No surprises here-the property, the furnishings and the location surpassed both the website description and our own expectations! The home is very spacious and there is good separation of the master and guest bedrooms. The kitchen was so well equipped that we found cooking to be just like at home. We appreciated having TVs in each bedroom as well as good WiFi even out on the patio. The location is great-it is just a short drive to downtown San Diego or the ocean. Lots of beautiful scenery. There are plenty of good golf courses in the immediate area. This property is more suitable for adults, great for two couples. Would recommend that each couple have a car though. While lots of activities in area, there isn't much to do within walking distance. We definitely would recommend this property, and in fact have already rebooked for next year ourselves!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We were at this home for 30 days, giving us the opportunity to see and enjoy the tranquil settings of this home and the area. Everything one will need, except for personal items, is included. We would definitely rent this again.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Staying at this unit was just like staying at home; everything was provided and the items were very easy to find. The unit was very quiet and peacefull; weather was great. We would definietly recommend this unit to our friends and family.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My 97 year old mother and I spent 6 weeks here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the golf course from the living room. We had a lot of friends and family come to visit with my mother and it worked out very well. The owner was very helpful, the beds were very comfortable, everything was impeccably clean, lots of TVs with cable, a land line phone was available, filtered water spigot at the sink, jacuzzi tub in the master, a nice garage to park the car, and any supplies you might need. We had the blackout while we were there, and there were lots of flashlights and candles in the closet and the gas barbeque outside, so we were able to get by with little problem. I would say the only downside I can think of is that there is no walk in shower at this property. If that isn't a problem for you, then I would definitely recommend this townhome...I would stay here again if I have the chance. It was wonderful.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

However, right now the cost is prohibitive to do a proper job. Watch for new photos in the next year or so, perhaps I will have a new shower yet! Thanks again for taking the time to write a review.

My son, Sheridan,who is in a wheelchair, paralyzed from an auto accident, and I stayed at the house for several months. The place is super clean, the neighborhood is fantastic w/ friendly neighbors. Kristi checks in on us often to make certain that everything is working and is a great help. We commuted to Carlsbad and never had a problem. the pool is nice, there are great places to walk and it's very convenient for shopping nearby. About the owner: I am looking for vacation renters, 30 days minimum, and prefer summer or winter visitors. Home is fully equipped with dishes, cooking utensils, glasses, silverware, pots & pans, linens, towels, washer & dryer, your home away from home, all for your enjoyment. After 23 years working around the county, I knew I wanted to own a home in Castle Creek. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Why the Owner Chose Escondido:
I chose this location because of the country feel, mountains all around, the golf course for my back yard and EZ access to all of San Diego and Riverside attractions. I can get to the beach in 20 minutes, ski in the mountains in 1 1/2 hours, the desert in 1 1/2 hours, balloon rides in 30 minutes, wine tasting in famous Temecula in 30 minutes, and downtown San Diego for the night life in 50 minutes. Who could ask for anything more????
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The best thing about Castle Creek is the peace & quiet! It's country location is perfect for relaxation, sitting on the patio watching the golfers . . good and bad, watching the rabbits in the late afternoon, and the yard faces west, so the sunsets can be excruciatingly beautiful.
