Why the Owner Chose Radium Hot SpringsMy wife and I have been visiting the Columbia Valley for several years now and love the warmer weather, the incredibly friendly locals and the endless activities that are available. We thought it would be great to have a place to enjoy with our own friends and family that is only within a 2 3/4 hour drive from Calgary. Our hope is that those interested in spending a weekend or week in our home, would find some needed rest, relaxation, adventure and feel as though they have had a holiday to remember as we do every time we visit!
The Unique Benefits at this CottageOnce arrived and settled in, my husband and I love to sit on the back deck in our cottage chairs with a cup of coffee or cocoa, watching the sun set, the crickets chirp and gazing out into the forest where we might catch a glimpse of a deer or pheasant or watch the many birds at the feeders. At night we love to gaze at the stars through the skylight from our comfortable Beautyrest pillowtop mattress in the master bedroom, then waking in the morning to see the sun filtering through the forest out the back window or the mountain views out the bedroom's Juliet balcony. Grabbing a cup of our exclusive Cobblestone Creek coffee blend and sitting by the fireplace or on the front deck enjoying the morning sun is a perfect way to start our day.
A great little 9 hole golf course! Save time for a homemade meal and a slice of Jeanette's deep dish pie!
A short drive up Hewitt Road to a grassed parking lot on the southside of the road. Park and follow the unmarked trails to explore the Ranchland.
Gaze up at the rock cliffs of Sinclair canyon from the spacious mineral hot pool (103 F/39 C) and see if you can spot one of the bighorn sheep that make this canyon home. The hot mineral water here is

The service from Start to finish from Matthew was terrific. finding the cottage was easy, it was such a surprise when we opened the door and found it far beyond our expectations. Everytime we opened a cupboard, or cabinet there was something else we had to check out or try. I will have to admit, we didn't really want to leave the house, we had to try everything out. We have 3 small kids and the kids loved it. There is alot of room, and it could easily handle another 4 people. The house is very well built and designed. the structure is very solid, there is not a squeek in the place. The layout and furniture is also terrifc. very comfotable, and extremly enjoyable, all great quality. Views are terrific, mountains in both directions, lots of wildlife, peace and quiet. It was an outstanding place to stay from start to finish. Quality in every way. I would recommend if you are staying in the radium area, this is the place to be.

When we arrived we were more thrilled both cottages were fabulous. There was everything and more and the ladies just kept being amazed every time they opened a door and saw something they'd love to have in their own home - from the christmas theme to the sliding coffee machine in blackbear, to bubble hockey in cobblestone, the warm blankets all over the place, bathroom skylights and soft housecoats, everything was just perfect. early january and we're having a bbq. go figure. kids loved all the games. nothing like teaching kids to play old school board games like sorry. two deer came right up to the porch to drink water two of the mornings and again we all just watched in amazement. both places were extremely comfortable, spaceous and inviting. the weather was warm. we went on nature walks down to the railway tracks and ran into a couple of grouse. thanks by the way for the pool passes. so a grand merci from all of us. we're already hoping this becomes an annual event. happy new year. gonna try and work some dates out for golfing radium this summer.
Owner response:Thank you Bob for sharing with our team all the great memories every family had while staying at both cottages. Thank you also for trusting us with your groups New Year's vacation. We really appreciate the time it took to share some of your memories with those online. My wife and I, hearing of the great times you all had, well we loving hearing the feedback as it lets us know if we are treating our guests right or we need to improve things. We sure hope we can host you again in the coming year. Please do share with your friends and family about our cottages, if any of them are interested in a similar home for their family's vaction. All the very best in 2012, Bob!

From the very convenient reservation process right on through to the check-out, our family was treated as guests--not customers. Working with Matt and Kristen was so easy. They replied promptly and answered our questions professionally and courteously. As we walked through the front door, the cottage was all that the pictures show and then some. Our two kids were, of course, thrilled with the gaming systems, as well as the delightful cookies they found on their pillows! The cottage is decorated very warmly, and you even put the time in to add beautiful autumn accents in and out side. As high end home builders ourselves, we truley appreciated the quality of your home - right down to the thick towels and luxurious sheets. We cooked our Thanksgiving meal here and the kitchen was more than adequate! As far as clean goes: much better than many high end hotels we have stayed at! The beds were so very comfortable and warm after chilly after-dinner walks through the resort. The cottage's location lends itself to many outings. Not wanting to get too carried away with rushing around, our family soaked in the nearby Radium Hotsprings pool and took the drive to Ft. Steele to take in their Thanksgiving Celebrations. Other than that, we simply enjoyed our family time together, re-connecting again. It was bliss to be able to sit together for hours on end reading, playing games and laughing. Thanks to the Cobblestone Creek team for the great effort they have put in to the cottages to enable relaxation and enjoyment for those who are fortunate enough to find this gem in the Rockies!

What an amazing place. You ask youself questions when you stay at other places, like "I wonder if they have a griddler here, or even a heating pad.." and you only have to open a drawer to find it. Matt and Kristen have done an amazing job of anticipating everyone's wants and needs. Not only was the cottage equipped with everything you can imagine, but it was clean and up to date and so, so comfortable. My family stayed for 3 days and I found myself sad that we had to leave. It was like leaving your home. We left with many special memories, like sitting on the back porch in the evening with the heat lamp and blankets keeping us cozy to gathering at the huge table for dinners and laughs. It was also nice having the hot springs so close by and the little shops of Radium to explore. I am not used to the quiet like it was at night, but it was especially wonderful when my kids actually slept in with no noise to wake them! My only regret was not staying longer. I am already imagining a winter get-away or coming in the fall when the leaves turn color. Ahhh

Thank you so much to the Cobblestone Creek Team! After another vacation rental property cancelled our reservation at the last minute, Cobblestone Creek came through to save our family's vacation! Your Cottage is a Welcome home filled with so many comforts and a relaxing feeling of peace. Our children enjoyed seeing all the birds, squirrels, marmot and deer right outside the back door, and cuddling up on the comfy couch to watch TV, in your many blankets. Thank you once again! P.S. Your Cobblestone Creek signature coffee was so good! :-)
Owner response:Thank you Carey, we appreciate the feedback. I was our pleasure to help you out after the other vacation home cancelled your reservation on you. We were so happy to hear your family had such a nice time while staying at our little "escape" from the busy life. We hope to have you guys back sometime in the future. All the best!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful cottage with our family. We all so much appreciated all the comforts and conveniences as well as the many extras you have put into making this cottage a "home away from home"! We were thrilled to find a griddle and blender, the extra blankets were divine and used often, movies, board games and our two kids loved the Wii. Sitting on you deck, reading or just enjoying the smells of the forests and sound of the birds, was simply delightful. Thanks again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Cobblestone Cottage. The cottage was very comfortable and relaxing largely due to the great design features and outstanding interior decor! Sitting on the back deck, watching all the birds (lots of Pine Siskins) as well as the location, enhanced our stay. Thank you!

Wow! I wanted a special place for our family to vacation and loved the pictures of Cobblestone creek. When we walked in the door, everyone was excited and began exploring this beautiful cabin. All the details are amazing, from the most comfortable beds to the cozy blankets and board games by the fireplace to the FULLY equipped kitchen. Too much to even mention. We went on many adventures in the area but always looked forward to our time back at the cabin together at the end of the day. The managers were very professional and wonderful to deal with. I can't say enough how much we enjoyed our stay.
Owner response:Thank you Krysta for your kind words! We so appreciated your family, trusting us with their vacation! All the Best.
