Perfect for a luxury getaway or an extended stay for business or pleasure, the Key Lime suite is a self contained 1 bedroom unit in a stylish waterfront home. The suite offers a unique harbour-front location, amazing harbour and downtown views, separate entry, picture windows, private garden patio and access to low bank waterfront to launch your canoe or kayak.

Luxurious appointments include gourmet kitchen with full complement of upscale appliances and cookware, cozy heated floors, gas fireplace, soaker tub, queen feather bed with 100% fine cotton bedding, lofty goose down duvet/feather pillows, big soft cotton towels and ultra clean no-carpet premises.

Key Lime is conveniently located on Victoria Harbour, a leisurely stroll on the scenic waterfront walkway, a short hop on the harbour ferry or city bus, or a 3 minute drive to downtown Victoria. Float planes and ferries are nearby and provide easy access to Seattle, Port Angeles and Vancouver.

Victoria destinations, including the world-renowned Butchart Gardens, Victoria International Airport, and BC Ferries are within a 30-minute drive, making Key Lime a handy base for exploring greater Victoria, the southern Vancouver Island, and the Gulf Islands.

The convenient location offers plenty for sight seeing, entertainment and dining. Downtown buzzes with attractions of Minature World, Royal BC Museum, IMAX, and Wax Museum; take in the sights and sounds of the inner harbour causeway with its animated bustlers and sidewalk cafes; enjoy English afternoon tea service at the world-famous Fairmount Empress Hotel; shop the unique stores and international boutiques along Government Street.

Take in a play or a concert but be sure to take time before or after the show to sample the fine dining at any one of the many wonderful downtown eating establishments. For something different, dine al fresco on delicious British-style fish and chips at Barb's Place situated right on a real Fishermen's Wharf.

For the outdoor enthusiast, take a harbour sail or whale watching trip and discover the thrill of sighting these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. For a hands-on adventure, book a seat on a saltwater fishing charter leaving from the harbour. Rent a kayak or canoe and cast off from the little beach in front of the house and paddle the harbour and the gorge waterways. Watch the herons, cormorants, harbour seals, and with a bit of luck catch a glimpse of the shy river otters.

Tee off at one of Victoria's many year round golf courses; some reputed to be among the most challenging around. Pick up a picnic lunch and cycle the Galloping Goose trail. Built on the foundation of a railway line, the Goose meanders for miles. In no time at all, you can be at Thetis Lake Regional Park. Hike the extensive trails and cool off with a swim in the pristine lake before chowing down on your gourmet lunch.

Saunter over to the West Bay Marine village, a funky and colorful collection of locals, tourists, boats and houseboats. Have a delicious meal at the local pub while savouring the sights and sounds of a waterside community.

Nearby is Saxe Point Park, a jewel beloved by the locals, Saxe Point has front row seats on the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic mountains. Stroll the park's forested paths and discover its tucked away rocky beaches and coves.

When you are ready for a simpler pace, kick back, relax, and read a good book on your private garden patio while you idly watch the comings and goings of a busy harbour and the neighbouring marinas. Come!
