We've total renovated unit 1211 and we are excited to share it with your family. Designed and decorated with your every need and want in mind. It's all new! Everything painted, new tile flooring throughout with tile wainscoting on bathroom & laundry room walls plus tile baseboards to ensure that the unit is clean and sanitary for your family.

We've added extra storage cabinets in both bathrooms and more towel racks and robe hooks for your convenience. You will even find wooden clothes hangers and extra storage racks in the closets. Nothing has been forgotten. Your stay will be perfect!
As you enter the condominium you will feel right at home. The decor is upscale but relaxing. The kitchen, dining room and living room are open and inviting with high ceilings and floor to ceiling views of the Gulf.
This unit has it all! In the living room you will find a state-of-the-art 37' LCD television, a Blu-ray player and 5.1 Dolby Digital surround sound so that you can gather the family for a great movie. The main stereo has iPod integration and master bedroom speakers available with the flip of a switch. If you have 'gamers' in the group, there's even a game port extension cord wired to the TV so that connections to your game console can be made easily in front of the TV.
The luxury kitchen, with granite counter tops & a designer sink, has everything you need and want to prepare that gourmet meal. All utensils, cookware, dinnerware, and small appliances are brand new. We are sure this kitchen will meet your dining and/or entertaining needs.
There is a pantry with plenty of shelves, plus cabinet storage galore. There is a breakfast bar with seating for three. The dining room table is table height and comfortably seats six.
The laundry room, with its wainscoting and many hooks, is the perfect spot for all your beach gear. There is a full-size washer and dryer complete with laundry baskets and plastic hangers for those who like to return home with clean clothes.
The master bedroom features a king-size canopy bed with a plush-top mattress and lots of pillows. The colors are warm and inviting. Beautiful lamps on each bedside table invite you to crawl into bed to read or to watch the 32' LCD TV which has built in DVD, and plays audio CD's and mp3 discs.
The guest bedroom features a plush-top queen-size mattress, lovely bedding with lots of pillows and it's own 26' LCD TV that has a built in DVD player and also plays audio CD's or mp3 discs.
The bunk room is truly private and not just two bunks in a hallway. There is a chest for storage and fabulous bedding! These bunk beds DO NOT have the standard bunked mattresses. They have twin 10' plush-top mattresses which will comfortably sleep adults. The bunk room also has dual 22' LCD TV's with DVD players so that each bunk has it's own TV. There's a great stereo DVD/CD/MP3 player capable of providing amazing sound for your entertainment.
The bunk room and guest room share an updated guest bath which joins the guest room and opens to the hallway as well.
Remember, all linens are furnished, so all you need to bring is a beach towel or two.

I have used vrbo for many years and have never had a bad experience. But THIS CONDO WAS BY FAR my favorite in Gulf Shores and at The Lighthouse. It is updated very tatsefully and is very clean. The owners took great care in utilizing space better than any I've seen and put thought and care into making this an enjoyable home away from home for an extended stay. Didn't need the bunk room but if you have kids or even extra adults the beds in this room are not typical! They are full size twins with excellent bedding. The balcony is large and has 2 chaise loungers and table/4 chairs and still plenty of room to move around. Owner was very helpful and answered promptly when needed. If you're new to VRBO or Gulf Shores, trust me, you will not be disappointed if you rent this condo. I will return!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

This condo is fabulous and exactly as shown in the listing. The upgrades like the beautiful tile floors and granite counters make this an elegant condo. We enjoyed the great view from the balcony and had our coffee there every morning. The recliners in the living room were great and the beds were very comfortable. The condo was very clean and well maintained. The owner was very helpful to us since this was our first VRBO rental. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone visiting Gulf Shores.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.

Thank you so very much for allowing us to stay in your beautifully decorated condo. The granite countertops throughout were gorgeous. The condo was extra clean when we arrived. The condo was decorated to my taste, very calm and relaxing colors with update furnishings. The beds were so very comfortable, I couldn't wait to go to sleep at night. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. We ate breakfast and lunch in the condo everyday. Tuesday and Wednesday nights I cooked dinner and found everything that I needed in the kitchen. My son was so impressed by the bunk room, he had to try both beds out as well as both TVs. At night everyone went back to their bedrooms, with privacy, to watch their particular TV shows. During the day the pool and beach were so accessible, we never had to go anywhere. I also took advantage of the workout room to walk on the treadmill and look out upon the beach in air conditioning. The kids loved the pools. I searched high & low for the best pools on the beach and this was it. Hey, just wanted to let you all know that we really enjoyed your unit at the Lighthouse. The kids wanted us to take the bunk beds home, a very good use of the space. You all did a great job with the decorating and the trip will probably force us to upgrade our mattress. We have been home for a couple of hours and the kids already want to go back. We had a great time at the Lighthouse and your condo. Sad that the oil had started to come in some but for all but one day of our trip the beaches were fine with only scattered tiny oil spots. The condo was great, nicely furnished, best equipped kitchen of any condo we've been in. We rented at the Lighthouse the first season it opened and we thought it was great! While looking for a condo to buy, we visited quite a few other properties but kept coming back to The Lighthouse because we felt it offered the most amenities and the best location for our family and our guests.
