    My wife, 5 year old daughter, and I stayed with Siggi and Linda the first week of April for 4 days. It is the perfect spot to see and do everything in Reykjavik. The apartment is great, the neighbors are wonderful, and it feels like home whenever you're there. It doesn't get any better. It's just a great place. Larry H. Rude Washington, DC USA

    I stayed here almost two weeks this October. The apartment could not have been anymore perfect! Great location, fantastic space, clean, & cozy! A short walk in the city. The owner was so genuinely nice to me & I could not be more grateful. I can't wait to come back & stay here again!

    I would highly recommend this great apartment for your stay in Reykjavik. It's conveniently located right behind Hallgrimskirkja, which made for an excellent point of reference when we got turned around in the city or returning from a day trip. The street is very quiet, but still a quick walk to any downtown attractions, shopping, or dining. There was always plenty of street parking available right outside the building. Siggi was very prompt and professional with returning all emails and inquiries. We really enjoyed our time in Reykjavik and it was made all the more better that we had a nice apartment to come "home" to each day.

    Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

    My family stayed here for 5 days in July 2011. The owners are very responsive to emails and friendly as well in person! The apartment is beautiful, as the pictures show. Very roomy and comfortable. The location is perfect...about a 10-15 minute walk to anywhere you want to go, so you do not need a car. Quiet neighborhood, and close to so much sightseeing in Reykjavik. Definitely give this apartment a try and you will not regret your choice. I would recommend it to anyone in my family, as well, if they travel to Iceland in the future. We absolutely loved it and you will as well!

    We immensely enjoyed our stay in this third floor apartment with a birds eye view of Reykjavik and the landmark church containing what surely must be the World's largest pipe organ. The apartment was fully furnished with all of the ammenities and the owners had left their personal library, artwork etc in place, so it felt very much like home. Also we found the apartment/condo complex to be quiet and in an excellent location to catch the main roads out of the City. It was merely a short walk across a park and another two blocks to reach the quaint shopping area. Should we return to Iceland on another visit, we would definitely arrange to stay here again.

    Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing.

    We couldn't have asked for a better way to stay in Reykjavik. The apartment is comfortable, spacious, and pleasant. My husband and I stayed here with another couple and we never felt like we were tripping over each other. The beds were comfortable and the towels plentiful (very important for all of the pools - we plan to hit them all next time). Siggi, who has been immensely helpful during the set-up phase, met us at the apartment on the first day, showed us the blue book of helpful hints, and left us to our week of Icelandic exploration. The location, like I said in the title, is unbeatable. Reykjavik is a wonderful walking city and this apartment is in the heart of it. Hallgrímskirkja, the church you see in on of the pictures, is visible for miles. We were never lost. I would fully recommend this place and thank Siggi and Linda for setting it up so nicely. Side note: it's a quick walk up the street to Cafe Babalu, where you can get delicious coffee (all coffee in Iceland was top notch) and an amazing ham and cheese crepe. Yum!

    We were so sad to leave! We had such a great time in Reykjavik and the apartment was a cozy home away from home. Having all the amenities of home made the week that much more enjoyable! The location of the apartment was fantastic and we were able to many of our favourite places. We enjoyed a couple of excursions with Reykjavik Excursions (the bonus is we could walk over to the bus terminal from the apartment).We saw the Northern Lights and The Golden Circle. The shops and restaurants of Reykjavik were great. Our favourite cafe was Babalu! Thanks for the memories, we can't wait to be back!

    I stayed here with 3 friends over the time of Iceland airwaves. The apartment is spacious through the living an dining room although the bedrooms are a little on the small side so we kept our luggage in the dining rooms so we'd have room to move around the beds. The apartment was very light and had a great TV with a ton of movies that we watched a few of when we just wanted to chill. The Kitchen was exceptionally nice- very new with quality cooking tools and plenty of counter space. Siggi was extremely nice to book with and very accomodating of our needs (early check in). The location is a little bit far from Laugavegur (the main street) but is very near the church which is a great landmark to aim toward if you don't know your way around.

    We stayed there a total of 3 nights (divided into 2 trips) as this was a stopping point for us on our way to France. Although the street it is located on as well as the exterior of the building is drab, the location is centrally located (a residential block) and the inside of the unit is much better than would be expected from the outside. Siggi was extremely accomodating in terms of early arrival/staying late and this was very much appreciated.

    5 of 5 We spent three nights in the apartment and had the best travel experience ever! Siggi met us at the apartment on our arrival and was very helpful with local tips. The apartment had everything we needed - books, linens, staples in the kitchen (dishes, cookware, food staples such as oil and salt). The apartment building is well situated, in walking distance to the city center, supermarket and town pool. There was plenty of parking space on the street. Overall, it was great experience and we would definetly recommend the apartment!

    We had a marvelous stay in this apartment, and only wish we had stayed longer. The location is fantastic: in the center of town, but still very quiet. The apartment is very comfortable, fully renovated, and very tastefully furnished. The value-to-cost is terrific. The only downside to the apartment for more than 2-3 people is the single bath, but that is minor. We were thrilled.

    Clean, bright, pretty, well-maintained and spacious apartment right in the centre of the City. Close to the Bus Depot, one of Reykjavik's hot pots/swimming pools, Hallgrímskirkja, grocery stores and the shopping district. Perfect for people who like to walk in the city. Four of us stayed in the apartment and all of us loved Reykjavik. The city was very hip and we spent a lot of time walking near the habour, at the Perlan, the city pond, and in the shopping district at amazing record stores like 12 Toner. We found the kitchen and dining room a perfect size for us. There were pots and pans for cooking so that we could easily self cater (perfect for vegetarians or vegans anxious about eating in Iceland). Siggi was very helpful in answering our questions and I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Iceland. We plan on returning soon and would love to stay here again.

    This wonderfully accommodating apartment in is just 2 blocks from the most "happening" street in Reykjavik. Situated just far enough to not hear the late night party goers, but close enough to join them and retreat when necessary! Situated just far enough to not hear the late night party goers, but close enough to join them and retreat when necessary!
