ADORABLE GINGERBREAD BEACH COTTAGE IN AWESOME LOCATION!!! Great off season rates which is much cheaper than a hotel!! Best rates in La Jolla rarely have availability. Adorable 1920's storybook style beach cottage with private patio and full washer dryer in home. Master bedroom has king size bed, upstairs loft style bedroom has one full bed and two twin beds and is perfect for older kids. Fully stocked kitchen and located 1/2 block from Windansea beach. Awesome deal much cheaper than a hotel and closer to the beach. Walk to shops, restaurants, coffee houses, beach, community pool and park. Great area for walking or bike riding. There is a bike trail close by. La Jolla High School is just up the street a couple of blocks with a public pool. La Jolla is known for its culture, museums, great restaurants, unique shops, beautiful beaches, seal preserve, great snorkeling and surfing areas. There is scuba diving at the La Jolla Cove Natural Reserve. La Jolla has many great beaches for surfing, swimming, boogie boarding and kayaking. Our cottage is only a 2 minute walk to World Famous Windansea Beach, a favorite local beach known for its great surfing and beautiful sunsets. La Jolla is also centrally located near the airport, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Old Town, Coronado Island, Lego Land, Balboa Park, Wild Animal Park, Sea Port Village, Carlsbad Flower fields etc. The Gingerbread Cottage is about 1/2 mile from the public L.J. Tennis Club and recreation center which has tennis courts, basketball courts, gym, and playground.
The Gingerbread Cottage is great for families. It comfortably sleeps 6 people. There is a nice size living room with two fold out couches, large flat screen TV, fireplace and hard wood floors. The dining room has a table that will seat 6 people. The master has a king size bed with its own flat screen TV and DVD player. There is a full bath downstairs and a full kitchen plus laundry area with washer and dryer. The upstairs is a huge loft style bedroom that has a full size bed and two twin beds along with a TV and sitting area. It is perfect for older kids. The beach cottage comes fully equipped with sheets, blankets, towels, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, soap, paper plates, napkins, etc. We also provide beach equipment like chairs, coolers, towels, beach toys, etc. The cottage is on a quiet one way street with very little traffic. Our cottage is very charming and quaint, the perfect place for a family vacation. BEST DEAL IN THE AREA!!! Walk to everything!!! Hurry, we book up fast!

My husband and I stayed here for a week and had a fantastic time. The weather was nice and we enjoyed our nightly walks along the beach down the street which was gorgeous and the sunsets were amanzing!!! We walked up the street about 1/2 block to our now favorite mexican restaurant Su Casa. We hardly had to drive anywhere which was really nice. There were many restaurants within walking distance which was great. The house had everything we needed and was very quaint and cozy. It was a great vacation and we hope to come back each year. Our family of 4 stayed at thick cottege. We all had a great time. The location was perfect. We enjoyed the beach which was beautiful. There were plenty of restaurants to walk to. Our favorite was Su Casa and really enjoyed their margaritas. The house was well equipped and had plenty of beach toys and chairs. Our two kids loved the lift. Great village location with walking distance to everything we needed. The cottage was very cute and the location was perfect and fully equipped.There was plenty of room and seating for our family of 5. The beach down the street is beautiful and we enjoyed watching the sunsets and taking a walk on the sidewalks that go along the ocean. My family and I stayed here for the month of November. We had a great vacation. The cottage was really cute and was just perfect for our family. We walked to the beach every day. We enjoyed the sunsets every night and sitting outside in the adorondak chairs having our coffee was our morning ritual. The location was great. We hardly ever used our car. We walked almost everywhere. We loved the Windansea Cafe for sandwiches and Busy Bees for breakfast. There were tons of restaurants within walking distance. Thank you for sharing your home with us, we had a great time and plan to come back again soon. If you want a great deal and an adorable vacation rental this house is the one. Our family loved the cottage and our,kids loved,the upsrairs Huge loft. The location was great. We walked to the beach everyday and totally loved tge area. Tge house was perfect and,had everything we needed. It was so much,better than a hotel. Stayed in this adorable cottage for a friend getaway. It was perfect. And just about a one minute walk to the beach. There are great restaurants within walking distance too. Ordered pizza from Pizza on Pearl and it was fantastic! Really great experience overall!
