  Our family a great stay & family reunion at this property! The home was clean, well maintained & accurately represented in the listing pictures & description. Plenty of space for all. The kitchen is large & well stocked. A crib, Pack'n'Play & high chair were a big plus for a family with small children. The owner was responsive to our questions & needs. This property is in a great location within the Northstar resort, Close to the resort village, downtown Truckee & Kings Beach. The Northstar village offers activities for all & our family enjoyed many of them! We would highly recommend!!

  Home is exactly as described and even better, in fact. Very clean. Gourmet kitchen has newer, stainless appliances and is well equipped with cooking accessories. Off the upstairs master there is an additional room with a crib and futon. Really nice bedding and comfortable beds throughout. Location within Northstar was very easy to get to. There is also a hiking trail behind the house. What I really appreciated too was the responsiveness by the owner. She was great at responding to emails and answering questions. It felt like she was on top of things. Very reasonable rental price and terms for what you get. Hope to stay there again!

  We recently stayed at this home for a family reunion. Other relatives rented homes in Northstar but this was by far the best one. We had a wonderful stay. There was plenty of space for people to relax and enjoy the outdoors and the indoors. The grand piano was a wonderful plus. I can't say enough about the kitchen and how well it was equipped. It was a joy to cook in the kitchen when we were not eating elsewhere. The thought of two washers and dryers seemed excessive but we soon realized how great that was, especially with having an infant with us. The crib room off the master bedroom worked out perfectly for our six month old granddaughter. The owner was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. I would recommend this home to anyone who visits Northstar.

  My friends and I recently stayed at this home for MLK weekend and it was simply fantastic! The property looks just like the pictures. The kitchen was stocked all the needed household items. The master bedroom was really nice. The home is centrally located off of the freeway and very close to Northstar. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable, open, floor plan. I would defintely stay here again

  Wonderful home shared with 3 other small families. Description and photos of rooms are accurate. Main MBR also has attached bonus room with infant crib and futon bed, and dining room has an infant feeding chair. Main MBR has a HUGE gorgeous bathroom. Nice 1/2 bathroom on main floor. Linens and towels were all included, body wash, hair dryers, liquid hand soap were available - all you have to bring is your clothes, food and basic toiletries (toothbrush/toothpaste, shampoo/conditioner, etc). Kitchen is large and has all you need to cook with large sink, cabinets full of dishes/utensils and even condiments (ie. soy sauce, ketchup, salt, peppper, oil, spices). Nice trash compactor and high quality dishwasher as well as microwave and 2 high quality ovens available. Large LR with fireplace with large TV, grand piano, large couch with coffee table/trunk with some games/puzzles inside although not sure if all pieces present to play them but our kids were too young to play with them anyways. We tried to start the fireplace but didn't have kindle to maintain the fire or just don't know enough to keep fire going, but there was firewood available. Lower floor has the other 4 BR/3 baths with laundry room with 2 high quality washers and dryers - so fancy it took me a while to figure how to use. Beds were very comfortable to sleep on. Also has door leading to the garage that has room to park 2 cars with lots of driveway space to park other cars. There is slight slope from the main street up the driveway to enter the house from the front door or the garage. This place has WiFi with included password. Includes recreation pass where the kids went to outdoor family spa (very warm/hot) at the recreation center for $2/person with the pass. Very convenient to stay at Northstar and the shuttle is all automated and you call and they come pick you up within 5 minutes. Northstar has free outdoor skating rink for $5 skate rental, outdoor bungy trampoline for $12 for 5 min, restaurants (we ate at Rubicon) and expensive shops. 30 minute driving time to Soda Springs resort for the younger kids to ski/snowboard/go tubing at Planet Snow Kids - less expensive than Northstar for kids who don't want to be dropped off to ski school and are beginners. HIGHLY recommend this place to friends, esp with families with young kids. The owner was very fast in responding to e-mails, and very accomodating. Great deal/attractive price for location and size of home.
