Featured in Log Home Design - February 2007 issue! Meandering driveway over babbling brook leads you to a meticulously crafted 6000 sq. ft. custom log home. You will find artisan touches such as handmade iron stair rails surrounds and 2 handpicked rock fireplaces, log benches and built-in seating. Both fire places and exterior boasts real river rock. The three acre parcel feels isolated with pine trees and a meadow providing full privacy, yet it is right off a plowed road with an easy 7 min. drive to downtown Breckenridge and ski area.
Amenities include:Main living area/great room has an artisan built river rock fireplace with one-of-a kind fireplace iron surround. State of the art surround sound with a 50” rear projection TV with DVD and DSS. Comfortable leather couches and chairs and a full size wet bar with multiple temperature wine refrigerator. There are massive windows to enjoy views of a secluded meadow with a back drop of 13,000' Red Mountain. There is a large foyer and a covered front porch with a built-in swing.
Fully equipped kitchen with five burner cook top, double oven/conventional, convection & microwave, instant hot water, disposal, full size refrigerator with filtered ice & water, dishwasher, toaster oven, coffee maker and various appliances, including blender, mixer, etc. Speakers are built into the ceiling for your listening enjoyment. Nook has a desk and large storage pantry. Use the pass through window over the sink to replenish supplies for grilling under the covered part of the deck to the built-in Bar-B-Q.
The Dining room, just off the kitchen, has a built-in nook that easily sits 4-6, and a 10 person table with 2 extensions that will accommodate up to 14.
An 8-10 person hot tub waits just outside a covered deck, so you may gaze at the stars, but have easy access to the house.
High speed internet with NetGear wireless. Satellite access for TVs. Huge mud room for boot and coat removal. Attached heated garage for ski and snowboard storage.
Full capacity laundry room on main level. 4 full bathrooms/ one powder room, all with exceptional stone work.
Master bedroom has a King-size bed with a private deck overlooking the meadow. Vanity, walk-in closet, and bathroom with dual sinks, a glass shower and a Jacuzzi bath.
4 bedrooms with queen size beds and their own deck or patio with large windows viewing the meadow and Red Mountain.
One bunk room has two large windows and sleeps 6, with 4 twin extra long mattresses and 2 regular twin mattresses.
The loft overlooks the great room and has an office with a TV, DVD player and computer hook up to high speed internet, bathroom and 2 bedrooms with queen beds.
Walk out lower level has a game room with full river rock fireplace and unique metal surround, 36” TV with game attachment and comfortable seating area. Second wet bar with microwave and full refrigerator. Both a pool table and foosball table.
The entire house has radiant in-floor heat, as well as an entire house humidifying system. There is an attached heated garage, and a fenced side yard.
No room is without a view, it is beautiful 360 degrees around!

- Queen Bed (4) : 4 queen bedrooms, each is unique and designed individually for our 4 grown children. They have either a balcony or a patio. Plus 2 queen aerobeds.
- Twin/Single Bed (6) : 6 twin beds are in the 'Cowboy & girl' bunkroom. 4 are twin extra long. Plus 3 twin aerobeds.
- Bunk Bed (2) : The 'Cowboy & Girl' bunkroom has two bunks with trundles below, for a total of 6 beds. There is plenty of room to pull the trundles to the opposite side so there is a large walkway between the beds.

The Ski Lynx Lodge is a classy, gorgeous, spacious getaway. I recently stayed there for a retreat with nine other people. We had plenty of room for us all. The accommodations lent themselves to a spirit of relaxation, and the views were stunning. Each room had its own porch (some big, some small), and the view outside my room made me feel as if I was in the mountains far away from people. I look forward to returning to the Ski Lynx Lodge as soon as we can!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Ski Lynx Lodge last week with nine of my colleagues. It is a quintessential mountain home that has an essence of peace that perfectly aligned with the purpose of our gathering. The owner has been our host for this annual meeting for the past three years and our experience has always been excellent. When I called about a minor maintenance issue, someone arrived within 15 minutes to resolve the problem. I highly recommend the Ski Lynx Lodge.

This house has it all. Every need is anticipated, every luxury included. My family spent a week at this beautiful home, and had our all of our expectations exceeded. As soon as you walk into the house you realize that you are in for something special. The living areas are open, inviting and well appointed; the bedrooms luxurious yet welcoming. The one time something didn't work--the coffee maker--it was replaced immediately. After a day in Breckenridge or the surrounding area, it is great to be able to come home to such a wonderful home and relax. We shall not soon forget our week, and look forward to returning. We've rented many homes, but this one stands out.

Our party of six adults was lucky enough to stay at Ski Lynx Lodge for a week in late June and couldn't have picked a better house for our vacation. It was the perfect way for us to enjoy all that Breckenridge offers while staying in a property that had the feel of a 5 star resort. We truly have nothing but great things to say about this extraordinary home and our experience working with the owner. Everyone in our party would agree that Ski Lynx is an excellent choice for anyone looking to find great views of the mountains, a ton of space, privacy just outside of town, and top of the line amenities. You definitely won't be disappointed!

Ski Lynx Lodge is the best!! Our family of five, rented the home in late July and had an absolutley amazing time there. Even though it was a small group, the house was very homey and we all had our own suites! Obviously, the house can sleep many more people and surely would be just as comfortable. The kitchen was my favorite room and was very well equipped and a joy to cook in. Our kids loved the pool table and hot tub. The radiant heat floors and fireplace kept us warm on those chilly nights. We did have one issue with the hot water (hey,it's a house, it happens!) and the two workmen we dealt with were very nice and quick to help. Before you knew it we were up and running again. The landlord was very pleasant to work with and responded to my emails quite quickly. The house is on a lovely, private street and is only minutes from Breckenridge. I highly recommend this vacation rental, you will not be disappointed. We hope to return, as soon as we can!

We enjoyed staying at this house very much in Aug '09. The house and furnishings are fantastic. Plenty of dishes, bowls, glasses. Every day we'd open a draw or a cabinet in the kitchen or somewhere else and we'd find things we had missed in the past. Having so many spices for example and the artificial sweetener (for my coffee) available in the kitchen was a nice touch. Having also a few board games available to play with the grandkids (dominos, cards, etc.) was also very much appreciated. We also enjoyed the beautiful red fox walking by the back of the house a few times in the evening - nice treat! There were great places to hike or explore nearby.

The Ski Lynx Lodge is an absolutely amazingly beautiful and comfortable place! We spent a week there with our families and had a small wedding reception there also. It was exactly as we hoped for and more. The amazing scenery and custom work in the house is unbelievable. The rooms were all very nicely decorated, cozy and extremely comfortable. The homeowner was great to work with and was nothing but accommodating to us through the entire arrangement. We couldn't have hoped for a better place to have our wedding and spend time with our family and friends. We cannot express enough how much we all enjoyed our time at the Ski Lynx Lodge and hope to return sometime soon! Thank You.
