There's only a mango tree and 99 steps between your Villa with pool and our private dock on the sparkling Caribbean Sea. You have 260 degree views from your Villa's covered deck. Trade winds outdoors, ceiling fans in every room and additional AC in the bedrooms keep you comfortable. Sunbathe at our spa pool in the sun or shade surrounded by lush tropical gardens. Professionally maintained grounds offer unsurpassed beauty. Bananas from our plants are usually available. We are located at Spooky Channel within the Roatan Marine Reserve. The reef, just a short swim from our dock, allows for outstanding snorkeling and diving. There are millions of colorful tropical fish and colorful coral just off our dock.
Restaurants are nearby or eat in at our fully furnished kitchen. Enjoy a drink on the top deck of our dock and, if you are lucky, you will witness the 'green flash' just as the sun sets.
All Roatan has to offer is within easy access of the Villa in our centralized location in Sandy Bay. Our on-site manager can arrange car rental, scuba diving, deep sea fishing, bone fishing, island tours, and provide local knowledge and information. You only need a good book, bathing suit and some sunscreen to have a stress free memorable vacation. Airport pickup is available at a nominal expense.

We stayed at the Sunny Side Vista VIllas for a week recently. Other than the fact that the owners couldn't control the weather, we really enjoyed our stay. Chuck and Nancy arranged for our pick up at the airport, a stop at the grocery store, and on to our house. I can't say enough about the grounds! The landscaping is fabulous, and makes a great initial impression. The plunge pool is a very nice bonus! Chuck and Nancy met us at the house, showed us around, and answered lots of questions. The interior of the house is very nice, with fantastic tile work in the kitchen and baths. Everything was very clean, the house had all the kitchen necessities one could possibly need. The bathrooms were well appointed, with complete sets of bath towels in each, plus plush beach towels were on hand. The view from the huge wrap-around deck is awesome, right down to the waves rolling over the reef. It is a short walk through some tall grass, along a very well maintained path to the beach. The private pier is very convenient for snorkeling. You can walk half way out to the reef on the pier, instead of wading out over the sea grass. Snorkeling was nice, and the reef is right next to spooky channel. Taxis come frequently down the road, and it is only about 8 - 10 minutes to the busy town of West End, for a cost of about $5.00 for two people. So, you have your own little piece of quiet paradise, but it is very convenient to the restaurants, bars and dive shops. I definitely recommend staying in this exceptional house, with these exceptional hosts. Peace, quiet, nature, beach, and your own private plunge pool. What more could you ask for?Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

Chuck & Nancy's Vista Villa was a super find! We had never been to Roatan before, and as many others before us....very leery about what we might find. Their apartment felt more like a house! Very spacious and well stocked. 2 large bedrooms, 2 sufficient bathrooms, spacious kitchen with plenty of cupboard and counter space, full stove, micro &fridge! Living room had ample seating for our family of 4-children 6&12. No big screen TV...but not important to us, as we didn't go on vacation to sit and watch TV. (We watched a movie one night, and it worked just fine!). They provided Internet, so that was a plus, as the kids brought their iPads. Very close to the ocean...don't let the pic fool you, as you walk down their driveway, and BOOM...less than 4 minutes your on the beach! Pool is small, but not meant for water volleyball...just for relaxing after your day...PERFECT FOR US! One morning I woke up before sunrise, and gathered a bouquet of exotic flowers from their gardens...one morning Chuck cut down fresh coconuts, and we enjoyed those as well. Very hospitable owners..and if you get to Roatan...please rent from Vista Villas: YOU Will Not Regret it!!!! P.S. make sure Nancy tells you what FRESH Orange Juice to buy...as it mixes soooo well with RUM.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children.

The house was comfortable and spotless. Just a short walk to the beach to snorkel or the road to get a taxi meant we didn't need a car. Having a kitchen was great. We cooked about half our meals. We often saw snorkel or dive boats moored at the place we could easily swim to from the dock. Even the two or three days it rained were no problem, we just relaxed on the beautiful deck and took in the view and the sound of the rain on the bananas just outside. A great, relaxing week!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Vista Villa provided a very relaxing atmosphere do very very much to it's location and the amenties of the building. The unit is very comfortable for 4 people with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The water in the house is very good for all use and the filtered water was good to drink. The large surrounding deck gave you the extra room for sitting and relaxing, reading and evening happy hours. It also gave you the room to hang your wet gear from the days swimming, snorkeling and scuba activities. The owners, who live up stairs were more than accomadating with information sharing and best ideas to get the most out of this vacation. Chuck and Nancy also liked to share thier sunsets from the upper level with the evenings happy hour. They were constantly working on all kinds of different projects to maintain and improve the property. This was very obvious due to the condition, (clean, well maintained) of the property. There lots of activities you can experience on this Island. The snorkeling and especially the Diving are exceptional and is a must when visiting here. Zip lining over in West Bay was a gas. A trip about the island, by Van was fun, (Marty is a great guide) and when coordinated on the Friday so you can experience "Hole in th Wall" floating resturant with all you can lobster, is a must. Also doing a boat rental for the day ($100/person) to take you completely around the Island, with stops at ship wrecks to snorkel, pristene beaches to swim and sun, and finish off with some fishing, is a great way to spend a day and see the island. There are all kinds of resturants you can experience, from Tia food to aunthentic, and Chuck and Nancy can help with the best of the best. Sea food markets are readily available for your own cooking the the Villa. All in All this was a great place to vacation.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
