We spent our holidays in this condo. The condo was really beautiful - everything that you need was there! The view of the condo ... just amazing! We have seen whales... went schnorkeling with the turtels. We had some questions during our stay and we contacted Valerie the owner, she helped immediately. Thanks on this way! We would recommend this condo to everyone!

We just finished a short but very enjoyable stay at Valarie and Trent's Maui condo. Spectacular weather coupled with incomparable views made our stay a most memorable one. Updated with top of the line furnishings, comfortable beds, and a full compliment of toys ensure a restful, fun filled vacation. We look forward to future visits. J&P

What a view!

What a great condo with an incredible view! We just returned home from our Maui Vacation and already miss the morning coffee to start the day and the cold drinks in the evening to end the day out on that lanai. The condo is very clean and well stocked. Felt like home away from home. The grounds are beautiful too. Enjoyed walking around in the evening just admiring the tropical trees, plants, and koi ponds. The owners are very nice and easy to work with as well. Thanks Valarie.

This place was perfect! Right by the water, great view of two other islands, close to shopping, & close to a bunch of great places to eat! Highly recommend this location.

We had such an amazing week in Maui and your condo was a big factor in that!! What a beautiful place. After a LONG day of travel, we walked in your front door to see one of the most gorgeous sunsets off of your lanai. Your unit is in a perfect location on the Papakea resort. We loved the corner, top floor unit with beautiful views. The pools were nice to relax around and we used the grills many times during our stay. Valarie, you were a great help with coordinating our stay and answering my questions before we arrived. Thank you for that!

This unit is the best possible unit you could stay in at Papakea. It is on the top floor and on the corner... It overlooks the ocean versus overlooking grounds or the pool. It is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT for any reason for a getaway. I loved drinking coffee on the patio every morning- and we saw dolphins parade by one morning! I have been twice to this condo and cannot wait to go back. Thank you so much!!!

Beautiful...but a bit toasty

My husband and I stayed in this condo for a week in March 2011 with some friends of ours. We LOVED the view and how quiet the condo was. We really loved almost everything about the place. The only negative thing we found was that the bedroom in the loft gets very hot and never really cools down, even with the AC running all day in an attempt to cool the loft down, it was still super hot at night. While this bothered us, one should also take into account that we live in washington state, we're used to our home being around 60 degrees at night. While the hot nights bothered us, for many people, this condo would be a great stay for a wonderful vacation.

One thing nice about our location is that you can get a nice "cross breeze" if you just leave the sliding glass window open and the front door in the early morning hours and the evening hours. Another thing that helps is closing the blinds during the afternoon hours. It keeps it cool inside. When we are there, no matter what time of the year, we never even need the air conditioner, because of this nice cross breeze. I wonder if you turned on the whole house fan in the upstairs? Your is our first 4 out of 5 stars, so I guess that isn't too bad! Glad you had a good time on your trip, and that it was quiet and cozy! Isn't that view just amazing?

I wanted to thank you for the wonderful time we had at your condo. It was beautifully decorated, and located in the nicest spot on the entire resort! The views were absolutely stunning, and the weather was perfect! We loved looking over the beach, watching the wind surfers, dining out on the lania and of course the sunsets! You have done an amazing job with your unit, and we will definitely want to return!

Your condo is simply amazing!! The kitchen had everything we needed, boogie boards and snorkeling gear were a fun find, the lanai was perfect for whale watching and viewing amazing sunsets, comfortable beds, and a quiet location on the 4th floor. The photos and video depicted the condo perfectly, however, it is much more beautiful in person. We could not have asked for a more perfect place to stay in Maui. We will definately recommend your condo and we also hope to stay again someday! Thank you!

Great Vacation

We stayed in your condo in April, 2010. We rented the one next door as well and had our entire family including grandchildren with us. Our week could not have been more perfect. This is the second time we have rented your condo and loved it both times. The first time we rented through Papakea. Your condo is lovely with all the ammenities we could have possibly needed or wanted. We spent a great deal of time on the lanai and totally enjoyeed the beautiful view. We enjoyed a dinner at Kanapauli Shores and a lunch at Duke's. Both were very good. Our experience both in arranging the rental and being there was perfect! Thanks so much for helping us in planning this PRICELESS vacation.

I just wanted to let you know how much we appreciated your letting us stay at your home in Maui over Christmas. The photos on VRBO captivated me and your place was everything I had expected and more. What a beautiful spot you have!! It was the perfect place to spend our Christmas enjoying the sea, the sun, the surf, the sunsets and all that was just from the lanai. Our Christmas Day 2009, truly was one we will never forget as we drove to Jaws (near Paia) at dawn on Dec. 25 to watch the surge and accompanying 30 - 50 foot waves and the surfers that can actually venture into that scenario. There is so much to see and do that we will definately have to come back. Thank you, Valarie for opening your home and making our first family trip to Maui such a wonderful experience.

We've stayed at the Papakea on a previous vacation and other condos don't compare. This is a corner unit with a 90 degree ocean view. Absolutely beautiful inside and out! Highly recommended.
