We loved this house, it's private location, the pool, the volleyball court, horseshoes and basketball hoop! The owner had the outside equipment for volleyball, basketball and water toys for the pool! We were in need of nothing but food, drink and sunshine for a great relaxing week at the beach! Our dog loved the deck and the yard! Phil is easy to work with and has a beautiful home. Thanks again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, pet owners, girls getaway, families with young children.

This house was just as listed, but more than met our expectations! It was comfortable, beautiful, open, and clean. The kids enjoyed the pool every day we were there. The street is quiet and not a lot of traffic was on it, so it was perfect for evening walks/bike rides. The location was quiet and private, yet still central to everything and anything you would want to do or go to while on vacation in Nags Head. The owner was a joy to deal with, no hassles and returned the security deposit very quickly. We will definitely be returning to Rest-a-Shored!! We just returned from our week long stay in Nags Head! Rest a Shored was by far our best rental yet! The house was roomy and clean. The pool was relaxing and the deck was lovely. The location was super, close to the beach and sound. While in the Outer Banks we enjoyed climbing the sand dunes, the Wright Brothers Musuem, wave runners and parasailing, too. What a fabulous stay!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Rest-a-Shored exceeded my expectations. It was clean and very nicely decorated. The kitchen had everything you need and grocery shopping is minutes away. The house is in a great location, close to everything. The outside amenities were awesome. I would definitely come back and would highly recommend this house to anyone. I would recommend this house to anyone, rather traveling as a couple or with children. We never even used the upstairs as the first floor was enough space for the 2 of us and our 2 dogs. The dogs loved the wrap around deck and it was very convenient to let them out and not have to worry about them getting off the deck. We re planning a return trip in the fall and will definitely be contacting Phil again. Also, the location is great. You don't have to travel more than 10 minutes to all the restaurants ans shopping.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

The owner of this property was great. My family and I had a great time staying in this home. There was a lot of activites for the kids to do and we were very close to the beach and other amenities. The house was easy to find and in the middle of all of the fun stuff to do. It was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was very well stocked with every kind of pot and pans. The owner was very helpful before and after our stay also. I would highly recommend this property to friends and relatives. It was close to the dunes, fishing and shopping.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We had a great time staying here on our vacation. We were very thankful for all the activities to do at the house since we could not get in the ocean most days due to rip tides. We still never had a dull moment! Us girls loved the pool and the boys were hard to get away from the putting green! The wii was a nice touch too so we didn't have to bring our own. We all are definitely looking forward to our next trip!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, girls getaway, families with young children.
