Enjoy a relaxing week in Blue Surf cottage situated on one acre at the ocean in beautiful Hampton Colony. A lovely, private setting on the beach, Hampton Colony was the location of the upcoming Richard Gere and Dian Lane movie called "Nights of Rodanthe" which will debut in Spring 2008. This small, cozy cottage has three bedrooms and three baths. Decks off the master bedroom and the living room and dining room offer beautiful ocean views. Guest room windows look out on stunning sunsets over the marsh and the inland waterway.
A few steps over the dunes and you'll be walking some of the best, cleanest, least populated beaches on Topsail Island. A few more steps will take you to the newly refurbished Hampton Colony pool. Blue Surf is only moments from the causeway to the mainland and historic Snead's Ferry fishing village. Today's catch can be had at some of the best seafood restaurants in the area. Hampton Colony is safe and off the main road... just walk out the door and over the dunes to the beach. Blue Surf enjoys a great location on the last acre at the North end of Hampton colony. It is bordered by wetlands, empty dunes and a view of the ocean. It's a comfortable oasis in one of the least developed areas of Topsail Island.
Hampton Colony is one of the few locations on Topsail Island that is off the main road, so it's great for kids and bike riding. It's only 1/4 mile to the causeway bridge that takes you off the island and onto lovely fishing villages, many beach shops, grocery shopping and into Wilmington, NC with its large historic district.
So choose the location that the movie directors loved that will give you a funfilled and convenient home base for a wonderful vacation.
