The cottage is beautifully finished and Matthew and Kristen have provided their guests with many extras to ensure that their stay at Cobblestone Cottage is a very welcoming, comfortable experience. The decor and provisions throughout the cottage are outstanding. The location is easy to find, a few km north of Radium. We enjoyed delicious meals at Helna's Stube and Backcountry Jacks in Radium. Radium was not busy in February and the drive from Calgary to Radium and then Radium to Panoramo is spectacular! I would recommend this cottage to anyone staying in the area in the winter. The cottage is located in a mixed use (trailers and cottages) property. There are a lot of trailers on very close lots at the site but since we were there in the winter none of the trailers were occupied. I actually think that there were only 2 other guests on the property while we were there Feb 19-22 so it was very quiet. The cottage is on one of the best lots and backs on to a wooded ravine. We were treated to deer walking through each morning and lots of birds at the feeders.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

Already planning our next trip. Literally had everything and more. Every touch was considered in this cottage. Heated bathroom floors, extra pillows and blankets, blender, waffle iron, espresso machine, Wii, board games, and the list can go on forever! Beautifully decorated, and comfortable! Located in a picturesque landscape which included 6 deer visiting around breakfast on our last morning. Loved our relaxing weekend! Thank you for being a part of it!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

My friends and I had a fabulous time in the cottage last september. The kitchen was stocked with a wide variety of appliances and some spices that came in handy. I loved decor and all of the cozy blankets that were available. It took me some time to find the board games. I forget if it said in the binder where they were but i didn't find them until our last day. Not a problem though because we did bring some of our own. The skylight above the master bed was kinda cool at night, but a little bright in the morning. I have definitely recommended the Cobblestone Cottage to other friends and already some of the friends that were with me in September have returned with their family.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with young children.

We love this home. It is exactly what we were looking for travelling with 2 small kids. It is tastefully decorated and has all kitchen necessities imaginable. The home is super clean and has an abundance of towels and linens. The resort was very quiet and relaxing. There is nothing that we didn't like about this place!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

The cottage has 3 levels with 2 bedrooms on the top floor with queen beds and 1 bedroom on the bottom with a queen and a single and a very nice games room. It has a very well equipped kitchen with every appliance you could need. The view from the back verandah into the trees is so nice.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

The Cobblestone Cottage was very warm and welcoming. I knew what to expect from the photos and descriptions of the cottage but I was surprised at how well equipped the kitchen was. My family and I were there over Thanksgiving and I took a roasting pan for the turkey but to my surprise there was one there! There were lots of throws to wrap up in and we loved the heater on the porch. There were pamphlets with directions for all the appliances. The owner was very helpful and our emails were answered promptly. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a relaxing holiday with all amenities. We went to CasaVino on our last evening and had a very memorable experience. The owner has also included a list of restaurants etc that he recommends which is always great when coming to a place that you are unfamiliar to you. An added bonus is all the deer - the grandchildren were very excited! This is a great place for a family holiday!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
Owner response: Thank you Patricia for your comments! We are so happy to hear that your experience staying at Cobblestone Cottage was as great as it was. We love what we do and without folks like you, letting us know what you like and don't like, we wouldn't be a success at all. Thank you again for trusting us with your family's Thanksgiving vacation! All the very best for a safe and beautiful fall season. Matt

Our family of four stayed for two nights at the Black Bear cottage, just a few doors down from the Cobblestone Cottage. The cottage is lovely, super-clean, and comfortable. The back deck overlooks a pretty wooded area and we enjoyed watching the deer and birds there. There are paths for walking nearby and it is located in a quiet neighborhood. The cottage interior is bright, comfortable and stylish and contains everything you could possibly need during your stay including high-quality towels and robes, appliances, kitchen equipment, laundry facilities, and games. The furnishings and decor are very nice and little thoughtful touches like delicious coffee and planters of flowers on the deck add to the experience. Matt was a pleasure to deal with from the day we booked until the time we left. We would highly recommend a stay with Cobblestone Creek properties to anyone and have already told friends about our great experience. Looking forward to returning one day for another stay in this terrific holiday spot.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
Owner response: Thank you again Linnea for staying with us and for your review! We appreciate your thoughts and are so happy that your family enjoyed the cottage and area so much. We look forward to having you folks stay with us again in the future. All the very best!

We loved our stay in this beautiful cottage. It was a wonderful quiet place to be in after a day of golfing or hiking. A great selection of games for old and young alike. The cottage was well thought out. We had everything there that we would have at home, including a wonderfully set up kitchen,a great selection of books and movies if you wished. The huge BBQ was amazing for our larger group. It was very cozy, with a lot of different places to curl up with a good book. The wild life was beautiful and unexpected. I was on the back patio, when a deer and her twin fawns where having their breakfast in the wooded area no more than 20 feet away. We will be back.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with young children.
Owner response: Hi Z Clan, We are so happy to hear that you so enjoyed your time at the cottage. We have to say that sitting out on that back patio area is one of our favorite things to do as you do see so many different types of wildlife. Thank you for your thoughts on your stay with us, we so appreciate it! Have a great summer! Matt & Kristen

We were looking for an adult family holiday to suit our varied interests. We found a great spot in Cobblestone Cottage. There was something for everyone. The resort is quiet and well located and the house is unbelievably well equipped. We loved our camp fires and s'mores each evening! The town of Radium is only a few minutes down the road and we did enjoy the Hot Springs one night. The day at the beach was good fun too. The wildlife that 'passed by' the house gave us some good photo opportunities. Distance from Calgary makes this a good place to stay if your time is short. Only downside is that guests at the resort cannot use the pool which seemed odd to us. All in all we had a good time, great food - thanks to the chef in the family and the well equipped kitchen - and would return for another stay at Cobblestone Cottage in the future. I recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a family vacation. Thanks Matt and Kristin!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
Owner response: Happy to hear that your family so enjoyed the cottage as they did and the surrounding area. The area with the cottage backing onto the forest reserve, Radiums restaurants, shops and the beach at Lake Windermere really make for some fun and adventure for each family member. Yes, we wish we could offer the resort pool to our guests but the resort developer sees it differently. We hope that the Radium Hot Springs pool passes were enjoyed in lieu of the resort pool. Thank you for your kind words! We hope to see you folks back again soon. Keep in mind that if you do refer other guests our way, let them know to tell us that you did refer them, as we do have a referral program in place that will benefit you on future stays. Take care and have a safe and fun rest of the summer! Kristen and Matt

Why the Owner Chose Radium Hot Springs:
My wife and I have been visiting the Columbia Valley for several years now and love the warmer weather, the incredibly friendly locals and the endless activities that are available. We thought it would be great to have a place to enjoy with our own friends and family that is only within a 2 3/4 hour drive from Calgary. Our hope is that those interested in spending a weekend or week in our home, would find some needed rest, relaxation, adventure and feel as though they have had a holiday to remember as we do every time we visit!
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
Once arrived and settled in, my husband and I love to sit on the back deck in our cottage chairs with a cup of coffee or cocoa, watching the sun set, the crickets chirp and gazing out into the forest where we might catch a glimpse of a deer or pheasant or watch the many birds at the feeders. At night we love to gaze at the stars through the skylight from our comfortable Beautyrest pillowtop mattress in the master bedroom, then waking in the morning to see the sun filtering through the forest out the back window or the mountain views out the bedroom's Juliet balcony. Grabbing a cup of our exclusive Cobblestone Creek coffee blend and sitting by the fireplace or on the front deck enjoying the morning sun is a perfect way to start our day.
