  My wife and I stayed in Mark's lakefront paradise for a week from August 6-13. Our son and his friend joined us for a few days, and we had a great time. We really liked the home as the living area is on the second floor which gave us continuous fabulous views. The deck is big and private and we ate several meals out there. The East shore is a good place to stay as you get terrific sunsets and views of Mt. Lassen. It was great having the dock and buoys for our boat, as we jumped in our boat and took off anytime we wanted. Boating to Prattville for breakfast and Plumas Pines for dinner or cocktails is the ONLY way to go. Mark was extremely accommodating and the place was clean and as described. We would like to return someday. I would certainly recommend this place as a great vacation spot on Lake Almanor!

  After our visit last year, we returned for another week. The house is in great shape, eveything worked, very clean. Next time we will wait until a bit later in the year, as the lake water was not as warm as we would have liked.

  We enjoyed a peaceful, sunny weekend at this lakeside getaway! Loved the open floor plan of the upstairs area. It let us spend some quality time enjoying meals and playing games together. The deck is wonderful with a gorgeous view of the lake and Mt. Lassen, great for relaxing with a book or entertaining ! Everything was tidy and in great condition. No complaints!

  My family thoroughly enjoyed their lake vacation. We had a great time swimming, fishing, and just relaxing. The home offered everything we needed, and was clean and neat. Will certainly return for another visit and will recommend this spot to friends and other family members.

  Spent a very relaxing and restful six days and would highly encourage anyone to take advantage of this wonderful location. The view from the deck overlooking the lake with the mountains and Mt. Lassen in the distance was fabulous. Enjoyed walks and hikes in the local area. The home is most inviting and the resources for supplies in the area are great. The local people are most welcoming and one feels very much at home. I highly encourage this fantastic home and location for that much needed escape you are in search of.

  We stayed in this property for 7 nights. The location is great, not too close to the road so it is quiet, but right on the lake for spectacular views. The interior of the house is comfortable, plenty of space, fabulous deck, better than expected. Everything is in good working order, very clean, reflects pride of ownership. We will definitely be staying at the same house again. Highly recommended.

  Owners SO accomodating, very tidy and spacious, place was even nicer than appeared from photos. Great family time together; hope to go back again and again
