Perfect vacation condo in Wailea

We have been frequent vistors to Hawaii over the past 10 years and this was, without question, the most beautiful and comfortable accommodation we have experienced. We loved the condo's location in Wailea, an 8 minute stroll from shops, restaurants and beaches. Joes restaurant at the tennis club(less than 5 minutes walk) was first class. We also enjoyed several others, including Mulligans (go to see Willie K's fantastic show), Sansei, Cuattro and, for lunch, Pita Paradise and Coconuts were our favorites. Makena beach is beautiful and usually quieter than Wailea beach which can be crowded. If you have a shell collector in your family, Makena is the place! If you like shopping for souvenirs, shop around! The prices can vary a lot! We mostly organised our own fun by hiring an ocean kayak, snorkel equipment and a scooter.All are available at reasonable prices in Kihei. We did do a couple of organised activities and everyone's favorite was the Atlantis submarine trip out of Lahaina. Maui is a fabulous vacation spot in every way and the owners of this condo have made sure that you have everything you could possibly need to make your trip not just comfortable but absolutely perfect. We will certainly recommend this condo to friends and family.

Great spot and location. Really like units close proximity to pools and BBQ. Stayed at a few other places and really perfer GC. Close to beach but away from road noise. Ocean view from Lani and fairly private as backs on too golf course. It's our first call when ever we are coming back to Maui.
Recommended for:Families with young children.

This is NOT your ordinary vacation rental. The pictures and descriptions don't do justice to the overall experience that we enjoyed staying at the Grand Champions and this specific condo. My husband and I live in a beautiful beach resort in California, so we weren’t sure what our trip to Hawaii would be like. While the beaches, golf and the local cuisine did not disappoint us, we absolutely loved staying at this beautifully decorated and well maintained condo. So much so, in fact, that we came home and tried to duplicate some of the décor that we found in our extraordinary quarters. Everything, and more, was included at the condo from candles to music, to professional cookware in the kitchen and beautiful amenities in the master suite. The pool and golf course right outside the complex made it easy for us to be active but also allowed us to enjoy being at “home" sitting out on the lanai and enjoying the views. We baked, barbequed and walked to the local restaurant. We were also able to visit the pristine beaches and gorgeous Hawaiian landmarks knowing that we could return anytime to the comforts of "home." On our "off tourist" days, we swam and golfed at The Grand Champions and pretended that we lived there full time. We can’t wait to return!

We have been coming to Hawaii since the late 70's and this condo is by far our favorite place to stay. The owners have provided everything possible to make your stay comfortable. They have remodeled and everything is up to date including a guest bathroom with marble and travertine! The appliances are new and it is tastefully decorated. It has central air conditioning, high end thread count sheets, a computer and printer, beach accessories. It provides views of the ocean, mountains and golf course. It is in a great location for shopping and restaurants, and wonderful spas. It is exceptionally clean and well cared for. The owners are delightful people to work with and if asked will share some of their favorite places to dine and beach spots. Once you have stayed here you will want to return again.
