  Fair Winds was exactly as advertised. Absolutely perfect location with a very short walk to both beach and center of town. The cottage was perfect size for our family of 4. I look forward to spending more time at Fair Winds in the future. I will definitely recommend to all my friends.

  My husband and I spent a week in Fair Winds cottage in October. It was delightful. The location was across the short street from the beach and a couple of blocks from town center. All the living area is on one level, which is perfect for us, along with a small loft and lookout balcony. The wrap around porch was fun for watching street activity. Mark and his staff were very pleasant and professional. We will be back!

  We (family of 4 and 2 grandparents) stayed for a week at this very clean and well appointed house. We all had ample room as far as sleeping and relaxing areas. The house is very tastefully decorated and comfortable, we loved the bright colors and decor and the wonderful wrap-around porch. As far as location, we have stayed many times in Seaside and this was one of the best locations as far as beach walking/toting everything there. The only con about the location was that the master bedroom faced 30A and could get very noisy at night and early in the am with people walking by on the sidewalk. Since we are early risers this was not so much a problem in the am but did awaken us several times at night. The mattress in the master bedroom could use a replacement, it was clear just on site before we ever slept in it that the king mattress had 2 well formed dips on each side where most had slept. If you didn't sleep in those areas, you felt as if you were going uphill. The second downstairs bedroom mattress was a little hard according to my in-laws but I am sure that goes with whatever preference one has. Our children loved the upstairs bunk room and slept very well there. We were very pleased on arrival to note that the kitchen had an ice maker with the freezer and a separate free standing one. Since we are a beach family and spend most of our time there, this was a pleasant surprise to find since it would provide ice for the ice chest for the day-long beach trips. Unfortunately by Tues. (3 days after we arrived) the free standing ice maker stopped working. We had not used the freezer one since we had the other and upon trying to switch to that one, it did not work either. I called Sandpiper Rentals and they said someone would be out to fix it soon. A very nice gentlman (sorry I forgot his name) came and brought 2 large bags of ice and checked the ice-makers. There was nothing he could fix so he said a repairman would come the next day. He continued to bring us ice every day which we appreciated. I don't know why but no repairman ever came or was mentioned again but we had enough ice with what was brought daily. Being a one story house was great for my elderly inlaws. The many board games that we all enjoyed playing will make great memories. Seaside is such a special place, thanks for a memorable vacation and sharing your home with us. We would definitely reccommend this house with a fixed ice maker and better mattresses as improvements.

  We had a great vacation with our 6, 3, and 1 y/o children. Sonshine Blessings offered plenty of space for us all to spread out and get great sleep. Upon arrival the house was very clean. It has such great access to the beach (which makes a huge difference with little kiddos) and just a few blocks from the Seaside town square. The home has a great beachy decor and was relatively kid safe. We only used our car twice, one time being a trip to the Publix that is 1 mile away. The house has a great ice maker, a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds/furniture, and beach toys, chairs, and umbrellas that were provided. We grilled out a few nights, so it is doable but not the greatest grill if you are going to be making massive amounts of food. You need to bring your own beach towels and will also need to plan on doing multiple loads of laundry if you want clean towels throughout the week. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars is that I really felt like we could have used a "mid week" housekeeping visit (towels, refresh amenities, garbage bags, etc). All in all, a great vacation. We would love to stay at Sonshine Blessings again.

  We loved this little Seaside home. Very quaint, very convenient and close to both Seaside and the beach. We will definitely stay there again.

  We had a great week staying in Sonshine Blessings. The cottage was very clean and just as described on the web site. We had everything we needed. It was nice that there were beach chairs we could use. The location was very convenient to the beach and local restaurants. We really like the Great Southern Cafe. We would recommend this property to others and would be interested in renting it again.

  This is a very cozy home, right across the street from the beach, and 2 blocks from the town square of Seaside. Our favorite part of the house was the location. We took our 4-5 minute walk there every day, sometimes even twice. Close enough not to need strollers. Access to beach and Seaside with toddlers (4, 3 & 10 months) couldn't have been easier. Our older two slept in the loft (stairs are a tad steep, but we had no falls or problems with them) and our littlest in the guest bedroom downstairs. Everything we needed besides groceries was there. Kitchen fully stocked, even trash bags, paper towels, etc. Laundry area even had detergent, ironing board/iron. There are clothes hangers in the bedrooms, hampers, and extra blankets. We were very comfortable the whole time. The decor is cute and homey, very beachy and friendly. The covered porch and swing were also such a well-used area. The bathrooms were great, we switched with the kids and used the guest bath since the master bath is where the tub is. We would stay here again, especially coming with kids.

  This home is even better in person! The location is perfect - just a quick walk across the street to the beach makes it easy to go back and forth. The house is well equipped with beach chairs, 2 bikes, beach toys for kids, a fully stocked kitchen and even an ice maker! We've vacationed in seaside for several years now and this is definitely one of our favorite places!

  Owner response: Bikes are not included with this rental. These bikes were the owners and were left unlocked. There are several places to rent bikes nearby though. Thanks!

  If you want to go to the "ideal" place you would ever want to visit or live, this is the place you need to be at. I have been going to Seaside for 20 plus years, and this cottage is the best place to be! Not only is it comfortable, darling and totally "beachy", it is just a couple of steps away from the most beautiful beach in the world. This cottage offers everything you would want, plus!! It is the place i would love to live full time. It is beautifully decorated with everything you could totally need or want. I would highly recommend this beautiful place to visit!!
