. We consider this home a real "find" for us, and would heartily recommend it to others. In fact, we might want to come back ourselves!
