It is just 1.25 hours north of Savannah, Georgia and two hours south of Charleston, South Carolina---629 Newhaven Ct.--Approx.1900sq.ft.
This Non-Smoking villa, has an eat-in-kitchen and breakfast bar, a formal dining and living room, and a DOUBLE Wide covered Patio Deck that's 40" from the Atlantic Ocean; Kit,Lr,Dr,Mbr, have ocean views. Watch dolphin swim by and pelicans play in the ocean as you sit on the deck in your Rocking Chairs,enjoying your morning coffee, while you see a Spectacular Sun Rise. You will never want to leave this condo because the sites and sounds of the ocean are so relaxing. If you should decide to, you can walk along the walkways, down the beach, or sit under the trees in the courtyard.
Go down the steps to the beach and put your lounge chair out and just read a good book---swim in the warm waters from the Caribbean current(Mid-80's in summer months), stroll along the 3 mile beach and in the summer you may see some loggerhead Sea Turtles. You can also swim in one of the 5 Island pools. Ocean point pool is closest to our condo it has an adult pool and a childrens pool also a play area for kids, the cabana pool is loacated on the south side of the Island and has a lagoon pool and a childrens pool, a play ground and a willie's wet bar.
Bring the fishing pole, sit back and relax. Maybe you want to play a round of golf at either of the two signature courses, just walk across the street and tee off at Ocean Point Golf Links, the 18th hole overlooks the Atlantic Ocean!
The Tee" is directly across the street from Newhaven,and is open for breakfast and lunch. If its pizza you want or an ice cream you can get it at Island supreme next to the beach club . There are many "Excellent" Restaurants in the area, & a great opportunity to try different Cuisine's.
Enjoyment everywhere! While at the marina you can rent a kayak, jet-ski, moped, boat, or go for a sunset cruise and watch for dolphin on "The Fripper". Bike trails allow for rollerblading, jogging, walking and of course biking. Get in your golf cart and take a ride on the island and see the wildlife consisting of herons, egrets, storks, kingfishers, osprey, bald eagles (in spring), deer, and occasional alligator. Walk over the marsh boardwalk and just take in nature.
Fripp island is only three and a half miles long and one mile wide, so it never takes long to get anywhere. While your playing golf and the kids are looking for fun, bring them to Camp Fripp - daily activities like crabbing, shelling, crafts and all kinds of educational programs help the children learn more about nature. Hunting Island State Park is just across the Fripp Island bridge with bike trails, nature walks, miles of beach, and the Hunting Island Lighthouse make it a time of fun in the sun!
Fripp Island is located just 20 minutes from historic Beaufort where many famous movies have been made, "The Great Santini," "Prince of Tides," and "Forces of Nature". Scenes from movies such as "Forrest Gump", "The Jungle Book," and "The Prince of Tides" have been filmed on Fripp Island. Our very own Pat Conroy owns his home here on Fripp. Tom Hanks has even stayed in one of Fripp's oceanfront homes and strolled the beach, you never know who you might bump into while stayin' on Fripp!
Fripp Island is only 1 hour from Hilton Head and only 2 hours away from Charleston where you can go for horse-drawn carriage tours, do some market place shopping, historic sightseeing in air conditioned buses, and dining is just unique, something for the whole family. Visit the South Carolina Aquarium while in Charleston and see all kinds of wonderful things.

My family and I just spent a week at this villa. It was a wonderful stay. The villa is very comfortable and is well appointed. It is true to the pictures you see, clean and well maintained. The views from the balcony are outstanding! I highly recommend staying here.
Recommended for:Age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.

We spent six weeks in this unit this past Feb. and March and found it delightful. Decor and view as well as island amenities were exactly as described. Kitchen had everything one would need for entertaining and meal prep. One can stand at the kitchen sink, look through the living room directly out to ocean and watch dolphins play. King size bed was very comfortable and it was delightful to fall asleep listening to gentle surf. Larry and JoAnn made sure we had everything we needed for our stay and we would highly recommend this unit for couples or families. Mary and Al
