We stayed here for a week while in the process of relocating to Denver. The location of this little house was extremely amenable to familiarizing with Downtown and Northwest Denver. We have fallen in love with the LoHi/Highlands area--many cozy eating spots, coffee houses and some retail in pockets within a few blocks from the house, but yet the house is located in a quiet residential area. The pedestrian bridge to downtown (a few blocks away) was an added benefit. A spacious well-supplied kitchen and large beautiful dining table, as well as a good-sized brick patio, would be very amenable to entertaining. Beautiful, eclectic decor. We especially appreciated the opportunity to have our dog with us and the dog-friendliness of local restaurants, liquor store (allowed us to take Trina indoors), and coffee shops. Will definitely recommend to others.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My wife and I recently stayed in the Highland Oasis house and we can confirm that it truly is an oasis. The area is fantastic with great restaurants and bars within a very short walking distance. Coors field is also just a quick 10 minute walk away. I highly recommend the Highland Tavern, 1 block away. It was recently featured on Diners Drive-ins, and Dives. The food is fantastic. Peter is a great host who provides everything you need to make your stay comfortable. We will definitely be back.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, pet owners.

MY buddy and I went out to Denver for the weekend and rented this place. Real nice especially since a hotel in downtown you will be spending almost the same amount if not more. Also with this place you have a huge patio with a fire pit and bbq also you get a full kitchen in this place vs a hotel room. There is ample parking and the neighbors were chill as well. Overall we would rent this place again for sure.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, pet owners.

My wife and I stayed at the Highlands Oasis for the first week in October. The owner has done a great job remodeling the interior and it was a great place for us. With the location right in Denver we didn't bother renting a car for the first few days and only then to take a ride in the mountains. It is convenient to restaurants, shops, etc. and just a few minute walk from one of Denver's bike share stations so we were able to ride bikes all around town. It is also within walking distance of much of downtown Denver. It was a very comfortable place, a very well outfitted kitchen, TV/stereo, lots of room to spread out. Having a washer and dryer was also nice, bottom line being we were very pleased with the place. It was easy to contact the owner with any questions we had he responded very quickly. I would recommend this place to anyone wanted a very convenient location near downtown Denver in the Lower Highlands area. It makes it easy to get around town without needing a car.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

This place is amazing all the way around, how do I start? Location: The condo is located in the lo-hi area, within walking distance or short drive to some really cool restaurants and shopping. Also whether day or night, it is very quiet and safe. Parking is right in front of the house, never ever did I have an issue with that. House: The house is well appointed with amazing decor and furniture, up to date kitchen and with all you need (wifi, cable, towels, all kitchen items, washer/dryer, etc.). It has a super cool open loft concept master and a 2nd bedroom, really open floor plan and super nice patio with grill and fire pit. The beds are very comfortable and all in the house was super clean. Owner: The owner is super professional and very helpful and just a really awesome person. I am sold for life, I will return here over and over because this is truly an oasis!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My boyfriend and I stayed here while in Denver to see Widespread Panic. I just have to say we never wanted to leave this amazing place! Everything you could ever need while on vacation the owner has stocked in the cabinets, bathroom, refrigerator, etc. The kitchen is perfect for cooking dinner and sharing a glass of wine. The art is phenomenal as well as the book collection, I wanted to check one out like I was at the public library. We will definitely come back and rent this place again. The experience was great and the owner could not have been more accommodating throughout the whole rental process. You could enjoy this place during all seasonal months. The house stays really warm during the winter, but there is also a great patio for grilling and enjoying the outdoors in the warmer months. The house was close to everything we wanted to experience while in Denver. I would recommend Pagliacci's Italian Restaurant, which is less than a mile from the house. Overall our stay was fantastic! Thank you Peter for helping make this experience a memorable one!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This two bedroom residence is the kind of place that simply feels right from the moment you walk through the door. The décor is tasteful modern meets traditional with a brilliant use of color, layout and space. I recently stayed there with two friends for a long weekend and having such pleasant accommodations made for an awesome visit. We especially appreciated the way the home was well stocked with kitchen necessities, paper goods, washing detergent--pretty much any amenity that one would have in their own home was provided. One of my travel companions enjoyed making pancakes one morning. Written instructions on how to use doors, lights, fan, where to empty garbage etc would have been helpful to have. The house was located in the city yet it was a super quiet and peaceful neighborhood, literally minutes away from everything we wanted to do. It’s a great home and I must say that we can’t wait to go back and stay there again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Wonderful experience at this home. It is centrally located and the outdoor deck was just incredible. Had a two week stay and the owner was so helpful and available. Experienced snow for the first time in years and enjoyed the patio fire pit. The decor was outstanding and everything imaginable was available right down to shampoo and hairdryer. Will definitely visit the great oasis again. Was necessary to cut my trip short and the owner was gracious enough to offer a refund of time not used. Unheard of in this business. Thanks so much Peter!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My husband and I stayed here for a week and would definitely stay again. The property was clean (except for the outdoor grill) and conveniently located to downtown and a major highway. The weather was nice so we walked to the house from the convention center during one excursion. We have a large truck but we were always able to park on the street right in front of the house. The layout is very open. The master bedroom does not have a door or curtain but the bed is around a corner so it still has a private feel. I particularly enjoyed sitting by the fire pit on the patio during the cool nights and mornings. My only complaint is that the flooring is uneven in places, but luckily it didn't cause any problems. Peter, the owner, always responded quickly to my questions and was very nice and professional.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2
