This condo is incredible, it is large, beautiful and has everything you would need, including a washer and dryer. Bob and his staff are also excellent and helped with everything including detailed directions to places we wanted to visit. I highly recommend staying at one of these condos.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

This was our first trip to Costa Rica. I travelled with my mother (72) and my son (6 1/2). We rented #8 and it was perfect in every way. Very nice design and furnishings. Very clean. A step across the street to the Langosta Beach Club, pool and beach. This property is perfectly located just at the edge of the 'village' area with shops and restaurants so a very quick and easy walk down the beach. The beach at Langosta is a good one for younger children, beginner surfers, and swimmers. A half-mile or so to the south is a totally different experience -- the waves you come to Costa Rica for and wonderful warm Pacific water. I haven't played in the water for so long since I was in high school because the perfect waves just kept coming. I was amazed at the number and quality of local restaurants of every type -- the best pizza I've ever had Baulas, seafood, Italian, easy local beach food. The condo was well equipped for cooking at home which we did for breakfast and lunch, then out to dinner. Every member of the Ibis property staff was cordial, helpful and friendly. The Beach Club staff was equally friendly and helpful. We took a day trip to Rincan de la Vieja for zip-lining, tubing and playing in the hot springs. It was a vacation that you can make as busy or as relaxing as you choose. Perfect climate, perfect water, beautiful surroundings and easy airport access.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The unit was just as pictured! Very comfortable and clean. Bob did a really good job answering questions and addressing concerns before we booked the trip and after. He assisted with transfers, groceries, excursions and last minute issues. He has a good team of workers in place and we felt safe and comfortable at all times. Enjoyed having the beach club across the street, service at the club was okay. Definitely looking forward to coming back in the near future.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Being my first trip outside the US I was a bit scared of making a trip with 6 friends; Bob did an excellent job taking care of things to ease any concerns we had; he gladly booked the adventures for the day and gave us very good recommendations. Since I have been traveling more I find it VERY VERY helpful to have a go to person that knows the scene. The condo was comfortably located across the street from the local beach club which gave us all the access we needed to drinks, food, fun and a beautiful scenery, and the food there would delight any food lover. People have mentioned dust a few times in other reviews.. but this is Costa Rica so be ready for it.. it is a little dusty. My group and I plan on going back ASAP and renting the penthouse this time :)Recommended for: Adventure seekers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Came on vacation with a group of six and the condo was clean and beautiful. Nice, quiet, and secure location and condo was really well equipped with nice furniture and appliances. Bob is great too. Very knowledgable and every restaurant and excursion recommendation was right on. My husband came to Tamarindo and heard of Ibis and Bob from a friend from our hometown. It exceeded our already high expectations! The condo was beautful, clean, and spacious. The kitchen was fully equipped and wonderful for our needs. We came alone and hope to return with our 3 boys because there is plenty of space for all of us and plenty of activities that our whole family will enjoy! Bob does such a great job of being available at all times of the day. He booked dinners and activities for us. We loved learning to surf with Junior, eating at Bula Bula, and eating at Pangas! What an amazing place. Bob's staff were so friendly and helpful. We also saw quite a bit of wild life. There were monkeys around our condo a couple of different times, many birds, and iguanas. The beach club is really great and a wonderful place to spend your relaxing time. This was our second trip to Tamarindo and the Ibis. Last year’s trip was so successful that this time we brought family and friends. Our condo was very nicely appointed, clean and a great place to relax when finished with the beach. The Beach Club across the road is very convenient and a good base of operations. Bob and Veronica provide a uniquely high level of customer service and warmly helped us with grocery shopping, surfing trips, transportation, excellent dining recommendations and even help in tracking down luggage lost by Air Canada. I recommend the Ibis for those who want to enjoy Tamarindo’s many charms and then retreat to a beautiful property just down the beach.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

We stayed here in early November 2012 and had a wonderful experience. The rooms and very nicely done. And, staying right across from the beach was a great location. Just a 30 second walk to the beach and waves. Bob and Veronica were wonderful taking us to get food, setting up shuttle services and getting/returning surf boards. We'll be back.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and Ibis #2 was perfect. The condo was beautiful, and close to everything we needed. Across the street from the Beach Club with easy access to the ocean. Picnic tables and lounge chairs on the beach and around the pool. We were walking distance from town with access to shopping, and many great restaurants. Upon our arrival Bob drove us on a tour of the town and pointed out best restaurants. He took us to a large super market where we were able to do our shopping for the week. He was also available to arrange any excursions we wanted to take. Renting from Bob Wilson was one of the best decisions we have made for a vacation. The Condo was modern, very clean, spacious, and had working AC/Internet /TV. The access to the beautiful Langosta Beach Club was wonderful. It is a stunning facility and extremely well run. We loved the food and service. Bob made sure to book many adventures for us including tours, zip lining, restaurants, surf lessons, and deep sea fishing. His contacts were honest and great to deal with. We would go back in a minute. WE have 2 children 8 and 12 who loved it as well. You will not be disappointed!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

What a wonderful time we had in Tamarindo and these fabulous condos. We absolutely loved our time here. The condo was clean, nice, everything worked. We felt safe and secure. Bob is incredibly nice and interested in customer service. The Langosta Beach Club is right across the street and so is the beach. We stayed at Ibis over Christmas this year. It was absolutely wonderful. The condo was spacious, clean, updated, relaxing and the location was great. We were able walk everywhere we wanted/needed to go. We used the Longosta Beach Club, which was so relaxing. The food is wonderful. Bob and Veronica were amazing and very hosptiable through the entire week. They had wonderful restaurant suggestions and great tips in area. Bob also helped book activites for us like Zip Line Adventure, Sea Turtles, etc. I would highly recommend this place and hope to go back again very very very soon!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Dear Bob and Veronica, thank you for such a wonderful stay at Ibis #8 several weeks ago. Trish, Sally, Anne, Sam and I had a wonderful time in condo #8 and at the club and beach. We especially appreciated the welcome and advice both you and Veronica provided. This helped us with many decisions, and most certainly paved the way for an enjoyable visit. After doing the zip line at eco-glide in La Fortuna with two cables, we want to thank you and Veronica again for recommending a business with two cables. We had a blast zip lining with eco-glide, and seeing that secondary cable took the edge off for me on several zips. This condo was really nice, much nicer than we expected. The grounds at both the condo and the beach club were beautiful. The pictures in the listed seems a little dated for the bedrooms - the bed linens and decor is a little different, but that's not big deal. I didn't have any direct contact with the owner of this condo, my reservation was handled through the rental manager Bob Wilson, who is very nice and eager to help. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a condo in Tamarindo. My only reservation is with the restaurant and bar - they are expensive - the food and drinks are wonderful - but expect to pay a bit more than you would at a local joint. My suggestion is to get out of the beach club and explore a bit - there are lots of places that have happy hour and 2 for 1 drinks - along with reasonable food prices. Our favorites were La Baula, Taco Stop, and Nogui's. One other extremely important fact that we overlooked was - bring bug spray and sunscreen- it's a must - you will get carried away by the mosquitoes or fried by the equatorial sun. Both are very expensive to buy there compared to what you would pay in the US. If you forget bug spray, you can always ask any restaurant or bar your at to have some, they'll give it to you. :)Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.
