  This Condo is AMAZING!!! We were here celebrating my Dad's 60th Birthday and our first time ever to Hawaii! This condo is EXACTLY as described on the listing...even BETTER!!! Totally exceeded our expectations. The view was fantastic and we saw whales every single night right from our balcony. I can not say enough positive things about this rental experience. Def a top notch rental!

  We had a wonderful stay in your home. It was everything that was advertised. It was central to all of our wedding related events. We could see the whales every day. The walks along the shore are fabulous. Thank you very much.

  We rented this unit the week of July 1, 2012. It exceeded or expectations...spotless, tastefully decorated, fully updated with first class furniture, appliance and equipment, comfortable bedding, and a great view. Delightful. Our son rented a unit at the same time down on the first row on the water...it was not updated and he was very disappointed with it.

  Have been to Maui and the Kapalua area many times. Was very pleased with the overall condition of the condo. This unit is very tastefully decorated and is definately a high-end remodel. The kitchen is great and was very well appointed again with high-end appliances, utensils, serving dishes, and cookware, etc.. The view from the unit is great. Great location within the Bay Villas that is close to the pools and to beach access. We had a great time staying here and hope to return.

  Let me get the administrative stuff out of the way first. The listing description is inaccurate. The Villa is much nicer than described. The photos do not accurately reflect the appearance of the Villa and its amenities. They're much nicer than the pictures. The property was clean and in perfect condition, the owner was delightful to deal with as was the property manager (we had one minor issue which was immediately addressed) and I would enthusiastically encourage others to rent this Villa even if it means I wouldn't get to use the property when I wanted to. As you might have guessed, I liked it! My sister and I, and our respective spouses, stayed here for two weeks over Christmas and New Year's. My entire family (large), who stayed at varies other locations in and around Kapalua, was there to celebrate my sister's 50th as well as the holidays. We were determined to do something special with a once in a lifetime quality. After a stressful year with no time off, Maui, and specifically this Kapalua Bay Villa, delivered. I arrived at the Villa at 11:45 PM, exhausted an miserable. It was windy and raining. I can honesty say that nothing was better than waking up that first morning at 5:30 am with jet-lag from the east coast, making a fresh pot of coffee in the beautiful 1st class brand new kitchen with fresh Kona coffee that my sister had purchased the previous day and watching the dawn reveal the 180dg amazing ocean view. KaaBlaaam! I never want to go home! The convenience, elegance and comfort of this Villa made the entire trip better and proved to be an amazing base cape for exploring the rest of the island (Golf, Beach, Motorcycle, Hike and FOOD). We had an amazing filet-mignon dinner for Christmas for my whole family which we prepared in the afore mention kitchen and with the steaks grilled down at the extremely well appointed pool bar-b-que area. I could easily go on and on. Some of you may think I already have. One piece of advice.....for sunset head south to Lahina and go to Kimo's for happy hour. Great spot to sit and watch it go down with someone you care about! Finally, I had thought the daily rainbow extravaganza was the single most amazing aspect of my morning ritual on the veranda, but on the final morning of our stay we were greeted by a female humpback whale and her calf right in the cove in front of the Villa. Magic!

  Our 2 week stay at your Bay Villa was perfect. Your villa is beautifully furnished with anyting we could possibly have wanted and the panoramic views were magnificent. We especially enjoyed the easy access to the beach, the boardwalk and golf courses. We also took advantage of the fabulous Kapalua Bay Spa just a 2 minute walk from your villa, that we visited multiple times for a work out with a trainer or just pampering. We visited most of the restaurants convenient to walk to from your villa also. Needless to say, your villa far exceeded our expectations and more, and we would highly recommend it to anyone.

  I just have to say that our stay in this Villa was absolutely wonderful. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay and it is very clean as well. Ron and the property management company were a pleasure to work with as well. my family and I are already planning on coming back next year. The facilities are wonderful and I just can't say enough about the views and just the over all stay was excellent. We can't wait to come back. The Villa was absoulutely beautiful and just very clean and very nice furniture and the showers were amazing in this Villa. Mahalo!!

  Our family of 5 had a fantastic week at this condo. Our hosts were very helpful and responsive via email. The condo is very well appointed and full of light and air. The views are wonderful. One evening we sat for over an hour and watched dozens and dozens of whales spout and play. The nearby beaches (easily walkable down several flights of stairs) are great and much less populated than other Maui beaches we visited. We visited sea turtles in the rocky volcanic cove each day...sometimes spotting as many as 5 or 6. The property overall is very well-maintained and we had many nice conversations with other guests at the pool or the bbq.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

  We can not express how much we enjoyed staying at this perfect vacation home. We walked in and were instantly greeted with the most fantastic panoramic view of the ocean, sky and neighboring island. Even after seeing the wonderful photos, the home was beyond our expectations. We were delighted to find it beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and very inviting and comfortable. The upstairs master bed was SO comfortable! We ended up dining in more than we would have expected because of the fully appointed, top of the line kitchen and the view from the deck and dining area. The location couldn't have been better and offered access to anything a resort could offer. We loved being so close to the pool and found ourselves there alone most of the time. It also offered a fantastic view. We found the Bay Villas to be a very well maintained, clean and beautifully landscaped area close to everything. (We even discovered a great espresso/smoothie bar in the Kapalua Spa just next door for our morning latte) The owners of the villa were very nice and easy to work with and offered some great tips and information about the area. This was the perfect in every way place to stay and we can't wait to return. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy such a delightful experience. You have easily converted us from being Ritz Carlton guests to your villa guests!

  What a wonderful island vacation we experienced at this Kapalua Bay Villa. Surrounded by so much natural beauty from sunrise to sunset doesn't begin to describe this location and luxurious villa that we were so blessed to enjoy. The attention to detail by the owners of this villa for comfort and enjoyment is only matched by their professionalism in the vrbo rental process. Wonderful to work with and very prompt in corresponding. What an AWESOME location!!! There is absolutely no reason to keep searching properties because this is the ABSOLUTE BEST!! Great access to the beach, pools, and walking/jogging path along the ocean front! What a way to get in some exercise! Not to mention the golf courses. I must say there is not a room without an amazing view! While enjoying the sounds of the waves crashing into the shore while having coffee at sunrise or viewing the stars at night was an amazing way to start and end each day while on vacation. We loved the panoramic view of the ocean from the living/dining/kitchen area!! We didn't even want to leave for meals because it was so beautiful to sit and enjoy the scenery! (and of course the whales!) Hard to stay in with all of the excellent restaurants so close! Many many thanks for sharing your lovely villa with us! We have so many fond memories!! What a TREASURE!
